Springer exited Monday's 11-4 loss to the Orioles in the top of the ninth inning after he was hit by a pitch in the head, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

Springer took a 96-mile-per-hour sinker from Kade Strowd off the side of the helmet. Manager John Schneider and the Toronto training staff immediately ran onto the field, and Springer was able to get up under his own power before walking off with the trainer. Leo Jimenez pinch ran for Springer, who went 0-for-3 with one walk and one run scored prior to his exit.

The Royals announced that Perez exited Monday's game against Atlanta with a left elbow contusion.

Perez took a 94 mph fastball from Spencer Strider off the elbow in the bottom of the third inning and was later removed from the contest in the top of the fifth. Freddy Fermin replaced Perez behind the plate. The hot-hitting Perez should be viewed as day-to-day, with Tuesday versus Atlanta being his next chance to play.

Vierling, who started in center field Monday against Arizona and went 1-for-4 with a double and an RBI, could see more time there in the short term with Parker Meadows (quad) landing on the 10-day injured list before the game, per Cody Stavenhagen of The Athletic.

Vierling had been seeing some time in left and right field, as well as at third base, but he may now focus more squarely on center with Meadows on the shelf. Wenceel Perez, who started in right Monday, is also an option in center, though it appears that Vierling will be first in the pecking order. The veteran utility player is only batting .212 this season, but he's been better lately with a .286 average over his last 10 games, and his fantasy outlook gets a short-term boost while Meadows is out.

Torkelson went 2-for-4 with an RBI in Monday's 5-1 win over the Diamondbacks.

Torkelson has collected a hit in eight of his 11 games following the All-Star break, and he's tallied three multi-hit performances during the stretch. The slugger is now batting a solid .274 this month with six home runs and 13 RBI across 23 contests. Torkelson is showing some consistency during a bounceback campaign after he struggled to find his footing last year. His OPS is up from .669 during the 2024 regular season to .825 so far in 2025.

Perez exited Monday's game versus Atlanta in the top of the fifth inning after previously getting hit by a pitch in the elbow, Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports.

Perez was hit with a Spencer Strider fastball in the bottom of the third inning but stayed in the game only to be removed in favor of Freddy Fermin in the top of the fifth. Prior to exiting, Perez was 1-for-1 at the plate with one RBI. The veteran catcher has been one of the hottest hitters in baseball over the last month-plus, slashing .304/.340/.685 with nine home runs, 20 RBI and 14 runs scored over the previous 30 days leading into Monday's contest.

Ibanez went 2-for-4 with a double, a solo home run and an additional run scored in Monday's 5-1 win over the Diamondbacks.

Ibanez was recalled from Triple-A Toledo earlier in the day, and he quickly made an impact for the Tigers. The utility player was inserted into the lineup due to his strong splits against lefties, and that decision paid off when he took Arizona starter Eduardo Rodriguez deep in the fourth inning for his third home run of the season. Ibanez will likely settle into a bench role for Detroit, which limits his fantasy upside, but he can do some damage against southpaws.

Dingler went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Monday's 5-1 win over the Diamondbacks.

Dingler has been in a nice groove lately, as he now has hits in four straight games, with three of them going down as multi-hit performances. Overall, the Detroit catcher is slashing .279/.320/.435 with nine home runs, 29 runs scored and 40 RBI across 80 games. He's been more effective against lefties, sporting an .889 OPS in those matchups, and his long ball Monday came against Arizona southpaw Eduardo Rodriguez. However, Dingler still has a solid .710 OPS against righties, giving him broad fantasy appeal in his starting role.

Moncada (hand) remains out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Rangers.

Moncada was hit by a pitch Saturday and will now miss his second consecutive contest. X-rays, however, did come back negative, so Moncada continues to be viewed as day-to-day. Kevin Newman will make another start at third base and bat ninth Monday versus Texas. In his first season with the Halos, Moncada is slashing .216/.321/.455 with eight home runs, 22 RBI, 21 runs scored and an 18:39 BB:K across 156 plate appearances. He's played in just 42 games in another injury-riddled campaign.

Bader is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Red Sox.

Bader had started the previous three contests, but he'll get Monday off while the Twins go with the trio of Willi Castro, DaShawn Keirsey and Matt Wallner from left to right in the outfield. The 31-year-old Bader is set to become a free agent this winter and could be moved elsewhere ahead of Thursday's trade deadline.

Vazquez will start at catcher and bat eighth in Monday's game against the Red Sox.

Vazquez will draw a third consecutive start behind the dish, but he'll likely see his playing time scaled back once top backstop Ryan Jeffers (personal) returns from the paternity list. The 34-year-old Vazquez has struggled to get much going offensively in 2025; he'll enter Monday's contest with a .527 OPS, the lowest mark of his 11-year big-league career.
