Noda is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Though he'll hit the bench while the Diamondbacks send southpaw Eduardo Rodriguez to the hill, the left-handed-hitting Noda has been a regular in the White Sox lineup against right-handed pitching since he was claimed off waivers from the Red Sox on June 13. Noda started in seven of the previous eight games but went 2-for-19 with five walks and 12 strikeouts. Edgar Quero will replace him at designated hitter Monday.

Tauchman (groin) is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Tauchman will miss out on a fourth consecutive start and hasn't been used off the bench in the last three contests after he tweaked his groin while running the bases in the second game of Thursday's doubleheader versus the Cardinals. Per MLB.com, Tauchman was scheduled to do some running and take part in other baseball activities prior to Monday's contest, and the White Sox will wait and see how his groin responds before determining if he'll be available off the bench in the series opener.

Arroyo has been promoted from High-A Everett to Double-A Arkansas, Adam Jude of The Seattle Times reports.

Arroyo will be bumped up a level after slashing .269/.422/.512 with 15 home runs and three stolen bases over 65 contests with Everett, which includes a .309/.454/.599batting line since the start of May. He will play the entirety of the 2025 season at just 20 years of age, but Arroyo appears ready to be tested in the Texas League.

Montes has been promoted from High-A Everett to Double-A Arkansas, Adam Jude of The Seattle Times reports.

Montes earned the promotion after slashing .268/.387/.572 with 18 home runs in 67 games with Everett. The left-handed-batter did strike out at a 27.6 percent clip with Everett and also hit only .212/.307/.455 versus left-handed pitching, so he's not a finished product. However, Montes has some of the best power of any hitting prospect in baseball and will now get to test himself at the Double-A for the first time.

Narvaez is not in the Red Sox's starting lineup against the Angels on Monday, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.

Narvaez will take a seat after going 2-for-10 with one double and five strikeouts in two starts during the Red Sox's three-game weekend road series against the Giants. Connor Wong will serve behind home plate and bat eighth.

Latz appears tentatively scheduled to start Tuesday's game in Baltimore, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Dane Dunning is also an option to start Tuesday, but the Rangers appear prepared to have Latz open the contest as long as he isn't needed out of the bullpen in Monday's series opener. Fifteen of Latz's 16 appearances this season have come out of the bullpen, but he covered 5.2 innings and threw 82 pitches in his most recent relief appearance Thursday against the Royals, so he's stretched out enough to provide length Tuesday. With Nathan Eovaldi (triceps) expected back from the injured list later this week, Latz will likely be in line for just one turn through the Texas rotation.

The Angels recalled Paris from Triple-A Salt Lake on Monday.

He's taking the roster spot vacated by Kevin Newman, who was placed on the paternity list. Paris has slashed only .188/.340/.363 since being demoted to Salt Lake in late May and will likely be with the big club only until Newman returns later this week.

He'll likely miss the entirety of the Angels' three-game series against the Red Sox before returning for the weekend set versus the Nationals. Kyren Paris is absorbing Newman's roster spot.

O'Hoppe is absent from the lineup for Monday's game against the Red Sox.

It appears to be a routine day off for O'Hoppe, who started at catcher in each of the previous two contests. Travis d'Arnaud will be behind the dish and bat fifth for the Halos in the series opener.

Orioles interim manager Tony Mansolino said that Westburg (finger) could return to the lineup as soon as Tuesday against the Rangers, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Westburg is still undergoing treatment and will miss a second straight start Monday due to a sprained left index finger, but the expectation is that he will avoid a stint on the 10-day injured list. Mansolino anticipates Westburg to be back in the lineup by Friday, at the latest.
