Mullins (rest) is starting and playing center field for Wednesday's game against the Cardinals, Jacob Calvin Meyer of The Baltimore Sun reports.

The Orioles rested Mullins in back-to-back games to begin the week, but he'll be back in the lineup for Wednesday's series finale against St. Louis. Mullins is slashing .226/.320/.446 in 203 plate appearances this season.

Manager Tony Mansolino said that Rutschman will be in the lineup at designated hitter for Wednesday's game against the Cardinals, Jacob Calvin Meyer of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Rutschman missed back-to-back games after taking a foul tip to the mask Sunday, but the catcher will avoid a stint on the IL and has been cleared to return to the lineup. It's unclear if Rutschman will need multiple games at DH before being put back behind the dish.

The Rangers optioned Crim to Triple-A Round Rock on Wednesday.

Crim was called up from Round Rock on Monday but didn't see any game action. He'll yield his spot on the 26-man roster to Corey Seager (hamstring), who's being activated from the 10-day injured list. Crim has logged a .905 OPS in 180 plate appearances at Triple-A.

Seager (hamstring) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list ahead of Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays.

Seager has been idle since May 11 due to a right hamstring strain, and after a brief stint on the injured list, he's been cleared to rejoin the active roster. The Rangers optioned Blaine Crim to Triple-A Round Rock in a corresponding move. Seager is slashing .300/.346/.520 with six homers, 15 runs and 12 RBI over 107 plate appearances this season.

Bradish (elbow) said Wednesday he's about halfway through his bullpen progression and is hoping to throw live BP in early July, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

Bradish's recovery from Tommy John surgery continues to go smoothly, and he's set a target goal for the next step in his progression. If he begins facing live hitters in early July and goes out on a minor-league rehab assignment shortly thereafter, he could be back with the Orioles in August.

Kwan exited Wednesday's game against the Dodgers due to right wrist inflammation, Chris Assenheimer of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.

Nolan Jones replaced Kwan in left field to start the fourth inning, and we now know wrist inflammation is the reason for Kwan's departure. He can be considered day-to-day moving forward. The Guardians are off Thursday before starting a three-game homestand against the Angels on Friday.

Kwan was removed from Wednesday's game against the Dodgers for unknown reasons, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

Kwan was replaced by Nolan Jones in left field following the third inning, but it's unclear what prompted the change. Considering Kwan's everyday role and elite production, it's likely due to some injury or illness. We'll likely receive an update later Wednesday.

Moncada went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Yankees on Tuesday.

The Angels entered the ninth inning on the verge of being shut out, but Moncada got the team on the board with a solo blast off Devin Williams. The long ball was his first extra-base hit over his past four games, a stretch in which he's gone 2-for-14 at the plate. Moncada continues to work as the Angels' primary third baseman, and despite a .222 batting average, he's done some positive things at the plate, including recording five homers and 18 RBI along with a 12.6 percent walk rate over 27 contests.

The Orioles optioned Hiraldo to Triple-A Norfolk on Wednesday.

Hiraldo had his contract selected Saturday and made his MLB debut, throwing 1.1 scoreless innings Tuesday. Matt Bowman had his contract selected from Triple-A in a corresponding move.

The Orioles selected Bowman's contract from Triple-A Norfolk on Wednesday.

Bowman was booted from the 40-man roster May 8 after logging a 5.19 ERA in 16 appearances out of the bullpen to start the season. The 34-year-old will rejoin the bullpen in Baltimore, taking Yaramil Hiraldo's spot on the active roster.
