Nelson (3-2) allowed one unearned run on six hits and a walk while striking out three over five innings to earn the win over the Padres on Friday.

Nelson gave up seven runs over just three innings in Cincinnati in his last start, but a return home served him well. He's allowed just one unearned run over 15.2 innings across his last three home appearances. The right-hander appears to have done enough for now to hold onto a spot in the rotation, which opened up when Corbin Burnes (elbow) suffered a season-ending injury and subsequently elected for Tommy John surgery. Nelson has maintained a serviceable 4.14 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 41:16 K:BB across 50 innings over 15 appearances (five starts) this season. His next start is projected to be at Toronto.

Cabrera did not factor into Friday's decision against the Nationals, allowing two runs on two hits and two walks while striking out five across three innings.

Cabrera struck out five of the first seven batters he faced, but he appeared to tweak his ankle on first base in the third inning after colliding with Eric Wagaman. Cabrera was able to stay in the game, but he gave up a two-run home run to James Wood on the next at-bat and did not come out for the fourth despite tossing only 64 pitches (38 strikes). The Marlins didn't announce an injury, and assuming he's given the green light, Cabrera is slated to make his next start against the Phillies at home next week.

Kolek (3-2) allowed five runs (four earned) on seven hits and two walks while striking out five over 4.1 innings to take the loss versus the Diamondbacks on Friday.

Kolek had come away with a pair of no-decisions in his last two outings despite covering 11.1 scoreless innings in that stretch. He had some trouble with the Diamondbacks, including allowing two solo home runs, and a rally in the fifth inning was enough to knock him from the game at 82 pitches (52 strikes). Kolek is now at a 3.50 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 34:18 K:BB across 46.1 innings over eight starts this season. His next start is projected to be on the road versus the Dodgers.

Faucher earned the save in Friday's 11-9 win over the Nationals, allowing one hit while striking out one batter in a scoreless ninth inning. He did not issue a walk.

The Marlins called in Faucher to protect a two-run lead, and the 29-year-old worked around a Keibert Ruiz single to close things out. Faucher has logged a save in back-to-back appearances and has given up just one run over his last nine outings. He has a 4.01 ERA, 1.38 WHIP, two holds and a 23:11 K:BB across 24.2 innings this season.

Burleson went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored in Friday's 3-2 loss to Milwaukee.

Burleson continued his hot start to June, as he now has four multi-hit games to begin the month. Across his last 38 at-bats, the lefty-hitting slugger is batting .368 with one homer, two doubles, four RBI and six runs scored. Burleson regularly sits against southpaws -- he's taken just 24 at-bats versus left-handers this year -- but he should continue to serve as St. Louis' primary designated hitter against right-handed pitching.

Lowe went 1-for-4 with two RBI in Friday's 11-9 loss to Miami.

Lowe drove in a run on a single in the seventh frame before recording another RBI in the eighth on a groundout. The 29-year-old first baseman has logged at least one hit in six of his last seven games, and over that span he has gone 8-for-25 (.320) with one home run and four RBI.

Contreras went 1-for-3 with a double and two RBI in Friday's 3-2 victory over St. Louis.

The 27-year-old backstop has had a tough time at the dish throughout the campaign -- he's batting .175 with just two extra-base hits and four RBI in 40 at-bats during June and has a .686 OPS for the season. Contreras tallied his first multi-RBI game since May 19, and he does have a 14.3 percent walk rate across 280 plate appearances in 2025. As long as he routinely occupies a premium spot in the Brewers' lineup, the catcher should have plenty of RBI chances moving forward.

Parker (4-7) took the loss against the Marlins on Friday, allowing six runs on eight hits and three walks while striking out three across 3.1 innings.

Parker gave up a run in each of the first two innings before yielding four runs in the third, highlighted by a two-run double by Dane Myers. Parker struggled with his control with only 48 strikes on 87 pitches. The 25-year-old southpaw yielded three runs or less in each of his first five starts this season but has done so just three times in his last nine outings. Parker now sits at a 4.84 ERA and 1.35 WHIP (across 74.1 innings), which is fourth- and sixth-worst, respectively, among qualified National League starters. He is tentatively lined up to face the Rockies at home next week.

Abrams went 3-for-6 with three runs scored in Friday's 11-9 loss to the Marlins.

Abrams reached base safely on three singles and came home to score in the third, seventh and eighth innings. Friday marked the eighth time that he has recorded at least three hits in a game, two of which have come over his last four outings. Abrams is slashing .270/.335/.412 with 11 steals, 14 doubles, nine home runs and 22 RBI across 246 plate appearances this season.

Wood went 3-for-5 with an RBI double, a two-run home run and two additional runs scored in Friday's 11-9 loss to Miami.

Wood put the Nationals on the board in the third inning, when he crushed a 451-foot, two-run home run off Edward Cabrera to center field. Following a two hour-plus rain delay, Wood added an RBI double and crossed home plate in the seventh and eighth, and he and CJ Abrams combined for six of Washington's 16 hits in the loss. Wood has recorded three hits in each of his last two games and has gone 9-for-17 (.529) over his last four games.
