House could make his major-league debut sooner rather than later, Mark Zuckerman of MASN Sports reports.

After launching another homer Thursday for Triple-A Rochester, House is slashing .325/.367/.651 over his last 20 games with seven homers and 18 RBI, and more importantly, he has a 21.1 percent strikeout rate, a big step up from the 27.8 percent mark he posted through his first 37 games this season. The Nationals have gotten just two homers all season from their third baseman -- only the Cubs have fewer with zero -- and if House can carry his Triple-A momentum with him to the 26-man roster once he does get promoted, he could provide a big upgrade over the likes of Jose Tena, Amed Rosario and Paul DeJong (orbital). James Wood was promoted July 1 of last season, and the organization could consider a similar timeline for House's debut.

The Marlins placed Tinoco on the 15-day injured list Friday with a right forearm strain.

Tinoco didn't strike out a single batted over his last five appearances and had been deployed in low-leverage situations lately, so it's possible he's been hurt for a while. Per Daniel Alvarez-Montes of ElExtraBase.com, an MRI on Tinoco's forearm didn't reveal any structural damage, but it's not clear how long he might be shelved.

Cardinals manager Oliver Marmol said his concern level was "not high" after Liberatore exited Thursday's start versus the Royals due to fatigue, Daniel Guerrero of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

The velocity on the southpaw's four-seamer dropped below 90 mph in the fifth inning, prompting a visit from Marmol and the trainer and the pitcher's eventual removal. However, Liberatore did not undergo imaging after the game and there doesn't appear to be any worry that he's injured. Rather, the pitcher believes mechanical issues were the main factor in him feeling fatigued. Liberatore has struggled in back-to-back starts and it's possible he's going through a "dead arm" phase after he spent the bulk of last season in a relief role. He's tentatively lined up to face the Blue Jays at home next week, but the date of his next start is not set in stone.

Pena is hitting .407 with two home runs, three steals and a 16.7 percent strikeout rate in seven games since being activated off the concussion IL for Single-A Carolina on May 28.

Pena was excellent before the concussion, but he's been even better since a 10-day absence. He shares the left side of the infield with Jesus Made, so Pena has split time between shortstop and third base. He could also end up at second base or could try his hand at center field. On the season, the 18-year-old is slashing .344/.407/.563 with five home runs, 24 steals and a 10.3 percent strikeout rate in 32 games.

Lindor (toe) isn't viewed as a candidate for a trip to the injured list, Will Sammon of the Athletic reports.

The All-Star shortstop was plunked by a Tony Gonsolin slider Wednesday that broke the pinkie toe on his right foot, and pain tolerance will determine how quickly Lindor can get back on the field. "I think it's going to be a nagging thing," he said before Thursday's game. "It's a bone; it's a broken bone. I think it takes six weeks for a bone to be fully healed." Luisangel Acuna got the start at shortstop Thursday and should hold down the starting job until Lindor is ready to return. Mets manager Carlos Mendoza indicated Lindor wasn't available to pinch hit Thursday, but it's not clear if that was simply a precaution, or if he will need multiple days off before getting back into the lineup.

Suarez went 2-for-4 with a walk, a double and two RBI in Thursday's 11-10 win over Atlanta.

Suarez's two-run double in the ninth inning was the game-winning hit, completing a stunning seven-run comeback rally. The third baseman's bat has woken up since May 12, when his batting average stood at .200. Since then, he's gone 22-for-74 (.297) with six doubles, four home runs and 19 RBI over 20 contests. He's still batting only .232, but Suarez's 16 home runs and team-high 46 RBI are hard for fantasy GMs to ignore.

Thomas went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Thursday's 11-10 win over Atlanta.

Thomas went yard as part of Arizona's seven-run ninth inning, as the team engineered an incredible comeback. It was the second home run of the season for Thomas, who has been slumping the last two weeks. He entered the game batting .133 (4-for-30) with one RBI over the previous 14 games. The multi-hit effort was his second in the last 23 contests.

Gurriel went 1-for-4 with a walk and a solo home run in Thursday's 11-10 win over Atlanta.

Gurriel's ninth-inning home run was the spark for a seven-run rally that led to a highly unlikely Diamondbacks comeback -- Arizona had a 0.01 percent win probability entering the final frame. The homer was Gurriel's ninth of the season and first in 13 contests. The blast also extended his hit streak to 11 games, during which he's gone 16-for-42 (.381) with three extra-base hits, four walks, two steals and three runs scored.

Tawa went 0-for-3 with a walk and a run scored in Thursday's 11-10 win over Atlanta.

Tawa entered as a pinch hitter for first baseman Pavin Smith and remained in the game to play the same position. It was the second time this season Tawa has played first base. Arizona would normally use Josh Naylor to fill in at first base, but he had started the game as the DH and eventually left with a shoulder injury. If Naylor's injury forces him to miss time, Smith would be the likely starter at first base against righties with Tawa, Lourdes Gurriel and Ildemaro Vargas as potential platoon partners.

Rodriguez (shoulder) will start Friday's series opener against the Reds, MLB.com reports.

Rodriguez, who is on the 15-day injured list with shoulder inflammation, joined the Diamondbacks earlier this week and will be activated Friday. The left-hander's return comes at a key moment for the team, which lost Corbin Burnes (elbow) earlier this week.
