Tucker (finger) is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Nationals.

The 28-year-old jammed his right ring finger during Sunday's game against the Reds and had X-rays come back negative, but he'll still end up missing at least one start, which will be his first time on the bench this season. Tucker should be considered day-to-day, while Seiya Suzuki moves out to right field and Justin Turner starts at designated hitter Tuesday.

Norby is not in the lineup for Tuesday's contest against the Rockies.

Norby is in a 1-for-23 tailspin at the dish, so he'll get a day to regroup. Javier Sanoja will cover third base and bat ninth for the Marlins on Tuesday.

The Marlins recalled Soriano from Triple-A Jacksonville on Tuesday, Kevin Barral of FishonFirst.com reports.

The right-hander spent most of May in the minors but will rejoin the Marlins on Tuesday with Max Meyer (hip) heading to the injured list. Soriano has an 8.35 ERA, 1.75 WHIP and 19:11 K:BB across 18.1 major-league innings this year and should fill a low-leverage relief role.

The Marlins placed Meyer on the 15-day injured list Tuesday due to a left hip impingement, Kevin Barral of FishonFirst.com reports.

Meyer surrendered four earned runs in each of his past two starts -- including a matchup versus the Rockies on Monday -- and will be sidelined for at least the next couple weeks due to a hip issue. It's unclear how long the left-hander is expected to be sidelined, though he'll be eligible to be reinstated from the injured list June 18.

Young (shoulder) has been sent to Double-A Harrisburg to begin a rehab assignment, Bobby Blanco of MASNSports.com reports.

Young has missed the last week-and-a-half with a left shoulder AC joint sprain but is ready to test things out in game action. He could be back with the Nationals in the next week or so.

The Diamondbacks placed Burnes (elbow) on the 15-day injured list Tuesday.

The right-hander is getting a second opinion on his right elbow from well-known surgeon Dr. Neal ElAttrache, and Burnes will be sidelined for at least the next couple weeks as he continues to be evaluated. Ryne Nelson will take Burnes' place in Arizona's starting rotation, while Tommy Henry was called up from Triple-A Reno to fill the open roster spot.

The Diamondbacks recalled Henry from Triple-A Reno on Tuesday, Jose M. Romero of The Arizona Republic reports.

Henry spun 2.2 scoreless relief innings during his lone appearance with the Diamondbacks earlier this season. He'll provide the bullpen with some length.

Tovar (side) is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game in Miami.

Tovar had to depart Monday's contest due to discomfort in his left side. He was not placed on the 10-day injured list prior to Tuesday's game, which is certainly a good sign, but an eventual trip to the IL can't be ruled out. Orlando Arcia is at shortstop and batting sixth for the Rockies on Tuesday.

Gorman is starting at designated hitter and batting eighth in Tuesday's game versus the Royals.

Playing time has been hard to come by lately for Gorman. This will be his first start in a week and only his sixth start across the Cardinals' last 20 contests.

Pages is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Royals.

Pages has been receiving the lion's share of starts at catcher lately while Ivan Herrera slots in at designated hitter, but it will be Herrera behind the dish for Tuesday's series opener. Nolan Gorman is at DH for the Cardinals.
