The Yankees recalled De Los Santos from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Tuesday.

De Los Santos spun two scoreless innings in his lone appearance with the Yankees last month. The right-hander will provide manager Aaron Boone with a fresh bullpen arm.

The Yankees designated Carrasco for assignment Tuesday.

Carrasco made the Yankees' Opening Day rotation as a non-roster invitee, but he went on to post a 5.91 ERA with just 25 strikeouts over 32 innings covering six starts and two relief appearances. There's a good chance Carrasco clears waivers, and if he does, he will have the ability to elect free agency.

The Mariners activated Moore (hip) from the 10-day injured list Tuesday.

Moore skipped a rehab assignment and will go directly back onto the active roster following a minimum stay on the IL. He will be in the Mariners' lineup most days in a super-utility role.

Noel is out of the lineup for Game 1 of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Nationals.

The 23-year-old was poised to sit for Monday's contest before it was postponed, and he'll remain on the bench Tuesday for the make-up game. It's his second straight game on the bench after starting five of the previous six contests. Noel is in the midst of a 4-for-31 slump, and he's struck out 13 times during that stretch.

Moncada (thumb) has gone 0-for-5 with a 2:4 K:BB in 10 plate appearances in his first two rehab games with Single-A Inland Empire.

Moncada is nearly a month removed from landing on the 10-day injured list with a right thumb sprain that he first suffered back in mid-March. It's not clear how many rehab games he'll need, nor is Moncada guaranteed to get his third-base job back when he returns. He posted a .656 OPS in eight tilts before going on the IL.

Walcott is slashing .245/.363/.372 with two home runs, six steals, a 14.2 percent walk rate and a 21.2 percent strikeout rate in 25 games for Double-A Frisco.

Even though he played five games at Double-A at the end of last year, Walcott, who turned 19 in March, is the second-youngest player at Double-A (behind Ethan Salas), and he's two years younger than the youngest pitcher at the level. He has plus-plus raw power, but Walcott has been making too much weak contact early on (34.5 IFFB%, 31.7 Soft%) as he gets adjusted to this challenging step up in competition. Walcott has yet to play a position in the field other than shortstop in 2025.

The Guardians recalled Kent from Triple-A Columbus on Tuesday, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

He'll be the club's 27th man for Tuesday's doubleheader versus the Nationals. Kent made his major-league debut with the Guardians last month, allowing one run over a three-inning relief appearance. He's likely to be returned to Columbus following the twin bill.

The Rays recalled Sulser from Triple-A Durham on Tuesday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

He'll absorb the roster spot vacated by Hunter Bigge (lat), who was placed on the 15-day injured list Tuesday. Sulser was roughed up for two runs on four hits and one walk over one inning in his lone appearance with the Rays earlier this season.

The Rays placed Bigge on the 15-day injured list Tuesday with a right lat strain, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

It's unclear when the injury occurred, but Bigge hadn't pitched since Thursday. He'll be eligible to return from the IL on May 18, but it's an injury type that typically results in longer than a 15-day absence. Cole Sulser was called up from Triple-A Durham to take Bigge's spot on the 26-man active roster.

Weaver (0-1) took the loss and blew a save opportunity against San Diego on Monday, allowing one run on two hits and a walk over one-third of an inning.

New York led 4-0 heading into the eighth inning, and manager Aaron Boone called upon demoted former closer Devin Williams to maintain the lead. Williams struggled, getting two strikeouts but allowing the Padres to load the bases. Weaver was then summoned to try to escape the jam but couldn't do so -- the first two batters he faced each got a hit, pushing four runs across the plate, though three of those were charged to Williams. Weaver then walked a batter before finally getting the out he needed to end the frame, but his poor outing allowed San Diego to take the lead and resulted in his first blown save of the campaign. The run charged to Weaver was also the first he has allowed this season, and given his overall excellence and Williams' continued struggles, it's likely Weaver will continue to work as the Yankees' closer, at least in the short term.
