Torkelson went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 6-2 loss to the Blue Jays.

Torkelson took Toronto starter Jose Berrios deep in the sixth inning for his 23rd home run of the season. After hitting zero homers in his first six games after the All-Star break, the slugger has now gone deep on consecutive days. Torkelson is known to be a streaky power hitter, so fantasy managers could be in for a homer binge at the moment.

Montero (4-3) allowed six runs (five earned) on nine hits across four innings to take the loss Friday against the Blue Jays. He struck out three.

Montero ran into a hot Toronto team and continued his recent stretch of poor performances. Over his last three outings, he's been tagged for 12 earned runs across 11.1 innings. In his three prior starts, Montero had looked a lot better, allowing just four earned runs over 16 innings. Overall, the 25-year-old has a 4.66 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 53 strikeouts across 73.1 innings this year. With Troy Melton getting called up for his MLB debut Wednesday. the Tigers could have some competition for the No. 5 spot in their rotation moving forward. That could squeeze Montero out, though he's also a candidate to start again in the near future if Melton struggles or if another starter sustains an injury.

Berrios (7-4) picked up the win Friday in a 6-2 victory over the Tigers, allowing two runs on five hits and two walks over six innings. He struck out six.

The veteran righty needed 85 pitches (54 strikes) to record his 13th quality start of the season, and sixth in 10 outings since the beginning of June. Over that stretch, Berrios has produced a 3.79 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 43:16 K:BB through 57 innings. He'll look to keep rolling in his next trip to the mound, which is scheduled to come on the road next week in Baltimore.

Bello (6-5) took the loss Friday as the Red Sox fell 5-2 to the Dodgers, giving up three runs on six hits and two walks over 5.1 innings. He struck out five.

The right-hander didn't get much run support, but Bello didn't help his own cause in a shaky third inning that included a bases-loaded walk to Teoscar Hernandez after three straight singles. The outing snapped Bello's quality start streak at three, and it's only the second time in 10 trips to the mound since the beginning of June that he hasn't lasted six innings, a stretch in which he's delivered a 3.00 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 50:15 K:BB over 63 innings. Bello will look for a better result in his next start, which lines up to come on the road next week in Minnesota.

Wong went 1-for-3 with a double and a run scored in Friday's 5-2 loss to the Dodgers.

One month after logging his first RBI of the season, Wong recorded his first extra-base hit. He led off the third with a double off the wall in left and scored Boston's first run. Wong's slashing .151/.231/.161 over 37 games. Per Sean McAdam of MassLive.com, the Red Sox have some interest in adding a catcher at the trade deadline as a Wong replacement. Wong was Boston's catching leader the last two seasons but lost the job to Carlos Narvaez early in 2025 when he landed on the injured list with a finger injury.

Wells isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Phillies.

Wells will rest his legs Saturday after hitting his 15th home run of the season during Friday's loss. Ben Rice will take his place behind the plate and bat sixth for the Yankees.

Judge isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Phillies.

Judge will miss out on the starting nine for only the second time this season after going 1-for-13 with a home run and three RBI across New York's last four games. Jasson Dominguez, Trent Grisham and Cody Bellinger will start across the outfield while Judge rests.

Wells went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 12-5 loss to the Phillies.

The Yankees slugged four homers on the night but all four were solo shots, including Wells' long ball in the second inning off Taijuan Walker. The 26-year-old backstop has supplied his usual power in July but not much else, slashing .229/.255/.521 over 14 contests with four of his 15 homers on the year, and 10 of his 55 RBI.

Haggerty went 2-for-5 with a double, a stolen base, an RBI and a run scored in Friday's 8-3 win over Atlanta.

Haggerty singled to lead off the first inning, stole his 10th base of the season and scored the Rangers' first run. He later doubled in the team's fourth run. Haggerty was activated from the 10-day injured list Friday and was in the starting lineup against a left-hander. He normally has has a spot in the lineup against southpaws.

Warren didn't factor into the decision in Friday's 12-5 loss to the Phillies, allowing two runs on five hits and three walks over 5.2 innings. He struck out seven.

The right-hander fired 57 of 89 pitches for strikes as he fell one out short of his fourth quality start of the season, and Warren really made just one mistake, which Kyle Schwarber ripped over the right-center field fence for a two-run blast in the fifth inning. Warren has walked multiple batters in seven straight outings, a stretch in which he's stumbled to a 4.79 ERA, 1.65 WHIP and 34:21 K:BB over 35.2 innings. He'll be a volatile fantasy option in his next start, which is scheduled to come at home next week against the Rays.
