Rodriguez is not in the Reds' starting lineup against the Giants on Monday.

Rodriguez has gone 4-for-10 with a solo home run and two additional runs scored over his last three outings, but he'll be on the bench for Monday's series opener. Ivan Johnson, Dane Myers and JJ Bleday will man the Reds' outfield from left to right.

Chaparro is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Rockies.

Chaparro has begun to gain traction as an everyday player, but the Nationals won't have room in the lineup for him Monday while CJ Abrams is limited to serving as the team's designated hitter after a sprained ankle kept him on the bench for the previous four contests. So long as Abrams is able to resume duties in the middle infield in short order, Chaparro's playing-time outlook should remain favorable over the final month of the season.

Nardi (elbow) is slated to undergo season-ending surgery Friday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Arm specialist Dr. Keith Meister will perform Nardi's surgery, but the Marlins aren't expected to provide specifics on the procedure until the operation is completed. If Nardi requires a UCL repair or reconstruction rather than something less significant such as a flexor tendon surgery, he'll likely wind up missing the entire 2027 season. Nardi posted a 5.16 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 27:11 K:BB while collecting three wins and eight holds over 22.2 innings with Miami this season before hitting the shelf May 30.

Lewis (wrist) went 3-for-25 with a triple and a 0:9 BB:K in his first seven games with Double-A Pensacola since being reinstated from the 7-day injured list Aug. 14.

Lewis had been on the shelf for just over seven weeks due to a fractured wrist. The 23-year-old outfielder has struggled to find his swing since his activation but has still been an above-league-average hitter (104 wRC+) at Double-A this season, slashing .233/.303/.489 with 17 home runs and 14 steals over 73 games.

Miami optioned De Los Santos to Triple-A Jacksonville on Monday.

After a two-day stint in the majors, De Los Santos will give up his spot on the 26-man active roster to first baseman/outfielder Kyle Stowers (hamstring), who was reinstated from the 10-day injured list. De Los Santos should get the chance to play on an everyday basis upon returning to Jacksonville.

Conine is not in the lineup for Monday's contest versus the Red Sox.

The left-handed-hitting Conine has received some opportunities recently to play against lefties, but he will take a seat in this one as Boston sends southpaw Ranger Suarez to the bump. Agustin Ramirez will slot in at designated hitter for the Marlins.

The Marlins reinstated Stowers (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list Monday. He'll start at first base and bat third in the series opener versus the Red Sox.

Miami optioned infielder Deyvison De Los Santos to Triple-A Jacksonville to clear room on the active roster for Stowers, who missed approximately two weeks due to a Grade 1 left hamstring strain. Stowers didn't require a rehab assignment prior to being activated, but the Marlins could look to build in and off day or two for him in first week back with the big club following the injury. The 28-year-old hit .242 with 16 home runs, one stolen base, 52 RBI and 44 runs in 94 games with Miami prior to landing on the shelf.

Marlins manager Clayton McCullough said Monday that Meyer (neck/rib) has yet to be cleared to resume a throwing program, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Meyer landed on the 15-day injured list just after the All-Star break due to a neck strain, and he more recently suffered a rib injury that required a cortisone shot. The right-hander is rehabbing at the Marlins' spring training complex in Florida, and it's unclear when he will be cleared to throw. With just over a month remaining in the regular season, Meyer is running out of time to get stretched back out to return as a starting pitcher.

Norby will start at second base and bat sixth in Monday's game against the Nationals.

Norby will head into the series opener in Washington, D.C. riding an eight-game hitting streak, during which he's batted .375 with one home run, one stolen base, five runs and two RBI. He'll be making his fourth start in six games and appears to have settled into a near-everyday role in the Colorado infield after third baseman Kyle Karros (concussion) played just two games before landing back on the 7-day injured list.

Carrigg is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Nationals.

The Rockies will give the rookie a breather after he hit just .161 with a 3:10 BB:K while starting in each of the last eight games. With Carrigg on the bench, the Rockies will roll out a starting outfield of Zac Veen, Jake McCarthy and Mickey Moniak from left to right in the series opener in Washington, D.C.
