  • Yankees' Carlos Lagrange: Moving to bullpen at Triple-A

Lagrange is being moved to the bullpen at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Jack Curry of YES Network reports.

It's unclear whether this is a permanent move, but Lagrange's best chance to contribute to the Yankees this season is as a reliever. The hard-throwing righty has posted a 4.41 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 63:25 K:BB over 49 innings in 2026 at Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Per Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News, manager Aaron Boone said Tuesday that it will be "several weeks" before Lagrange is under consideration for the major-league bullpen, as he will have to go through a de-load period before being cleared for more frequent usage.

  • Brooks Kriske RP | ATH

Athletics' Brooks Kriske: Transferred to 60-day IL

The Athletics transferred Kriske (shoulder) to the 60-day injured list Tuesday.

The move clears a spot on the 40-man roster. Kriske remains shut down as he rehabs a right shoulder impingement, and now he's not eligible for activation until after the All-Star break.

  • Aaron Judge RF | NYY

Yankees' Aaron Judge: Managing shoulder/rib issue

Manager Aaron Boone said that Judge is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Guardians due to a bone bruise in his ribs that is causing soreness in his right shoulder, Brendan Kuty of The Athletic reports.

Judge has apparently been playing through the injury for a couple weeks, but the full extent of the issue wasn't known until he underwent medical imaging Monday after it worsened over the weekend. The veteran slugger should be considered day-to-day for now, but his status could be updated soon with Judge scheduled to be evaluated further Tuesday night.

  • Mason Barnett RP | ATH

Athletics' Mason Barnett: Recalled from Triple-A

The Athletics recalled Barnett from Triple-A Las Vegas on Tuesday.

Barnett made one scoreless relief appearance for the Athletics earlier this season but has spent most of the year in the rotation at Las Vegas, holding a 4.64 ERA and 41:26 K:BB over 42.2 innings. He could get a chance to make some starts for the Athletics, though the club has not yet clarified what Barnett's role will be.

  • Kade Morris SP | ATH

Athletics' Kade Morris: Officially added to roster

The Athletics selected Morris' contract from Triple-A Las Vegas on Tuesday.

Morris has put up a 4.45 ERA and 1.48 WHIP with 49 strikeouts over 60.2 innings in 11 starts with Las Vegas this season. The right-hander is expected to get an opportunity in the Athletics' rotation, though it's unclear when exactly his major-league debut will occur.

Athletics' Jacob Lopez: Optioned to Las Vegas

The Athletics optioned Lopez to Triple-A Las Vegas on Tuesday.

  • Michael Kelly RP | ATH

Athletics' Michael Kelly: Sent back down

The Athletics optioned Kelly to Triple-A Las Vegas on Tuesday.

Kelly made one appearance during his most recent stint in the majors and was bludgeoned for six runs while recording only two outs in that outing. He'll try to get back on track at Las Vegas.

  • Gleyber Torres 2B | DET

Tigers' Gleyber Torres: Reinstated, batting leadoff Tuesday

The Tigers activated Torres (oblique) from the 10-day injured list, and he's starting at second base and batting leadoff Tuesday against the Rays.

The 29-year-old has been on the shelf for the past month due to an oblique strain, but he's ready to rejoin the Tigers after a two-game rehab assignment.

  • Astros' Braden Shewmake: Out with adductor strain

The Astros placed Shewmake on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a right adductor strain.

Shewmake suffered the injury during Saturday's game versus the Brewers and was unable to make enough improvement to avoid the IL. He'll be eligible to return in mid-June, but it's the type of injury that could lead to an absence longer than the minimum.

  • Zach Cole LF | HOU

Astros' Zach Cole: Back with big club

The Astros recalled Cole from Triple-A Sugar Land on Tuesday.

Cole was sent down last week after putting up a .542 OPS and 1:21 BB:K in 18 contests, but he's getting another chance with the big club. The 25-year-old is not starting Tuesday's game against the Pirates, but he could see some reps in left field for Houston.
