Baldwin went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's loss to the Diamondbacks.

Fresh off being named the NL Rookie of the Month for May, Baldwin got hold of a Zac Gallen cutter in the fourth inning and ripped it down the right-field line for his sixth homer of the season. The rookie has been splitting starts behind the plate with Sean Murphy of late, but Baldwin's been the more productive hitter with a .379/.400/.621 slash line, four homers and 10 RBI over his last 20 games.

Strider (0-4) took the loss Tuesday against the Diamondbacks, coughing up five runs on six hits -- including three home runs -- and two walks over five innings. He struck out four.

The right-hander struggled through 85 pitches (52 strikes), serving up homers to Ketel Marte in the first and third innings and Corbin Carroll in the fifth. Strider has been a shell of himself since returning from a hamstring injury, posting a 6.43 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 14:7 K:BB over three starts and 14 innings, and his velocity remains down -- he's averaging 95.2 mph on his four-seamer this season, over two ticks below the 97.3 mph he was averaging in 2023. Strider will try to find his form in his next outing, which is scheduled to come on the road this weekend in San Francisco.

Hays (foot) could be cleared to resume running later this week, Charlie Goldsmith of the Dayton Daily News reports.

Hays just recently shed his walking foot and began baseball activities as he recovers from a left foot contusion, and he could take another step in his rehab in a few days. The outfielder has dealt with multiple soft-tissue injuries this season, so the Reds are proceeding cautiously with the outfielder.

Priester is scheduled to work in bulk relief behind opening pitcher DL Hall in Wednesday's game against the Reds, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Milwaukee will go back to the Hall/Priester combination after the two successfully worked in tandem this past Friday against the Phillies. In that game, Hall opened the contest with three no-hit, shutout innings, while Priester followed with six innings of two-run ball to earn the win. Hall could work slightly deeper into Wednesday's contest if he's efficient with his pitch count, but Priester still profiles as the Milwaukee pitcher most likely to factor into the decision.

Durbin is not in the lineup for Wednesday's contest in Cincinnati.

Durbin had made 17 straight starts from May 14 through Sunday but now finds himself on the bench for the second time in the Brewers' three-games series in Cincinnati. The Brewers haven't indicated that Durbin is dealing with an injury, but fantasy managers may still want to confirm that he's back in the lineup Friday, when Milwaukee kicks off its three-game series with San Diego. Andruw Monasterio will spell Durbin at third base Wednesday.

Contreras is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game in Cincinnati.

Contreras will get a rare day off after going hitless in the first two games of the series. Eric Haase will start at catcher and bat eighth for the Brewers.

Lux is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Brewers.

Left-hander DL Hall is opening the game for the Brewers, so the lefty-hitting Lux will begin the contest on the bench but could be a candidate to enter the contest once Milwaukee turns the ball over to right-handed bulk reliever Quinn Priester. Lux had started in each of the Reds' previous five games, going 4-for-15 with three walks and an RBI.

Fraley is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Brewers.

Left-hander DL Hall is opening the game for the Brewers, so the lefty-hitting Fraley will begin the contest on the bench but could be a candidate to enter the contest once Milwaukee turns the ball over to right-handed bulk reliever Quinn Priester. Since returning from the injured list Friday, Fraley has gone 1-for-11 with a home run and three walks.

Hilliard is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Marlins.

After getting called up from Triple-A Albuquerque on Friday, Hilliard was on the bench for the Rockies' loss to the Mets that day but started against right-handed pitchers in each of the ensuing three games. Hilliard recorded three hits and drew a walk over 12 plate appearances in those contests, but the Rockies aren't yet prepared to hand him a regular starting role quite yet. The 31-year-old finds himself on the bench for a second consecutive matchup with a right-hander (Cal Quantrill) in Wednesday's series finale.

The Reds transferred Lowder (forearm/oblique) from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Wednesday.

The transaction frees up a spot on the 40-man roster for lefty Wade Miley, who was signed Wednesday. Lowder originally went on the 15-day IL with a right forearm strain but more recently suffered a left oblique strain while on a rehab assignment. The righty remains shut down with the oblique issue, and it's unclear when he'll be ready to resume his rehab assignment.
