Moreno went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Monday's 9-5 win over the Dodgers.

Both of Moreno's homers this season have come over his last eight games. The catcher is 12-for-34 (.353) with seven RBI, one stolen base and six runs scored in that span. He is now slashing .264/.331/.364 over 133 plate appearances on the year while seeing a majority of the time behind the plate over Jose Herrera.

Gurriel went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run, a walk and an additional run scored in Monday's 9-5 win over the Dodgers.

Gurriel stretched the Diamondbacks' lead to 5-0 with one of two homers in the third inning. The outfielder has looked good lately, going 9-for-27 (.333) with five extra-base hits and a 6:3 BB:K over his last seven contests. That surge has him up to a .227/.271/.442 slash line with eight homers, 29 RBI, 19 runs scored, 11 doubles, one triple and a stolen base over 44 games this season. Gurriel typically hits for a higher average, having never finished below .261 in a full season, so it's fair to expect him to continue trending upward, especially since he's sporting a career-best 12.2 percent strikeout rate.

Miller retired the only batter he faced to earn the save in Monday's 9-5 win over the Dodgers.

Ryan Thompson was initially tabbed with the ninth inning with Arizona ahead by six runs. He nearly made a mess of it, leaving two runners on with two outs, but Miller stepped in and got Hyeseong Kim on a groundout to end the threat. Miller has recorded saves in his last four outings, allowing one run with a 3:3 K:BB over 3.1 innings in that span. Overall, he's at a 1.35 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 22:8 K:BB with five saves and six holds through 20 innings. He appears to be the best bet as a fill-in closer while the Diamondbacks wait for Justin Martinez (shoulder) to be ready for action again. Martinez is expected back for this weekend's series in St. Louis, at which point Miller may end up back in a setup role.

Pfaadt (7-3) allowed three runs on three hits and a walk while failing to record a strikeout over six innings to earn the win over the Dodgers on Monday.

Pfaadt had recorded no fewer than three strikeouts in any of his first nine starts this season. He wasn't as fortunate this time, but he had some luck on his side -- while all three hits he allowed were home runs, they were also all solo shots, and they came after Arizona had opened with seven runs over the first three innings. Pfaadt can do better, but this was his sixth quality start of the season as well as his second win over the Dodgers on the year. He's maintained a 3.81 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 44:14 K:BB across 56.2 innings so far. His next start is projected to be in St. Louis this weekend.

Tovar went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional RBI on Monday in a loss to the Phillies.

Tovar helped Colorado get off to a fast start, belting a solo shot in the first inning and adding a run-scoring single in the third. The shortstop didn't go deep in any of his first 18 contests this season but has now homered in back-to-back games. Since returning from the injured list May 16, Tovar has gone 8-for-14 with the pair of long balls, three runs and four RBI over three games.

Bohm went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in a 9-3 victory versus the Rockies on Monday.

Bohm's long ball was a big one, as he belted a two-run shot in the eighth inning to give the Phillies their first lead. It was just the third homer of the season for the third baseman but his second over his past five contests. Bohm has been swinging a hot stick throughout May, batting .339 with the two homers, eight RBI and seven runs through 16 games.

Sosa went 4-for-5 with a two-run home run and an additional run against the Rockies in a 9-3 win Monday.

Sosa singled three times in his first four plate appearances and capped his big day with a two-run blast to left field in the ninth inning. The long ball was his first of the campaign. While Sosa hadn't displayed much power until Monday, he's been plenty productive when given the opportunity, as he's slashing .386/.419/.526 through 57 plate appearances.

Schwarber went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in a 9-3 win against Colorado on Monday.

The 300th regular-season home run of Schwarber's career wasn't a cheapie -- he pounded a 466-foot rocket to right field in the ninth inning. The slugger became the 11th active player with 300 or more home runs and pushed his season total to 16, second-most in the majors. Schwarber's career high for long balls in a campaign is 47 (set in 2023), and he's on pace to challenge that mark so far this year.

Halvorsen (0-1) took the loss and was charged with a blown save Monday against the Phillies, allowing four runs on five hits while striking out one batter over two-thirds of an inning.

Halvorsen had picked up Colorado's most recent save -- Saturday versus Tampa Bay -- but was brought in for the eighth inning Monday with the Rockies up by a run. The right-hander gave up the lead on a two-run homer by Alec Bohm and then allowed three more hits, resulting in two more runs, before he was pulled. Halvorsen's usage in the outing suggests that he's not locked in as Colorado's go-to closer despite tying for the team lead with two saves. Zach Agnos also has two saves and has pitched much better than Halvorsen with a 1.50 ERA and 1.00 WHIP to Halvorsen's 5.30 and 1.61 marks.

Freeland yielded one run on seven hits and two walks while striking out six batters over 5.1 innings in a no-decision against Philadelphia on Monday.

Freeland allowed at least one baserunner in each inning in which he appeared, but he got through four scoreless frames before allowing his lone run in the fifth. The southpaw finished with his second-highest strikeout total (six) of the season while racking up an impressive 15 whiffs. It was one of the better starts of the season for the veteran hurler, but he still holds a poor 5.68 ERA and 1.60 WHIP through 50.2 frames.
