  • Royals' Vinnie Pasquantino: Records first steal

Pasquantino went 1-for-5 with two RBI, one run scored and a stolen base in Friday's 9-2 win over the Tigers.

The steal was Pasquantino's first since his rookie year in 2022 -- he was on the back end of a double steal that saw Bobby Witt swipe third base. While there's virtually no speed in Pasquantino's game, he has swung a hot bat lately, going 21-for-55 (.381) over his last 13 games. For the season, he's at a .263/.319/.441 slash line with 14 home runs, 78 RBI, 49 runs scored, 24 doubles and two triples across 107 contests.

  • Mitch Haniger RF | SEA

Mariners' Mitch Haniger: Reaches 10-homer mark

Haniger went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Friday's 10-2 win over the Phillies.

Haniger produced his first multi-hit effort since June 14. He singled in the second inning and scored on a Luke Raley homer before going yard himself in the seventh inning for Seattle's last run of the game. Aside from the first few weeks of the season, Haniger has not been very consistent at the plate. He has a .209/.293/.347 slash line with 10 homers, 36 RBI, 34 runs scored and 11 doubles over 93 contests this season. He's still getting a decent share of playing time between right field and designated hitter, but Haniger's role could be reduced once Dominic Canzone (thigh) or Julio Rodriguez (ankle) returns from his respective injury.

  • Luke Raley RF | SEA

Mariners' Luke Raley: Hammers 12th homer

Raley went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Friday's 10-2 win over the Phillies.

Raley put the Mariners ahead 4-0 with his second-inning blast. That was just his third long ball over his last 23 contests. The 29-year-old was batting .261 at the end of June, but after hitting just .129 in July, he's at a .228 average for the year now. He's added a .698 OPS, 12 homers, nine stolen bases, 32 RBI and 37 runs scored across 95 games.

  • Victor Robles RF | SEA

Mariners' Victor Robles: Homer, steal in return

Robles went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a stolen base and an additional run scored in Friday's 10-2 win over the Phillies.

Robles returned from a one-game absence due to a hip issue, and he produced his fourth multi-hit effort in his last five games. He also logged his eight steal in 13 contests, which is likely a good sign the hip injury is behind him, though he did previously play through it. The outfielder is up to three homers, 14 thefts, eight RBI, 15 runs scored and a .308/.387/.452 slash line across 122 plate appearances in 2024.

  • Justin Turner DH | CHC

Mariners' Justin Turner: Lifts grand slam

Turner went 2-for-4 with a grand slam in Friday's 10-2 win over the Phillies.

Turner put an exclamation mark on the Mariners' seven-run second inning, hitting his first homer with the team since he was traded from the Blue Jays. The 39-year-old has gone 5-for-14 with six RBI across his first three games with Seattle, and that's been enough for him to take over a starting role at first base, though he served as the designated hitter Friday. Turner is slashing .261/.351/.382 with seven homers, 37 RBI, 38 runs scored and no stolen bases across 93 contests this season.

  • Bryan Woo SP | SEA

Mariners' Bryan Woo: Tosses seven scoreless innings

Woo (5-1) allowed five hits and struck out six without walking a batter over seven scoreless innings to earn the win Friday over the Phillies.

It was the first time all year Woo has completed seven frames, and it was also his fifth scoreless outing in 12 starts. He also got ample run support from the Mariners, who swatted four homers and put up 10 runs in the win over the National League's top team. Woo lowered his ERA to 2.08 with a 0.87 WHIP and 43:6 K:BB through 60.2 innings this season. His next start is projected to be at home versus the Tigers.

  • Athletics' Miguel Andujar: Three hits in Friday's win

Andujar went 3-for-4 with a triple, one RBI and one run scored in Friday's 6-5 win over the Dodgers.

Andujar put the Athletics ahead with an RBI triple in the fifth inning and scored on JJ Bleday's double. Since the All-Star break, Andujar has gone 19-for-54 (.351) with seven RBI over 13 contests. The outfielder is up to a .297/.325/.409 slash line with four home runs, 28 RBI, 27 runs scored and two stolen bases over 57 games this year. His triple Friday was his first since 2022.

  • Seth Brown LF | ATH

Athletics' Seth Brown: Slugs homer in win

Brown went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Friday's 6-5 win over the Dodgers.

Brown went 0-for-10 over his previous three games, but he was able to snap the slump with a fourth-inning blast Friday. The 32-year-old went 14-for-46 (.304) over 16 contests in July, but it was mostly in short bursts of production followed by slumps. For the season, he's sporting a .214/.274/.380 slash line with 10 homers, 24 RBI, 21 runs scored and four stolen bases across 80 games.

  • Jose Urena SP | LAA

Rangers' Jose Urena: Roughed up in loss

Urena (3-6) took the loss Friday against the Red Sox, allowing seven runs on eight hits and no walks over four innings. He struck out two.

The veteran right-hander made his first start since June 5, firing 69 total pitches in this outing. Despite entering with an impressive 2.84 ERA over 31.2 innings across six starts this season, Urena was knocked around by the Red Sox, yielding three extra-base hits en route to a season-worst seven runs. With Max Scherzer (shoulder) hitting the injured list Friday, Urena likely sticks in the Texas rotation for the time being. He lines up to face the Yankees on the road in his next start.

  • Athletics' Shea Langeliers: Pops homer in win

Langeliers went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 6-5 win over the Dodgers.

Langeliers' solo shot was his third homer over the last seven games. While he's making good contact -- he's added three doubles in that span -- he's also struck out nine times over those contests. The catcher is up to a .215/.272/.457 slash line with 21 homers, 57 RBI, 40 runs scored and four stolen bases over 93 games this season. He needs one more long ball to match his total from 135 games in 2023.
