Orioles' Kyle Bradish: Fans eight in no-decison

Bradish didn't factor into the decision Sunday against the Yankees, allowing two runs on five hits and two walks while striking out eight over four innings.

Bradish came out hot, striking out Trent Grisham to begin the day, but was tagged for a solo homer by Ben Rice before he could generate any more momentum. Later, three consecutive singles brought home another run in the fourth but the right-hander responded by striking out the side to escape further damage and keep Baltimore in the game. The 29-year-old has been sharp in limited action this season, never allowing more than two runs in any of his six starts while racking up a 13.2 K/9. Bradish posts a 2.53 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 47:10 K:BB across 32 innings.

Yankees' Luis Gil: Limits Orioles in no-decision

While the outing was effective overall, Gil failed to receive much run support from the offense, resulting in him missing out on the win. The reigning AL Rookie of the Year has only completed six innings in three of his 11 starts this season after making his debut Aug. 3, but he has only allowed more than two runs twice. Gil finishes the regular season with a 3.32 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 41:33 K:BB across 57 innings.

However, the right-hander quickly regained control, using five pitches to retire the next two batters and close out the game. The 30-year-old ends the year with a 2.82 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 57:21 K:BB across 67 innings of work.

  • Luke Jackson RP | SEA

Mariners' Luke Jackson: Strong results since joining M's

Jackson threw 1.1 clean innings of relief Sunday against the Dodgers, striking out two.

After fizzling out as the Rangers' closer to open the season and then failing to keep his roster spot with Detroit, Jackson has found his footing with the Mariners since joining the club in September. The veteran right-hander has given up no earned runs in eight of his 10 outings for Seattle, producing a 2.38 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 10:4 K:BB over 11.1 innings. • Kade Strowd RP | BAL

Orioles' Kade Strowd: Wraps up year with scoreless outing

Strowd threw one-third of an inning in relief Sunday against the Yankees.

Through 26.1 innings, the right-hander posted a 1.71 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 24:13 K:BB with five holds. It remains to be seen if the club will bring Strowd back for 2026, but he certainly made a good impression down the stretch.
