  • Yankees' Will Warren: Fans eight in Saturday's loss

Warren (7-2) took the loss Saturday, giving up six runs (two earned) on eight hits and two walks over 5.2 innings as the Yankees fell 10-2 to the Reds. He struck out eight. A Ben Rice error at first base led to a four-run fifth inning by Cincy, cushioning the blow to Warren's ratios, but he was still hit hard -- six of the eight hits off him went for extra bases, including a three-run homer by Spencer Steer. The right-hander got lifted after 90 pitches (61 strikes) and one out shy of his sixth quality start of the season. Warren will take a 3.45 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 84:26 K:BB through 78.1 innings into his next outing, which is scheduled to come on the road next weekend in Boston.

  • Yankees' Will Warren: Goes four innings Sunday

Warren did not factor into the decision Sunday against the Blue Jays, allowing two runs on eight hits and three walks over four innings. He struck out one. While Warren managed to work his way around significant damage Sunday, he'd make it through only four innings after throwing 98 pitches. The right-hander has failed to make it through five innings in consecutive starts after posting a 2.78 ERA over 22.2 innings over his previous four outings. Overall, Warren is 7-1 with a 3.47 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 76:24 K:BB across 14 starts (72.2 innings) this season. He's currently lined up to face the Reds at home in his next outing.

  • Yankees' Will Warren: Steps back with short outing Monday

Warren allowed three runs (two earned) on three hits and two walks while striking out five batters over 4.1 innings in a no-decision against Cleveland on Monday. Warren came into Monday having tossed back-to-back six-inning quality starts, but he wasn't able to get out of the fifth frame against the Guardians. Most of the damage against the right-hander came in the third, when Cleveland put up three runs on three hits, a walk, a wild pitch and an error. Though Warren didn't give up any more runs thereafter, he ran his pitch count up throughout the contest and was at 91 pitches when he departed. While this was far from his best outing, Warren did manage to give up fewer than three earned runs for the 11th time across his 13 starts. That has him at a healthy 3.28 ERA along with a 1.19 WHIP and 75:21 K:BB over 68.2 innings on the season.

  • Yankees' Will Warren: Earns seventh win Sunday

Warren (7-1) earned the win Sunday, allowing three runs (none earned) on six hits and three walks over six innings in a 13-8 victory over the Athletics. He struck out five. Facilitated by a Trent Grisham error, Warren was charged with three unearned runs in the first inning but settled in nicely afterward, firing five scoreless frames. Sunday marked the right-hander's second consecutive quality start and fifth of the season. Warren will carry a 3.22 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 70:19 K:BB across 64.1 innings (12 outings) into his next start, which is tentatively scheduled for Saturday against the Red Sox.

  • Yankees' Will Warren: Delivers quality start Monday

Warren did not factor into the decision Monday against the Royals, allowing two runs on three hits and three walks while striking out three over six innings. Warren battled some command trouble early, walking three batters in the second inning to load the bases before a sacrifice fly brought home Kansas City's first run. The right-hander settled in nicely afterward, retiring 11 of the next 13 hitters he faced before Salvador Perez tied the game with a solo homer in the sixth inning. Warren continues to consistently limit damage, now holding opponents to two or fewer runs in nine of his 11 starts this season. He owns a 3.55 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 65:16 K:BB across 58.1 innings and is lined up for a matchup against the Athletics on Sunday, his second start of the week.

  • Yankees' Will Warren: Collects sixth win of 2026

Warren (6-1) earned the win against the Blue Jays on Tuesday, allowing three runs on six hits and one walk while striking out three across five innings. Warren was impressive for most of Tuesday's start, retiring eight consecutive batters from the first to third innings. He was shaky in the fourth frame, however, yielding three runs on four hits (all singles) and a walk, though he came back out to finish the fifth and ended his night tossing 54 strikes on 86 pitches with nine whiffs and eight groundouts. Warren has picked up the win in five of his last six starts and has a 3.61 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 62:13 K:BB across 52.1 innings this season. He's lined up to face the Rays at home this weekend.

