Wilmer Flores 1B | SF
Giants' Wilmer Flores: Taking seat Monday
Flores isn't part of the starting nine for Monday's game against the Diamondbacks.
Flores will yield to Dominic Smith at first base for the second time in three games Monday. Flores has just two hits in his last 20 at-bats, but he owns a 4:3 BB:K during that stretch.

Casey Schmitt LF | SF
Giants' Casey Schmitt: Placed on 10-day IL
Schmitt (wrist) was placed on the 10-day injured list Monday, retroactive to June 27, Justice delos Santos of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
Schmitt will officially head to the IL after missing the team's last four games with a bone bruise in his left wrist. The 26-year-old will now be sidelined for at least one more week before he'd be eligible to return to action July 7. In the meantime, Tyler Fitzgerald was recalled from Triple-A Sacramento on Monday to replace Schmitt on the major-league roster.

Tyler Fitzgerald CF | LAD
Giants' Tyler Fitzgerald: Officially called up
Fitzgerald was called up from Triple-A Sacramento prior to Monday's series opener with the Diamondbacks, John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Fitzgerald will officially return to the major-league roster after being sent down June 23. The 27-year-old will look to improve upon the .230/.289/.320 slash line he posted over 178 at-bats in 57 games with the Giants so far this season. Fitzgerald will replace Casey Schmitt (wrist) with the big-league club after Schmitt was placed on the 10-day injured list Monday.

Corbin Carroll RF | ARI
Diamondbacks' Corbin Carroll: Starting to swing
Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said that Carroll (wrist) will begin taking dry swings Tuesday, Jack Sommers of SI.com reports.
Carroll is recovering from a chip fracture in his left wrist but is progressing well and will swing for the first time since being placed on the injured list last Tuesday. The outfielder won't be hitting baseballs Tuesday, but it's still a notable step in his recovery program. Carroll is aiming to return to action before the All-Star break, but the ultimate decision will be left up to the Diamondbacks.

Tyler Fitzgerald CF | LAD
Giants' Tyler Fitzgerald: Joins team in Arizona
Fitzgerald could be recalled from Triple-A Sacramento prior to Monday's contest in Arizona, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Fitzgerald has a locker at Chase Field and appears set to take the roster spot of the injured Casey Schmitt (wrist). The 27-year-old has slashed just .230/.289/.320 for the Giants this season and has gone 4-for-13 at the plate since being demoted to Sacramento. Fitzgerald could see reps at second base for the Giants upon his recall.

Anthony Seigler 2B | BOS
Brewers' Anthony Seigler: Call-up pending
The Brewers are expected to call up Seigler from Triple-A Nashville, Francys Romero of BeisbolFR.com reported Sunday.
Seigler inked a minor league contract with the Brewers in November after spending seven seasons in the Yankees organization. The 26-year-old has slashed .277/.416/.465 with seven home runs and 20 stolen bases over 267 plate appearances with Nashville this season. He's split time between second base, third base and catcher this season. It'll be his MLB debut if he gets into a game.

Yanquiel Fernandez RF | NYY
Rockies' Yanquiel Fernandez: Slated for call-up
The Rockies are expected to recall Fernandez from Triple-A Albuquerque ahead of Tuesday's game against the Astros, Francys Romero of BeisbolFR.com reports.
Fernandez, 22, has slashed .284/.347/.502 with 13 home runs in 271 plate appearances with Albuquerque this season, and he'll now be rewarded with his first call-up to the big leagues. He's served exclusively as a right fielder and designated hitter in the minors this season, and he could find it difficult to earn steady playing time at either of those spots with both Mickey Moniak and Tyler Freeman thriving of late. Fernandez bats from the left side, so he won't profile as a potential platoon mate for the left-handed-hitting Moniak, who often sits against left-handed pitching.

Casey Schmitt LF | SF
Giants' Casey Schmitt: Trip to injured list expected
Schmitt is expected to require a stint on the 10-day injured list due to a bone bruise in his left wrist, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
An MRI on Schmitt's wrist came back negative, but he's still dealing with a painful bone bruise and could use additional down time. Tyler Fitzgerald has a locker at Chase Field and it sounds like he could be added to the roster in Schmitt's place prior to Monday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Josh Naylor 1B | SEA
Diamondbacks' Josh Naylor: Remains out of lineup
Naylor (neck) remains out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Giants.
Naylor will miss a third straight start after exiting Friday's game versus the Marlins with neck stiffness. He is considered day-to-day. Pavin Smith will serve as the Diamondbacks' first baseman and Lourdes Gurriel will be the designated hitter in Monday's series opener.
