Ward went 1-for-4 with a walk and a two-run home run in Friday's 6-5 win over the Phillies.

The ball was flying out of Citizens Bank Park, with the two teams combining for six homers, but Ward's was the biggest as he took Tanner Banks deep in the seventh inning to break open a 4-4 tie. Ward is up to 22 home runs on the year, three shy of the career high he set in 2024, and after battling the BABIP demons to begin the season, he's slashing .273/.382/.482 since June 14 with 16 runs and 21 RBI in 29 contests.

Jansen worked a perfect ninth inning Friday to record his 17th save of the season in a 6-5 win over the Phillies.

The veteran closer didn't strike out a batter, instead relying on his defense to get the job done on just seven pitches (five strikes). Jansen picked up after the All-Star break right where he left off, as he hasn't given up an earned run since June 15 and has a 0.75 ERA and 13:2 K:BB over 12 innings during that impressive stretch. With the Angels likely to be sellers once again at the trade deadline and Jansen a free agent after the season, the 37-year-old is a prime candidate to be shipped to a contender before the end of the month.

Paddack (3-9) took the loss Friday against the Rockies, giving up five runs on eight hits and two walks in five innings. He struck out five.

Paddack's recent struggles before the All-Star break dragged into the beginning of the second half, as he walked multiple batters for the first time in his last seven starts. The right-hander has conceded at least four runs in five of his last seven outings, posting a dismal 8.55 ERA, 1.72 WHIP and 23:5 K:BB over 33.2 innings in that span. With a scary matchup looming next week against the Dodgers in Los Angeles, Paddack won't be a recommend fantasy streamer his next time out.

Corbin took a no-decision Friday against the Tigers, giving up three hits and two walks in 5.2 scoreless innings. He struck out six.

Corbin remains a stable source of length for the Rangers, having now tossed at least five innings in 14 consecutive starts and 16 of his 18 outings this year. Additionally, the veteran left-hander has fanned at least six in five of his last seven appearances. Corbin will bring a quality 3.91 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 80:29 K:BB over 99 frames into his next scheduled start at home versus the division-rival Athletics, who have a weak .625 OPS versus left-handed pitching since the start of June.

Olson took a no-decision Friday against the Rangers, giving up two hits and one walk in five scoreless innings. He struck out six.

Friday represented the fifth scoreless start of the season for Olson, who also recorded at least six punchouts for the fifth time this year. The right-hander produced 13 whiffs as well, and he's now been able to work at least five frames in eight of his 12 outings this season. Olson will carry a strong 2.71 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 61:23 K:BB over 63 innings into his next scheduled start, which projects for a soft matchup against the Pirates in Pittsburgh.

Bradley (6-6) earned the win Friday against the Orioles, giving up no runs on three hits and one walk in six innings. He struck out six.

Bradley was superb, registering his most strikeouts since his June 1 start in Houston. Friday also marked the 24-year-old right-hander's third scoreless outing of at least six innings in his last nine appearances, although he's surrendered at least five runs on three occasions during this stretch. Bradley now holds a 4.35 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 95:41 K:BB over 109.2 frames in 2025, and he's next scheduled to get a favorable matchup at home versus the lowly White Sox.

Morton (5-8) took the loss Friday against the Rays, giving up seven runs on eight hits and three walks in 5.1 innings. He struck out four.

The veteran right-hander wasn't sharp in his first start following the All-Star break, setting a season high in hits allowed and matching a season worst in runs allowed. Morton had yielded seven runs across his last four starts prior to Friday, but his ERA is now up to 5.58 for the year to go with a 1.56 WHIP and 92:41 K:BB over 88.2 innings (15 starts). His next turn tentatively lines up for next week in Cleveland, although the impending return of Zach Eflin (back) could alter Baltimore's rotation plans for next week.

Arozarena went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Friday's 6-1 win over the Astros.

Arozarena went 0-for-3 in the All-Star Game, but his power returned with the resumption of the regular season. He's homered in his last three games for the Mariners, and he's up to 18 long balls on the year, including 10 across his last 14 contests. The outfielder's now at a .252/.358/.470 slash line with 49 RBI, 54 runs scored and 16 stolen bases over 95 games, putting him within range of securing a fifth straight 20-20 season.

Garver went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 6-1 win over the Astros.

Garver has homered in back-to-back contests, and five of his six homers this season have come since June 20. He won't unseat Cal Raleigh as the starting catcher, but more consistency at the plate should allow Garver more looks as the designated hitter, particularly against southpaws. For the season, Garver is slashing .226/.314/.368 with 22 RBI, 16 runs scored and three stolen bases over 175 plate appearances.

Castillo (7-5) allowed three hits and two walks while striking out seven over 6.2 scoreless innings to earn the win over the Astros on Friday.

Castillo has won three straight starts, allowing just three runs over 18.2 innings in July. The right-hander threw 66 of 100 pitches for strikes in this outing, which was his fifth scoreless performance of the campaign. Castillo has been in peak form in 2025 with a 3.21 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 100:36 K:BB through 115 innings over 20 starts. He's projected for a home start versus the Brewers next week.
