Quero was ejected from Monday's game against the Diamondbacks, Jack Ankony of SI.com reports. He went 1-for-3 with a double before exiting.

Quero struck out looking in the bottom of the sixth inning and had some words for the umpire afterward, resulting in his removal from the matchup. Despite an early exit, he managed to pick up his first base knock since Tuesday and his first extra-base hit since May 26.

Latz will start Tuesday's game against the Orioles, Jeff Wilson of AllDLLS.com reports.

Latz was technically available out of the bullpen for Monday's 6-0 loss to the Orioles, but the Rangers stayed away from him so that he'll be available to take the hill Tuesday for his second start of the season. The left-hander tossed 5.2 innings and 82 pitches in his most recent relief appearance Thursday against the Royals, so Latz will likely be operating as a traditional starter Tuesday rather than leading off a bullpen game. He's expected to head back to the bullpen after Tuesday's outing, as the Rangers are likely to get Nathan Eovaldi (triceps) back from the injured list later this week.

Wells (shoulder) was activated from the 7-day injured list Saturday.

The right-hander's stay on the injured list was a brief one, as he was able to bounce back from right shoulder inflammation quickly. Wells fared well in his first outing since suffering the injury, surrendering one run on four hits while striking out one over three innings Saturday against Double-A Erie.

Kjerstad (knee) went 0-for-4 in Sunday's game against Triple-A Memphis.

Kjerstad was out of the lineup for a few days over the weekend after fouling a ball off his right knee, but he's managed to avoid a trip to the 7-day injured list. The Arkansas product was demoted to Triple-A on June 10 and is batting .167 with one home run, two RBI and three runs scored in five games since.

Estes (undisclosed) allowed one walk and struck out three over three innings Saturday against Triple-A Sugar Land.

Estes missed five weeks while dealing with an unspecified injury, but he looked incredibly sharp in his return. He's posted an impressive 2.86 ERA and 1.14 WHIP with a 20:7 K:BB over his last five starts for the Aviators.

Triple-A Charlotte placed Nastrini on the 7-day injured list Thursday due to an unspecified injury.

Nastrini made eight starts for the White Sox as a rookie in 2024, and though he still has a spot on the organization's 40-man roster, he's pitched exclusively in the minors in 2025. The right-hander posted a 7.24 ERA through his first seven outings of the season at Charlotte and hadn't displayed much improvement since shifting to the bullpen in early May. Nastrini had turned in a 5.94 ERA, 1.56 WHIP and 24:16 K:BB in 16.2 innings over his last 11 appearances prior to landing on the shelf.

Jones has a 1.513 OPS with five home runs, 11 RBI, 12 runs and two stolen bases in his past 10 games with Double-A Somerset.

Jones was named the Eastern League Player of the Week on Monday for his recent production at the plate. The 2022 first-round draft choice's 10-game tear includes an 18.2 percent walk rate and 20.5 percent strikeout rate, with the latter mark representing a substantial improvement over his 33.3 percent rate on the season. Jones has 15 home runs, 10 steals and a .994 OPS over 46 contests in Double-A this season, and a promotion to Triple-A could be coming in the near future.

Varland (undisclosed) has given up one earned run on one hit and two walks while striking out four over 2.1 innings in his two relief appearances for Triple-A Charlotte since being reinstated from the 7-day injured list Tuesday.

Varland missed two and a half months of action due to the undisclosed injury, but he's healthy again and will look to put together a slew of quality relief performances to earn a call-up to the big leagues. He posted a 3.42 ERA over 26.1 innings in 2024 between stops in the majors with the Dodgers and White Sox a season ago.

Benintendi is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Diamondbacks.

The White Sox will give the lefty-hitting Benintendi the night off while southpaw Eduardo Rodriguez takes the hill for Arizona in the series opener. Austin Slater will get the start in left field in place of Benintendi, who is slashing .243/.270/.457 with two home runs, seven RBI and seven runs through his first 19 games of June.

Capra will start at third base and bat ninth in Monday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Capra has been with the White Sox since he was claimed off waivers from the Brewers on May 15, but he'll be picking up just his 10th start Monday. With southpaw Eduardo Rodriguez on the hill for Arizona, the right-handed-hitting Capra will be filling in for the left-handed-hitting Josh Rojas in the White Sox infield.
