May (2-4) earned the win over Arizona on Wednesday, allowing one run on five hits and one walk while striking out eight batters over six innings.

May had hit a bit of a rough patch coming into Wednesday, posting a 6.51 ERA over his previous five starts. The right-hander turned things around in fine fashion against Arizona, however, notching his fourth quality start of the campaign but just his second over his past six appearances. May actually was in position to take the loss when he threw his final pitch, but a three-run home run by Teoscar Hernandez in the bottom of the sixth inning turned a 1-0 Dodgers deficit into a 3-1 lead and resulted in the hurler's second victory of the campaign. May had plenty of positive takeaways from this outing -- he tied a season high with eight punchouts and racked up 14 whiffs -- and will look to build upon the victory in what's projected to be a road start in Cleveland his next time on the mound.

Ross threw two scoreless relief innings in Wednesday's 9-5 win over the Rockies. He struck out three.

Ross continues to operate as a multi-inning reliever for the Phillies, and he's pitched well in recent weeks. After logging a 9.39 ERA over his first 7.2 innings of the year, the veteran right-hander holds a 1.72 ERA and 13:2 K:BB across his last 15.2 frames. Ross still remains without a clear pathway to fantasy appeal, as he remains out of Philadelphia's rotation and high-leverage picture despite the absences of Aaron Nola (ankle) and Jose Alvarado (suspension).

Turner went 2-for-5 with a solo home run, an additional run scored and a stolen base in Wednesday's 9-5 victory versus Colorado.

Turner led off the game with a single and scored the first run on a double steal and subsequent throwing error. The star shortstop added a 424-foot solo blast -- the first of back-to-back jacks with Bryce Harper -- in the third inning. The long ball was Turner's first in his past 13 games, but he's been effective at the plate of late. Over his past three contests, Turner has gone 7-for-15 with four extra-base hits (two doubles, a triple and Wednesday's home run).

Harper went 2-for-5 with a solo home run, an additional run and a stolen base against the Rockies in a 9-5 win Wednesday.

Harper's long ball was a big 437-foot solo shot in the third inning. The veteran first baseman recorded his third straight multi-hit effort and extended his hitting streak to a modest six games. Over that span, he's slashing a scorching .542/.556/.792 with one homer, eight RBI, five runs and two thefts.

Realmuto went 3-for-5 with a home run, a double and three total RBI in a 9-5 win against the Rockies on Wednesday.

Realmuto was the only Phillies batter with multiple extra-base hits Wednesday. He doubled to notch an RBI in the third inning and belted a two-run homer in the sixth. The three-hit performance snapped a small four-game slump during which the veteran catcher went 1-for-17 at the plate. On the season overall, Realmuto is slashing .240/.316/.403 with five homers, 19 RBI and four stolen bases through 41 games.

Palmquist dropped to 0-2 in Wednesday's 9-5 loss to the Phillies, allowing seven runs (six earned) on 10 hits and four walks while striking out two batters over 4.1 innings.

Palmquist got into a hole early, allowing two runs in the first inning. The Colorado offense picked him up and tied the game in the bottom of the second inning, but Palmquist then gave up three runs in the third and was on the hook for the loss from there on out. The southpaw lacked both command and control in the outing -- he served up two home runs and a double while throwing only 46 of 86 pitches for strikes and issuing four free passes. Palmquist's MLB career has gotten off to a rough beginning, as he's allowed 11 earned runs through 8.1 frames over his first two starts. Ryan Feltner (back) has been throwing from the mound as he works his way back from the injured list, and when he eventually returns, it's likely that Palmquist will head back to the minors.

Nola (ankle) played long toss ahead of Wednesday's game against the Rockies, MLB.com reports.

The Phillies also hope Nola will be able to throw off a mound during their upcoming series against the Athletics, which begins Friday. The veteran right-hander is nursing a sprained right ankle that sent him to the injured list on May 15, and it's still unknown if he'll need a short minor-league rehab assignment before re-entering Philadelphia's rotation. Even if Nola is trending toward a brief absence, the Phillies may still want him to get in some reps in the minors given his 6.16 ERA through his first nine starts of 2025.

Walker (2-3) earned the win over Colorado on Wednesday, allowing three runs on six hits and two walks while striking out two batters over five innings.

Walker made his first start since May 1, taking Aaron Nola's spot in the rotation after the latter landed on the IL due to a sprained right ankle. Walker wasn't spectacular in Colorado -- he got just five whiffs and allowed a single run in each of the first, second and fourth innings -- but the right-hander lasted just long enough to qualify for the victory. Walker's strongest trait Wednesday was his willingness to go after batters; he threw a first-pitch strike to 19 of the 23 hitters he faced and registered 49 total strikes among his 68 pitches. It's unclear how many more turns in the rotation Walker will get (if any), as the Phillies have an off day coming up Monday, and Nola is eligible to return from from the injured list May 30.

Banks threw a scoreless sixth inning in Wednesday's 9-5 win over the Rockies. He struck out one.

That's now seven scoreless outings out of nine appearances in May for Banks, but he's still given up five runs this month. On the season, the 33-year-old owns a 3.97 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 25:5 K:BB. With Jose Alvarado out of action due to an 80-game suspension, Banks could see more action as a setup man as opposed to a middle reliever, but he remains well out of contention for regular save chances.

Hayes went 1-for-3 with a walk and two runs scored Wednesday against the Reds.

Hayes reached base multiple times for the first time in his last five starts and also scored multiple runs in a game for the first time on the campaign. Despite being an everyday player, Hayes continues to underwhelm as a fantasy option with only a .247 average, one homer and five stolen bases across 189 plate appearances.
