Sears allowed three runs on four hits and struck out six without walking a batter over five innings in a no-decision versus Atlanta on Thursday.

Sears was cruising until the fourth inning, when he allowed all three runs, including a two-run homer to Jurickson Profar. It was the first time Sears has been scored on since June 22 versus the Guardians. The southpaw was denied a third straight win after exiting with the game tied at 3-3, but this was still a decent effort. He's now at a 4.79 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 79:24 K:BB through 97.2 innings over 19 starts this season. He'll likely take the mound versus the Guardians in a road series after the All-Star break.

Chapman picked up the save in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Rays, allowing one hit in a scoreless ninth inning. He struck out two.

The veteran southpaw continues to roll right along as Boston's closer in 2025, having now converted 16 of his 17 save opportunities. Additionally, Chapman hasn't yielded an earned run over his last 16 innings. That said, his expiring contract makes him a logical trade candidate ahead of the July 31 deadline, which is something for fantasy managers to keep in mind moving forward.

Baker (3-3) was charged with the loss and a blown save in Thursday's 4-3 loss to Boston, allowing three runs on two hits and two walks in the seventh inning. He struck out one.

Making his Rays debut, Baker was brought on to protect a three-run lead but floundered in the seventh frame. The 30-year-old right-hander should still act as a setup man for closer Pete Fairbanks in Tampa Bay's bullpen moving ahead, although the former has now given up seven runs in his past two outings. Baker is now at a 4.12 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 50:11 K:BB over 39.1 innings in 2025.

Stanton hit a two-run home run in his lone at-bat during Thursday's 6-5 extra-inning win over Seattle.

Stanton entered as a pinch hitter, drawing the Yankees closer and making it a 5-3 game in the eighth inning. The veteran slugger is operating strictly as a designated hitter after opening the season on the injured list, and he'll likely continue to battle with the likes of Jasson Dominguez, Ben Rice and Paul Goldschmidt for playing time in New York's star-studded lineup. Stanton is slashing a decent .254/.338/.429 with three homers, two doubles and 13 RBI over his first 71 plate appearances.

Wells went 1-for-3 with three RBI in Thursday's 6-5 extra-inning win over Seattle.

Wells was able to rack up at least three RBI for the seventh time this year, and he drove in two in the ninth inning to tie the game at 5-5. The 25-year-old lefty-hitting backstop occasionally loses playing time to Ben Rice behind the plate in New York's loaded lineup, but the former is doing his part to maintain a steady role. Wells is batting .271 with three homers, three doubles and 10 RBI over his last 48 at-bats (14 games).

Polanco went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run in Thursday's 6-5 extra-inning loss to the Yankees.

Polanco, who has now posted at least one hit in seven of his last nine games, is starting heat up in the power department. The veteran infielder has now smashed three homers over his first 29 at-bats of the month of July. Over his last 58 plate appearances (14 games), Polanco is also slashing an effective .240/.345/.500 with four doubles, seven RBI, seven walks and seven runs scored.

Munoz was charged with a blown save in Thursday's 6-5 extra-inning loss to the Yankees, allowing two runs on three hits and one walk with no strikeouts in the ninth inning.

It was the sixth blown save of the season by Munoz, who gave up multiple hits for only the second time out of 36 appearances this year. The hard-throwing right-hander remains Seattle's clear-cut closer, although he's been rather shaky since opening the campaign with a 0.00 ERA through May 29. Over his last 11.1 frames (12 outings), Munoz owns a 4.76 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 16:6 K:BB.

Campbell was optioned to Triple-A Worcester on Thursday, Christopher Smith of MassLive.com reports.

Campbell had his contract selected Tuesday and made his season debut in the majors one day later with two runs allowed over two innings. The move likely signifies the return of Hunter Dobbins (elbow) from the injured list, but an official corresponding move has yet to be announced.

Hamilton was optioned to Triple-A Worcester following Thursday's game against the Rays, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.

Hamilton had started only three of Boston's nine games since the start of July due to a heavy dose of opposing left-handed starters. There hasn't been any formal announcement, but this move could signal the return of Alex Bregman (quadriceps) on Friday. While Hamilton is hitting only .179 across 133 plate appearances, he does provide speed and defensive utility, so he could be back in the majors later in the season.

The Orioles optioned Wolfram to Triple-A Norfolk following Thursday's doubleheader with the Mets, Cordell Woodland of 105.7 The Fan Baltimore reports.

Wolfram threw two scoreless innings in the first game of the doubleheader against the Mets, striking out four while picking up his first career win. He's primarily pitched at Norfolk this season, but he could be back as an extra arm in Baltimore's bullpen if needed later in the summer.
