Jarvis allowed a run on three hits and two walks while striking out two over three innings to earn the save in Tuesday's 10-3 win over the Mariners.

Jarvis' first big-league save was of the three-inning variety, and this shouldn't be an indication that he'll get a chance to close any time soon, even with Justin Martinez (elbow) and A.J. Puk (elbow) both on the injured list. This was Jarvis' first major-league appearance since April 18. He struggled as a starter at Triple-A Reno prior to his recall Tuesday, posting a 5.17 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 29:17 K:BB across 31.1 innings for the minor-league affiliate. Jarvis figures to operate as a multi-inning reliever moving forward, though his 6.10 ERA, 1.45 WHIP and 11:5 K:BB across 10.1 innings in the majors this season offer little reason for confidence.

Pfaadt (8-4) allowed two runs on nine hits and a walk while striking out four over five-plus innings to earn the win over the Mariners on Tuesday.

Pfaadt had five scoreless innings on his ledger before allowing solo home runs to Randy Arozarena and Rowdy Tellez in the sixth. Even with the late fade, this was a massive improvement over Pfaadt's previous two outings, during which he allowed a total of 14 runs over three innings. The right-hander is still at an ugly 5.37 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 55:18 K:BB through 70.1 innings over 14 starts this season. His next start is projected to be on the road versus the Blue Jays next week.

Bogaerts went 3-for-5 with two RBI and one run scored in Tuesday's 11-1 win over the Dodgers.

Bogaerts was recently hampered by a shoulder issue, which may partially explain his recent 5-for-35 (.143) stretch at the plate over his previous 10 games. He broke out of the slump with three singles in Tuesday's win, while also notching his first RBI since May 27. The shortstop continues to hover between .230 and .250 with his batting average -- Tuesday's effort put him at .240 on the year. He's added a meager .649 OPS, three home runs, 13 stolen bases, 23 RBI and 27 runs scored across 65 contests this season.

Arraez went 3-for-5 with two doubles, one RBI and four runs scored in Tuesday's 11-1 win over the Dodgers.

Arraez hasn't found any over-the-fence power in June, but he's gone 11-for-42 (.262) with five doubles across 10 games this month. He did his part to get on base frequently Tuesday, and Manny Machado benefited, knocking in Arraez three times in a five-RBI effort. Arraez is at a .281/.314/.405 slash line with three home runs, 15 doubles, three triples, 25 RBI, 31 runs scored and three stolen bases over 60 games this season. He continues to switch between first base and designated hitter, sharing both positions with Gavin Sheets.

Hayes went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Tuesday against the Marlins.

Hayes has struggled at the plate most of the season, but he has at least one hit in eight of his last 11 starts. Even so, he's gone just 9-for-39 with four RBI and five runs scored in that span. Hayes' home run Tuesday was his second of the season and first since April 4.

Machado went 3-for-5 with five RBI and one run scored in Tuesday's 11-1 win over the Dodgers.

Machado plated at least one run in four of his five at-bats. The third baseman is 17-for-41 (.415) with four home runs and 14 RBI over 10 contests to begin June. The surge has his batting average for the year up to .325 to go with a .904 OPS, 10 homers, 39 RBI, 46 runs scored, 18 doubles and eight stolen bases across 66 contests.

Gordon (oblique) played catch on the field prior to Tuesday's game against the Giants, MLB.com reports.

Gordon has been sidelined since June 3 with an oblique strain, and Tuesday's throwing session was his first since he was placed on the injured list. There is no timeline for his return.

Maldonado went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a walk and a second run scored in Tuesday's 11-1 win over the Dodgers.

Maldonado has two multi-hit efforts over his last three games, but he's gone just 5-for-32 (.156) in 15 contests dating back to May 13. The catcher continues to alternate starts with Elias Diaz this month. Maldonado has never been particularly gifted as a hitter, and he's at a .189/.223/.311 slash line with three homers, six RBI and five runs scored over 97 plate appearances this season.

Bryant (back) played catch on the field prior to Tuesday's game against the Giants, MLB.com reports.

Bryant has been sidelined since April 12 and has made minimal progress since an ablation procedure May 8. There is no timeline for his return.

Cease (2-5) allowed three hits and five walks while striking out 11 over seven scoreless innings to earn the win over the Dodgers on Tuesday.

Cease overcame issuing a season-high five walks to post his first scoreless outing of the season. The 11 strikeouts were also a season high, and it was enough to get him back in the win column for the first time since April 2. The right-hander is now at a 4.28 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 96:29 K:BB through 75.2 innings over 14 starts, five of which have been quality starts. Cease's next outing is projected to be a rematch versus the Dodgers in Los Angeles early next week.
