Will Wagner DH | SD
Blue Jays' Will Wagner: Makes return to Triple-A lineup
Wagner (foot) went 3-for-10 with three doubles, one RBI and one run in two games for Triple-A Buffalo since being reinstated from the 7-day injured list Friday.
Before rejoining Buffalo over weekend, Wagner hadn't played for the Blue Jays' top affiliate since May 10 after fouling a ball off of his foot. The 26-year-old infielder was productive in his return to the Buffalo lineup and should continue to handle an everyday role at Triple-A with the hope of performing well enough to earn another look in the big leagues.

Giancarlo Stanton DH | NYY
Yankees' Giancarlo Stanton: Set to make season debut Monday
Stanton (elbows) will be activated from the 60-day injured list and included in the lineup for Monday's game against the Angels, Andy Martino of SNY.tv reports.
Stanton is finally set to make his season debut after recovering from tendinitis in both elbows. He might not play every day right away after a lengthy layoff, but Stanton is likely to see the bulk of the starts at designated hitter over the long haul. Stanton's arrival could leave fewer at-bats to go around for Ben Rice, Paul Goldschmidt, Jasson Dominguez and Trent Grisham.

Mason Englert RP | TB
Rays' Mason Englert: Bound for Triple-A
The Rays optioned Englert to Triple-A Durham on Monday.
Despite tossing 4.1 scoreless innings over his two relief appearances following his promotion from Durham last Tuesday, Englert will return to the Triple-A club while the Rays make room on the active roster for newly acquired right-hander Forrest Whitley. Englert has covered 22.1 innings over 13 appearances in his multiple stints in the majors this season, pitching to a 4.84 ERA, 1.39 WHIP and 22:4 K:BB.

Ernie Clement 2B | TOR
Blue Jays' Ernie Clement: Three more hits Sunday
Clement went 3-for-4 with two runs scored in Sunday's loss to the Phillies.
Getting the start at shortstop while Bo Bichette received a break from defensive duties as the DH, Clement extended his hitting streak to seven games. The 29-year-old super-utility player has seen time at every infield position this season, and Clement's hot bat has made him a fixture in the lineup of late -- he's hit safely in 15 of his last 18 contests, slashing .389/.397/.625 over that stretch with eight doubles, three homers, seven RBI and 14 runs.

Adam Macko RP | TEX
Blue Jays' Adam Macko: Back in action at Buffalo
Macko (knee) has allowed four earned runs on four hits and seven walks while striking out eight over seven innings in two starts since being reinstated from Triple-A Buffalo's 7-day injured list June 7.
The 24-year-old southpaw began the season on the IL while completing his recovery from knee surgery, but Macko still has plenty of rust to work off. He's issued at least three free passes in both his starts for Buffalo, and while he's currently on the same pitching schedule as the struggling Bowden Francis, Macko doesn't yet seem like a viable option for the big-league rotation.

Gus Varland RP | WAS
White Sox's Gus Varland: On mend from injury
Triple-A Charlotte placed Varland on its 7-day injured list March 31 due to an unspecified injury.
Varland made just one appearance for Charlotte before landing on the shelf less than a week into the season. The right-hander looks to be closing in on his return to the Charlotte bullpen, however, as he began a rehab assignment in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League last week. Varland retains a spot on the White Sox's 40-man roster, so he could be in the mix for a promotion to the big club later on this season if he can get healthy and pitch well at Charlotte over an extended stretch.

Tanner Schobel SS | MIN
Twins' Tanner Schobel: Out with fractured forearm
Schobel was placed on the 7-day injured list at Triple-A St. Paul due to a fractured right forearm, TwinsDaily.com reports.
Schobel was hitting .229/.357/.429 with a home run in 11 games since being promoted to Triple-A. The 68th overall pick in the 2022 First-Year Player Draft was promoted after hitting .295/.375/.470 with seven home runs and seven stolen bases in 49 games at Double-A Wichita. He'll likely be out several months.

James McArthur RP | KC
Royals' James McArthur: Resumes throwing
McArthur (elbow) was cleared to resume playing catch a few times per week earlier this month, MLB.com reports.
McArthur has made limited progress since undergoing surgery in the offseason to address an olecranon fracture in his right elbow, but he's at least begun a throwing program after being shut down for the past several months. The right-hander has multiple checkpoints to hit during the rehab process before making his return from the 60-day injured list at some point during the second half of the season.

Hunter Harvey RP | CHC
Royals' Hunter Harvey: Cleared to continue progression
Harvey (shoulder) was cleared to continue playing catch after a positive re-evaluation Wednesday, MLB.com reports.
Harvey had already been playing catch every other day for the past few weeks while he works his way back from a right teres major strain, and he now looks poised to increase the intensity and distance of his throwing sessions before eventually graduating to mound work. The veteran reliever has been on the shelf since April 11 and isn't expected to return from the 60-day injured list until July.

Alec Marsh RP | KC
Royals' Alec Marsh: Resumes mound work
Marsh (shoulder) resumed throwing bullpen sessions at the end of May and has continued his throwing progression at the Royals' spring training facility in Arizona, MLB.com reports.
The report doesn't specify whether Marsh has resumed facing hitters yet, but that will be the next step in his progression once he gets enough bullpen sessions under his belt. The right-hander has been on the shelf all season after suffering from shoulder soreness early in spring training and then experiencing a setback in early April. Marsh posted a 4.53 ERA and 1.26 WHIP over 129 innings across 26 appearances (25 starts) with the Royals in 2024, but the big club may not have a spot available for him in the rotation once he's ready to return from the 60-day injured list, likely at some point in July.