  • Yankees' Will Warren: Snags fifth win

Warren (5-1) picked up the win Tuesday, giving up two runs on four hits and a walk over 5.2 innings in a 6-2 victory over the Orioles. He struck out six. The right-hander blanked Baltimore through five innings but fell just short of his fourth quality start of the season, getting lifted after 96 pitches (62 strikes) when three hits -- including two doubles -- led to the first runs of the game for the O's. Warren has been racking up wins of late, going 4-1 over his last five starts with a 4.03 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 39:6 K:BB through 29 innings as he builds his case to remain in the rotation when Gerrit Cole (elbow) comes off the IL before the end of the month. Warren is scheduled to make his next trip to the mound at home early next week against the Blue Jays.

  • Yankees' Will Warren: Rare dud in first loss

Warren (4-1) took the loss Wednesday against the Rangers, allowing six runs on seven hits and three walks in four innings. He struck out seven. The 26-year-old right-hander didn't give up more than two earned runs in any of his first seven starts, but he ran into tough sledding Wednesday. Warren tied a season worst in hits allowed, served up multiple home runs for the first time this year and even matched a season high in walks. It remains to be seen if Warren, who has a strong 3.46 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 53:11 K:BB across 41.2 innings, will hang onto his rotation spot once the Yankees get Carlos Rodon (elbow) and Gerrit Cole (elbow) back, but he's tentatively slated to face the Orioles in his next trip to the hill.

  • Yankees' Will Warren: Picks up third win

Warren (3-0) earned the win Friday, allowing two runs on seven hits and one walk over six innings in a 12-4 victory over the Astros. He struck out six. The right-hander surrendered single tallies in the fourth and sixth frames but otherwise kept Houston off the board to produce his second consecutive quality start and victory. Warren has given up two earned runs or fewer in each of his six outings this season, resulting in a 2.59 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 37:7 K:BB through 31.1 innings.

  • Yankees' Will Warren: Fans six en route to first win

Warren (1-0) allowed two runs on four hits over 5.2 innings Friday to collect the win in the Yankees' 8-2 victory over the Marlins. He struck out six without walking a batter. The right-hander was lifted one out short of a quality start after giving up a pair of singles in the sixth with the Yankees ahead 4-2. Warren fired 47 of 77 pitches for strikes, and the two runs he did give up came on solo shots by Xavier Edwards in the first inning and Owen Caissie in the fifth. Warren will take a 2.70 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 9:2 K:BB through 10 innings into his next start, which is set to come at home next week against the A's.

  • Yankees' Will Warren: Keeps Giants in check

Warren took a no-decision Saturday against the Giants, allowing one run on five hits and two walks in 4.1 innings. He struck out three. The right-hander labored a bit in his first appearance of the season, as he was unable to complete five frames despite firing 83 pitches. It was still a fine showing overall for Warren, who topped out at 97 mph on his fastball and generated 10 whiffs Saturday. The right-hander should be locked into a rotation spot for at least the first month of the campaign, as Gerrit Cole (elbow) and Carlos Rodon (elbow) are sidelined, and Warren is lined up for a favorable home matchup next week versus the Marlins.

  • Yankees' Will Warren: Continues standout spring

Warren completed four-plus innings in a Grapefruit League game against Tampa Bay on Tuesday, allowing one run on three hits and one walk while striking out four batters. Warren retired 12 of the first 14 batters he faced and shut out the Rays through four frames. He returned for the fifth and gave up back-to-back singles before being pulled, and one of those baserunners scored following the right-hander's departure. Warren has looked great this spring, posting a 1.77 ERA, 0.74 WHIP and 16:3 K:BB over 20.1 innings spanning five starts. He's locked into the Yankees' rotation to begin the campaign, and if he continues pitching well into the regular season, he could stick as part of the starting staff even after Gerrit Cole (elbow) and Carlos Rodon (elbow) return to action.

  • Yankees' Will Warren: Suffers tough-luck loss

Warren (8-8) took the loss against the Orioles on Friday, allowing three runs (one earned) on four hits and two walks with four strikeouts over 5.1 innings. Warren gave up a solo shot in the second inning but was otherwise steady, with two unearned runs in the sixth stemming from a pair of Orioles errors. Despite getting tagged for six runs last Sunday, the 26-year-old has now held opponents to two earned runs or fewer in four of his past five starts while working at least five frames each time. He'll take a 4.35 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 164:64 K:BB across 157.1 innings into a projected home matchup with the White Sox next week.

