Brebbia (triceps) has resumed a throwing program, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

Brebbia just landed on the 15-day injured list this past weekend with a right triceps strain, so it's a good sign that he's already playing catch. The reliever will be eligible for activation May 4, and it would seem he has a shot to be ready at that time.

Williamson is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Red Sox.

The 24-year-old has a .217/.250/.391 slash line in six games since being promoted by the Mariners on April 13, and he'll hit the bench Tuesday after starting the previous three contests. Miles Mastrobuoni will receive the start at third base in place of Williamson.

Gipson-Long (elbow/hip) will throw a live batting practice session Thursday, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

It would appear to be the first time Gipson-Long has faced hitters since he underwent Tommy John surgery last April and left hip surgery last July. The right-hander could conceivably be ready to contribute for the Tigers around midseason, but he still has a long way to go in his rehab program.

Wong (finger) caught a bullpen session Tuesday, Jen McCaffrey of The Athletic reports.

Wong will continue to catch bullpen sessions and perform other baseball activities as he ramps things back up after suffering a fractured left pinky finger in early April. He could be back with the Red Sox by early May.

Waters will start in right field and bat eighth in Tuesday's game versus the Rockies.

It's the sixth straight start for Waters, who has played all three outfield positions during the stretch. The 26-year-old is just 4-for-18 at the plate over the previous five tilts, so he'll need to pick it up offensively if he hopes to continue seeing regular reps.

Garcia (elbow) played catch at Daikin Park on Tuesday, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

The right-hander was diagnosed with right elbow inflammation in early April, the latest in a series of setbacks suffered by Garcia as he comes back from May 2023 Tommy John surgery. Previous reports indicated that Garcia would remain shut down until early May, so it appears he might be a bit ahead of schedule. Still, it's way too soon for any sort of timetable for the righty to be established.

Perez (elbow) is not expected to return this season, Jesse Rogers of ESPN.com reports.

The specifics on Perez's left elbow injury remain scarce, with Rogers reporting only that the southpaw will not undergo Tommy John surgery. However, Rogers adds that Perez will not throw again until September, at the earliest, and after that long of a layoff he will not have time to make it back on a major-league mound in 2025. Perez will become a free agent this offseason after a $10 million mutual option for 2026 is officially declined.

McKinstry is not in the lineup for Tuesday's contest against the Padres.

It's a routine day off for McKinstry, who had started 12 of the previous 13 games for the Tigers. He'll yield to Justyn-Henry Malloy in left field Tuesday.

Keith is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Padres.

With Kerry Carpenter limited to designated hitter duty for now as he comes back from a hamstring issue and Spencer Torkelson deserving everyday playing time, Keith faces a playing-time squeeze in the short term. Torkelson is at first base versus righty Nick Pivetta on Tuesday.

Wells is absent from the lineup for Tuesday's game in Cleveland.

It's a routine day off for Wells, who started each of the previous three contests. J.C. Escarra will do the catching and bat eighth for the Yankees.
