Wood went 1-for-4 with a walk and a solo home run in Friday's win over the Diamondbacks.

The 22-year-old outfielder led off the third inning by crushing a Merrill Kelly cutter over the fence in left-center field, Wood's fourth homer in the last six games and his 16th of the season. He's hit safely in 11 of the last 12 contests, a stretch in which Wood is slashing .364/.463/.795 with 13 runs and 18 RBI as the engine of a suddenly potent Nats offense that is averaging 5.8 runs during that 12-game stretch.

Hassell went 2-for-5 with three RBI in Friday's win over the Diamondbacks.

The rookie outfielder opened the scoring with a two-RBI single in the top of the first inning, kicking off a wild 9-7 victory. Hassell has begun to find his rhythm against big-league pitching, racking up six hits -- including his first career homer -- and five RBI in the last three games, but an 0:9 BB:K over his first 32 plate appearances with the Nats remains a red flag for his fantasy appeal.

Lord recorded his first hold of the season in Friday's win over the Diamondbacks, giving up a hit and two walks while striking out three over two scoreless innings.

Entering the game in the seventh inning with the Nationals ahead 8-6, Lord threw 32 pitches (19 strikes) while providing a bridge to closer Kyle Finnegan. Lord's bounced between the rotation and a long-relief role this season, but Washington manager Dave Martinez appears to be willing to experiment with Lord as a high-leverage option in a Nats bullpen that needs all the late-inning help it can get. The rookie right-hander has earned the audition with a 1.00 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 11:4 K:BB over his last six appearances and nine innings, an impressive turnaround after he got tagged for multiple earned runs in seven straight trips to the mound.

Bailey went 2-for-4 with a double in Friday's 2-0 win over the Marlins.

Bailey hit his first double since May 4 in the second inning and added a single in the eighth. With that, he recorded his first multi-hit effort since May 6, marking his fifth of the season. The 26-year-old catcher owns a lackluster .183/.242/.268 slash line with 15 runs scored, 15 RBI, nine extra-base hits -- including one home run -- and a 32.9 percent strikeout rate across 158 plate appearances this season.

Marte went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Friday's win over the Rockies.

Getting the start at DH and batting sixth against Kyle Freeland, Marte took the southpaw deep in the fourth inning for his third homer of the season. It was the 36-year-old's first start since May 24, and while he's being deployed in a short-side platoon role right now, Marte's been productive in May when he's gotten an opportunity, slashing .316/.422/.421 through 46 plate appearances on the month with one homer, one steal, four runs and four RBI.

Soto went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Friday's win over the Rockies.

The 26-year-old has endured a rough May, slashing .119/.260/.136 over his prior 16 games with just one extra-base hit (a double), but Soto showed signs of life at the plate Friday with an RBI double into the right-center gap in the third inning. He may be feeling the weight of his $765 million contract, but Soto is too good of a hitter to remain in this deep of a slump for much longer.

Lee went 1-for-5 with a stolen base in Friday's 2-0 win over the Marlins.

Lee singled on a groundball in the fifth inning before logging his first stolen base since April 5. Following a seven-game hitting streak, the 26-year-old outfielder has struggled over his last three outings, slashing .083/.214/.083 with a 1:1 BB:K across 14 plate appearances. However, Lee continues to put the ball in play and owns a team-low 11.8 percent strikeout rate across 238 plate appearances this season.

Ramos went 1-for-5 with a triple and a run scored in Friday's 2-0 win over the Marlins.

Ramos hit his first triple of the season in the first inning before coming around to score and getting the Giants on the board. The 25-year-old outfielder has notched at least one hit in three straight games, during which he has recorded a .357/.357/.714 slash line with three runs scored, two RBI, a home run and a triple across 14 plate appearances. He has struck out six times during that span, including three times Friday. Ramos has been productive through 55 appearances this season, slashing .286/.346/.488 with 37 runs scored, 29 RBI, 22 extra-base hits -- including 10 homers -- and three stolen bases across 237 plate appearances.

Adames went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Friday's 2-0 win over the Marlins.

Adames singled in the fourth inning before recording his first stolen base since April 30. The 29-year-old shortstop has struggled of late, slashing .139/.205/.194 with three RBI, two runs scored, a triple and a 30.8 percent strikeout rate across 39 plate appearances in his last 10 games. Overall, he owns a .209/.287/.332 slash line with 30 runs scored, 25 RBI, 16 extra-base hits -- including five homers -- three stolen bases and a 26.3 percent strikeout rate across 247 plate appearances this season.

Mauricio is batting .560 (14-for-25) with three homers and three steals through his first seven games for Triple-A Syracuse, but the Mets remain very deliberate in building up his workload, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

The 24-year-old infielder has yet to play more than two games in a row without getting a day off with Syracuse, and the Mets are intent on making sure Mauricio stays healthy after he missed the entire 2024 campaign due to knee surgery. "We're most focused on him getting the reps under him, getting the volume, hopefully continuing to swing a really hot bat," president of baseball operations David Stearns said this week. "And then once we get to that point, it gives us something to think about." New York also doesn't have a clear path to consistent at-bats on the big-league roster for Mauricio, and it doesn't intend to call him up just to sit on the bench. "Figuring out exactly what that puzzle looks like is a real part of it," Stearns said. Mauricio still figures to provide the Mets with a boost at some point this summer, but until then he'll continue to torment International League pitching while preparing for an everyday role.