  • Yankees' Will Warren: Ambushed in first inning

Warren (8-7) allowed six runs on 10 hits and one walk while striking out two over five innings to take the loss Sunday versus the Red Sox. Warren was tagged for six of the 10 hits during the first inning, when he gave up all six runs as the Red Sox sent their entire lineup to the plate. The right-hander was able to grind out four more frames, but the Yankees' comeback effort fell short. Warren has struggled against the Yankees' archrivals this year, allowing a total of 15 runs over 14.1 innings in three starts against the Red Sox. Overall, he has a 4.44 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 160:62 K:BB through 152 innings over 31 starts. Warren will look to right the ship in his next start, which is tentatively projected to be at Baltimore.

  • Yankees' Will Warren: Quality start wasted Tuesday

Warren came away with a no-decision in Tuesday's 12-2 loss to the Tigers, allowing two runs on two hits and a walk over six innings. He struck out five. The right-hander made only one real mistake over 91 pitches (59 strikes), which resulted in a two-run homer by Parker Meadows in the fifth inning, and Warren left the mound with the score tied 2-2 before the Yankees' bullpen melted down in the seventh. It was his first quality start since Aug. 11 and his sixth of the season, and Warren continues to supply New York with reliable outings, posting a 2.97 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 30:10 K:BB over 36.1 innings since the beginning of August. He lines up to make his next start in a crucial AL East road matchup this weekend against the Red Sox.

  • Yankees' Will Warren: Logs no-decision Wednesday

Warren allowed two runs on five hits and no walks while striking out four batters over five-plus innings in a no-decision against Houston on Wednesday. Warren had a 4-1 lead heading into the sixth, but he was pulled after giving up a leadoff homer to Jeremy Pena in that frame. New York's bullpen went on to allow the Astros to eventually take the lead, preventing Warren from earning his second straight win. Still, this was a promising result for the right-hander, who has given up two or fewer runs in seven of his past eight starts. He has a 2.79 ERA during that span, lowering his overall mark to 4.28 on the season.

  • Yankees' Will Warren: Overcomes defensive miscue

Warren (8-6) allowed four unearned runs on five hits and two walks while striking out three over five innings to earn the win over the White Sox on Thursday. An Anthony Volpe error in the second inning ultimately led to a Miguel Vargas grand slam. Those were all the runs on Warren's line, and they were all unearned, leading to no damage on his ERA, though he was limited to five innings and 93 pitches (51 strikes). It's an improvement on Warren's last two starts, when he failed to reach the five-inning mark altogether. He's allowed 12 runs (six earned) across 13.2 innings over his last three outings. On the season, he has a 4.30 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 149:60 K:BB through 136 innings over 28 starts. The right-hander is projected for a road start versus Houston next week.

  • Yankees' Will Warren: Bounced by BoSox

Warren (7-6) took the loss in Saturday's 12-1 rout at the hands of the Red Sox, coughing up five runs on seven hits and three walks over four innings. He struck out three. The 26-year-old right-hander may be wearing down as he approaches the final month of his first full big-league campaign. Warren has failed to last five innings in back-to-back starts, but over seven outings since the All-Star break he's still managed to post a respectable 4.04 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 34:14 K:BB in 35.2 innings. He'll look to bounce back in his next trip to the mound, which is scheduled to come on the road next week against the White Sox.

  • Yankees' Will Warren: Tallies seventh win

Warren (7-5) earned the win Monday against the Twins, allowing two runs on three hits and no walks with seven strikeouts over 6.2 innings. The New York right-hander dominated Minnesota in this 85-pitch outing, with all the damage given up coming on two solo homers -- Byron Buxton in the sixth and Trevor Larnach in the seventh. Warren managed to secure his fifth quality start of the season, as he's notched two in his last four appearances. Across 122.1 total innings, the 26-year-old now sports a 4.34 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 140:54 K:BB while conceding 14 long balls. Warren currently lines up to make his next start at St. Louis this weekend.

  • Yankees' Will Warren: Quiets Rangers over five innings

Warren didn't factor into the decision Tuesday against the Rangers, allowing three hits and three walks in five shutout innings. He struck out five. Tuesday marked the fifth scoreless start of the year for Warren, though he did walk a trio of batters for the fourth time in his last five outings. The 26-year-old right-hander worked around three doubles allowed, and he also threw just 52 of his 98 pitches for strikes en route to an impressive performance. Warren has a 4.44 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 133:54 K:BB over 115.2 innings, and he'll try to build on Tuesday's showing next week at home versus the Twins.
