The Yankees activated Hamilton (illness) from the 15-day injured list Tuesday, Greg Joyce of the New York Post reports.

An infection caused a late start to the season for Hamilton, but he's ready to rejoin the Yankees bullpen after making three rehab appearances. Hamilton should eventually work his way back into being a high-leverage reliever, but he might be eased into such situations.

Soderstrom went 2-for-3 with two solo home runs and a walk in a loss to the Padres on Monday.

Soderstrom first went deep with a 385-foot blast to right field in the third inning, then tacked on another homer with a 389-foot shot to right in the seventh. The third-year first baseman is off to a blistering start to the campaign, slashing .381/.435/.857 with six homers, 10 RBI and nine runs through 46 plate appearances. The six long balls are tied for the MLB lead with Aaron Judge, and Soderstrom is one of 18 players to have reached double-digit RBI to date.

Brash (elbow) is scheduled to throw a live batting practice session Wednesday, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

After throwing a bullpen session Saturday, Brash is set to take another step forward in his throwing program Wednesday. He was a candidate to join Triple-A Tacoma for game action this past weekend, but frigid weather conditions prevented Brash from going on his minor-league rehab assignment. The Mariners will likely decide if he's ready to do so following Wednesday's session, and the hard-throwing right-hander should still be able to rejoin Seattle's bullpen by early May at the latest.

Severino allowed five runs on eight hits and no walks while striking out three batters over seven innings in a loss to San Diego on Monday.

Severino got off to a rough start, surrendering three runs in the first inning. He then held the Padres to just one more run over the following five frames, but a Fernando Tatis solo homer in the seventh inning put him behind 5-3 upon his exit rom the game. Severino had trouble missing bats in the outing -- he notched just two whiffs among his 96 pitches -- but he at least continued to eat up innings for the A's, and he's now gone at least six frames in each of his first three starts. However, his record stands at 0-2, and he's given up four homers over 19 frames while posting a 4.74 ERA and 1.26 WHIP.

Polanco went 1-for-4 with a two-run single and a stolen base in Monday's 4-3 win over Houston.

After missing Seattle's previous two games with side soreness, Polanco delivered a go-ahead two-run single in the eighth inning to help power the Mariners to victory. The veteran switch-hitter has dealt with some nagging injuries in the early going, but he's been highly effective when healthy while hitting .417 with two long balls, 10 RBI and one stolen base over 24 at-bats (seven games).

Bliss went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run in Monday's 4-3 win over Houston.

Bliss crushed a two-run homer to left field that traveled 387 feet, putting the Mariners on the board in the fifth inning with his first long ball of the year. The 25-year-old won Seattle's second base job during spring training, having now started 10 of the club's first 11 games at the keystone, but he's slashing just .200/.294/.300 with three RBI and two stolen bases across 30 at-bats and has minimal fantasy appeal while functioning in the lower part of the batting order.

Altuve went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a stolen base and an additional run scored in Monday's 4-3 loss to Seattle.

Altuve played the role of spoiler Monday, breaking up Mariners right-hander Logan Gilbert's no-hit bid with a solo homer in the sixth inning. The star infielder-turned-outfielder is off to a sizzling start at the dish in 2025, batting .357 with three long balls and five RBI to go with nine runs scored and two stolen bases over 10 outings.

Bleday went 1-for-4 in Monday's 5-4 loss against San Diego. He's hitting just .175 (7-for-40) with a stolen base this season.

Belday has just one extra-base hit in 11 games as he's had a slow start to the season. However, he's showing a good eye at the plate (eight strikeouts and seven walks), so there shouldn't be too much concern that he can get on track.

Munoz picked up the save after throwing a clean ninth inning in Monday's 4-3 win over Houston. He struck out one.

The Mariners retook the lead via a Jorge Polanco two-run single in the eighth inning, setting up Munoz to work the ninth inning and make relatively quick work of the bottom of Houston's lineup on just 13 pitches (nine strikes). The hard-throwing right-hander has allowed four walks through five innings to open the campaign, but he's fanned eight and converted each of his first four save chances while producing a 0.00 ERA thus far.

Wesneski didn't factor into the decision Monday against Seattle after allowing two runs on three hits and no walks in seven innings, striking out five.

Wesneski was excellent Monday, tossing four scoreless innings to open the game before Ryan Bliss tagged him for a two-run homer in the fifth inning. The right-hander then threw two more clean frames thereafter to cap off a strong outing. Although Wesneski has a 3.75 ERA through two starts this year, he holds a superb 0.67 WHIP and 11:3 K:BB over 12.0 innings and should carry plenty of streaming appeal at home against the Angels in his next projected start this weekend.
