Irvin (2-8) took the loss Saturday, giving up four runs on six hits and two walks over six innings as the Nationals fell 4-2 to the Marlins. He struck out four.

Half the hits off Irvin went for extra bases, including solo homers by Heriberto Hernandez in the second inning and Jakob Marsee in the fourth. Keeping the ball in the yard has been an issue for the right-hander since he returned from the IL in late July -- Irvin's served up seven homers in 25.2 innings over five outings, leading to a 7.01 ERA, 1.36 WHIP, 18:11 K:BB and an 0-4 record. He'll try to get on track in his next trip to the mound, which lines up to come at home next week against the Rockies.

Mize was removed from Saturday's game against the Twins in the third inning with an apparent lower-body injury, Dennis Lin of The Athletic reports.

Mize saw his velocity steadily decline over the course of Saturday's start, throwing an 88.4-mph sinker in the third. He appeared to be favoring his left leg while leaving the game with a trainer, and the Padres should have an update on Mize once he undergoes further tests. He ends his outing having allowed four runs on four hits --including three home runs -- and one walk over 2.2 innings while failing to record a strikeout.

Ashby gave up two hits in a scoreless ninth inning Saturday to record his second save of the season in a 4-1 win over Atlanta. He didn't strike out a batter.

With Trevor Megill having pitched Thursday and Friday, Ashby got the call in a save situation Saturday and wrapped things up on 21 pitches (15 strikes). Both of his saves have come while Abner Uribe (forearm) has been on the IL, and with the right-hander seemingly on track to return next week, Ashby's window to handle closing duties when Megill is unavailable could be about to close. Ashby's been providing fantasy value even without the saves, posting a 0.00 ERA through 11.1 innings in August with a 1.06 WHIP, 18:5 K:BB, one win and three holds.

Henderson (8-2) picked up the win in Saturday's 4-1 victory over Atlanta, allowing one run on five hits and two walks over six innings. He struck out four.

The 24-year-old righty gave up a run in the first inning on a Michael Harris double, but Henderson shut the door from there, delivering his fifth quality start of the season on 100 pitches (62 strikes). Four of those quality starts have come in August, and on the month he's dialed up a dazzling 2.49 ERA, 0.87 WHIP and 25:5 K:BB in 25.1 innings. Henderson will look to stay locked in during his next outing, which is scheduled to come at home next weekend against the Rangers.

Perez (8-8) took the loss Saturday, giving up four runs (one earned) on four hits and three walks over four innings as Atlanta was downed 4-1 by the Brewers. He struck out two.

Perez's own error in the third inning helped soften the blow to his ERA, but the veteran southpaw still needed 97 pitches (58 strikes) to record just 12 outs. He's been feast or famine since the All-Star break, holding the opposition scoreless in four outings but stumbling to a 5.14 ERA in his other three. Perez will look to bounce back in his next start, which is set to come at home next weekend against the Rockies.

Hill was removed from Saturday's game against the Cardinals due to neck stiffness, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Hill went 1-for-2 with an RBI double before being replaced by Justin Crawford in the sixth inning. The Phillies should have an update on Hill once he undergoes more tests, but he is in jeopardy of being out of the lineup for Sunday's series finale.

Arraez was removed from Saturday's game against the Cardinals due to lower-body cramps, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Arraez went 1-for-2 with a run scored before being replaced by Bryson Stott at second base in the fourth inning. It doesn't appear to be a serious injury for Arraez, but the injury may prevent him from being in the lineup for Sunday's series finale.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Saturday that Wrobleski (forearm) will serve as a multi-inning reliever once he returns from the 15-day injured list, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Wrobleski had been in the midst of a career-best season before hitting the shelf last weekend due to left forearm inflammation, logging a 3.56 ERA and 1.10 WHIP across 126.1 innings. Despite his strong numbers as a starter, the 26-year-old won't be able to hang on to his spot in the rotation once Tyler Glasnow (back) comes off the 60-day injured list Tuesday and when Shohei Ohtani (knee/triceps) is ready to resume pitching in games soon thereafter. Wrobleski will continue to contribute to the Dodgers as a lefty reliever capable of handling 2-to-3 innings, but he likely won't make another start in 2026 unless the team opts for a six-man rotation down the stretch or another injury strikes one of Los Angeles' starters.

Manager Dave Roberts said Saturday that Diaz (neck) will move into a lower-leverage role once he returns from the injured list, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Diaz has given up 18 earned runs in just 13.2 innings with the Dodgers this season, so the team will plan to give him what Roberts termed as a "softer landing" once he's healthy with the goal of eventually having him reclaim the closer's role. The 32-year-old righty landed on the injured list Tuesday due to neck inflammation, but he threw a bullpen session Saturday and is expected to return around the time he's eligible to be activated Sept. 2. Tanner Scott should operate as the Dodgers' primary ninth-inning option until Diaz is healthy and the team is confident he's ready for higher-leverage work.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said that Glasnow (back) will return from the 60-day injured list to start Tuesday's game against Atlanta, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Glasnow has been out since May 8 due to lower-back spasms, but he's performed tremendously well during his four minor-league rehab starts, allowing just two runs on three hits and four walks while striking out 20 batters over 13.2 innings. He built up to 77 pitches during his most recent outing at Triple-A, so he likely won't be operating under a heavy workload restriction while he makes his first MLB start in nearly four months. He will return to face an Atlanta lineup that's posted just a .590 OPS across its last 10 games.
