Kyle Stowers LF | MIA
Marlins' Kyle Stowers: Resting against lefty
Stowers is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.
Stowers and fellow left-handed-hitting outfielder Jesus Sanchez will head to the bench Sunday while southpaw Eduardo Rodriguez toes the rubber for Arizona. Heriberto Hernandez will get the nod in left field in place of Stowers, who slashed .321/.472/.786 with three home runs, six RBI and eight runs while starting each of the last eight games.

Jesus Sanchez RF | TOR
Marlins' Jesus Sanchez: Idle for series finale
Sanchez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.
After starting each of the last nine games, the left-handed-hitting Sanchez will receive a breather while the Diamondbacks send southpaw Eduardo Rodriguez to the bump. Dane Myers will slide over from center field to replace Sanchez in right field in the series finale.

Nolan Arenado 3B | ARI
Cardinals' Nolan Arenado: Makes precautionary exit Sunday
Arenado said after Sunday's 7-0 win over the Guardians that his removal from the contest was due to a jammed right index finger, John Denton of MLB.com reports.
Arenado went 2-for-3 with a double before he was lifted for a pinch hitter as a precautionary measure in the top of the eighth inning. The Cardinals were up 5-0 at the time of Arenado's departure, which adds credence to the idea that the third baseman's removal was precautionary. Even so, fantasy managers will want to keep close tabs on Arenado's status heading into Monday's series opener in Pittsburgh.

Riley Adams C | WAS
Nationals' Riley Adams: Receiving breather Sunday
Adams is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.
After Keibert Ruiz was placed on the injured list Tuesday due to a concussion, Adams proceeded to start behind the plate in each of the Nationals' last four games while going 5-for-15 with two doubles, three runs and two RBI during that stretch. Drew Millas will get the nod at catcher Sunday, but Adams should dominate the playing time at the position until Ruiz is activated.

Josh Naylor 1B | SEA
Diamondbacks' Josh Naylor: Still sitting Sunday
Naylor (neck) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.
Naylor was unable to play in Saturday's 8-7 loss after he exited Friday's 9-8 loss due to neck stiffness, and he'll remain on the bench for the start of Sunday's series finale. Pavin Smith will man first base while Randal Grichuk serves as the designated hitter versus Miami righty Cal Quantrill.

Jon Berti 3B | CHC
Cubs' Jon Berti: Drawing rare start Sunday
Berti will start at third base and bat ninth in Sunday's game against the Astros.
Berti will enter the lineup for just the second time since rookie Matt Shaw was recalled from Triple-A Iowa in mid-May. Shaw has posted a .655 OPS since his call-up, which has been good enough to keep Berti on the bench.

Matt Shaw RF | CHC
Cubs' Matt Shaw: Taking seat Sunday
Shaw is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Astros.
Jon Berti will receive the nod at third base while Shaw sits after seven straight starts. During that stretch, the rookie went 6-for-25 with four RBI, three runs and three steals. He's swiped 10 bags in 11 attempts on the season, but his fantasy contributions have been fairly muted beyond that, as he's hitting just .222 with two home runs, 25 runs and 13 RBI over 200 plate appearances.

Ryan Ritter 2B | COL
Rockies' Ryan Ritter: Getting Sunday off
Ritter is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Brewers.
Ritter will hit the bench after he went 2-for-9 with a double, a walk, an RBI and a run scored while starting in each of the past three games. Orlando Arcia will replace Ritter at shortstop Sunday.
-
Hunter Goodman C | COL
Rockies' Hunter Goodman: Remaining on bench Sunday
Goodman (hamstring) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Brewers.
Though Goodman will be on the bench for the fourth straight game due to left hamstring tightness, he's shown improvement in recent days, and the Rockies are optimistic that he'll avoid a trip to the injured list, according to MLB.com. Braxton Fulford will handle catching duties for Colorado on Sunday.

Freddie Freeman 1B | LAD
Dodgers' Freddie Freeman: Getting afternoon off
Freeman is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Royals.
Freeman had gone just 2-for-25 with eight strikeouts in six straight starts before getting back on track Saturday, reaching base in all five of his plate appearances and slugging his first home run since May 11. After the big performance, Freeman will be given a breather, affording Enrique Hernandez the chance to make a start at first base.
