Crim started at first base, batted eighth and went 0-for-3 in Friday's 13-1 loss to Seattle.

Crim made his MLB debut after having his contract selected from Triple-A Round Rock. After Texas optioned Jake Burger to the minors, there's an opportunity for someone to grab the first base job. Crim will be part of the mix. The 27-year-old has played 308 games at Round Rock since 2022 and is well past the point of being considered a prospect.

Jansen (0-1) took the loss Friday, surrendering six runs on six hits -- including three home runs -- in two-thirds of an inning as the Angels fell 9-1 to the Tigers. He struck out one.

Called upon in the ninth inning to keep the game level at 1-1, Jansen instead watched Riley Greene launch his third pitch into the right-field corner for a leadoff homer, followed quickly by another solo shot from Colt Keith and a two-run blast by Javier Baez. The veteran closer put two more runners aboard before getting the hook, and both of them came around to score with Jake Eder on the mound. Jansen still has yet to blow a save this season, going 6-for-6 in save chances, and he hadn't given up a run in eight appearances prior to Friday's disaster.

Holton (2-2) pitched a scoreless inning of relief to earn the win in Friday's 9-1 victory over the Angels. He struck out one.

Holton worked the eighth inning with the game tied 1-1, and then benefitted from an eight-run explosion by the Tigers in the ninth to earn his second win of the year. The lefty led all Detroit relievers with seven regular-season wins in 2024, and he also posted a strong 2.19 ERA across a team-high 94.1 innings out of the bullpen. Holton has been effective once again in 2025, registering a 2.76 ERA and 16 strikeouts through 16.1 innings so far.

Neto went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 9-1 loss to the Tigers.

He led off the bottom of the first inning by driving the first pitch he saw from Tarik Skubal into the rocks in straightaway center field at Angel Stadium, but it was all the offense the Halos could muster on the night. Neto has hit safely in eight straight games as he quickly makes up for his belated start to the season, batting .364 (12-for-33) during that streak with three doubles, three homers, four steals, four RBI and five runs.

Evans is listed as the Mariners' probable starter for Sunday's game against the Rangers in Arlington, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

Unsurprisingly, Evans will be in store for a second turn through the rotation after he fared well in his big-league debut against the Marlins last Sunday, permitting two earned runs on two hits and three walks while striking out three over five innings en route to picking up a win. With both Logan Gilbert (elbow) and George Kirby (shoulder) not expected to return from the injured list until late May, Evans should be in line for some additional starts beyond Sunday.

Schneemann entered Friday's game as a pinch runner for Jose Ramirez (ankle) and stayed in the game. He went 1-for-1 with a double and a run scored.

Schneemann replaced Ramirez on first base in the third inning and remained in game at second base while Gabriel Arias moved from second to third. The Guardians have described Ramirez's injury has a minor-grade sprain, which makes it sound like he won't miss much time.

Wilson is listed as the White Sox's starting pitcher for Sunday's game against the Astros in Chicago.

The White Sox could end up deploying Wilson behind an opening pitcher like they did in his last appearance in Tuesday's loss to the Brewers, but in any case, the right-hander will be making his third straight turn through the rotation. Wilson failed to reach four innings in both his start and bulk-relief appearance, but he's progressively pushing up his pitch count after having pitched exclusively in relief before recently moving into the rotation following Martin Perez's (elbow) placement on the injured list. After tossing 58 pitches against the Brewers, Wilson could be ready to handle a 65-to-75-pitch workload Sunday.

Skubal allowed one run on four hits over six innings but did not factor into the decision in Friday's 9-1 win over the Angels. He struck out eight without walking a batter.

Skubal pitched well, but Detroit didn't score until a single run came across in the seventh inning followed by eight more in the ninth. The lefty ace has been dominant once again in 2025, posting a stellar 2.21 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 10.6 K/9 across seven starts. The ERA would actually be a new career best for Skubal, as it's slightly below the 2.39 figure he posted during his 2024 AL Cy Young campaign. He'll look to keep rolling in his next outing, which is penciled in for Thursday against the Rockies at Coors Field.

Soriano came away with a no-decision in Friday's 9-1 loss to the Tigers, allowing six hits and a walk over six scoreless innings. He struck out five.

The right-hander went toe-to-toe with reigning AL Cy Young winner Tarik Skubal and actually came out on top, leaving the mound after 94 pitches (59 strikes) with the Halos ahead 1-0 before Kenley Jansen and the bullpen made a mess of things. Soriano has three quality starts in his seven trips to the mound, but his shaky starts have outweighed the good ones so far, leaving him with a 3.83 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 31:16 K:BB through 40 innings. He'll look to get back in the win column in his next outing, which lines up to come at home next week against the Blue Jays.

Baez went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's 9-1 win over the Angels.

After hitting zero home runs in his first 24 games this season, Baez has now gone deep in three straight. The 32-year-old, who has settled in as Detroit's primary center fielder recently, has had a nice bounce-back season with a .300 batting average and .804 OPS across 27 contests. Baez batted just .184 with a .515 OPS during the regular season in 2024.
