The Twins recalled Adams from Triple-A St. Paul on Friday.

Adams made his MLB debut earlier this season, pitching in four games out of the bullpen for the Twins. He registered an 8.03 ERA, 1.62 WHIP and 9:3 K:BB across 12.1 innings of work. Adams will help fill the void in Minnesota's bullpen following the trade deadline.

Keaschall (forearm) won't be reinstated from the 60-day injured list Friday and will continue his rehab assignment with Triple-A St. Paul, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

The Twins have a ton of roster spots to fill coming out of the trade deadline, but Keaschall needs a bit more time in the minors before rejoining the active roster. The 22-year-old served exclusively as a designated hitter during the first week of his rehab assignment, and he'll continue building up his defensive work with St. Paul. Once reinstated, Keaschall should see plenty of playing time following the departures of Carlos Correa (illness), Willi Castro, Harrison Bader and Ty France.

The Orioles selected Adams' contract from Double-A Chesapeake on Friday.

The 25-year-old will bolster Baltimore's outfield following the departures of Cedric Mullins, Ramon Laureano and Ryan O'Hearn. Adams will likely start out as the Orioles' No. 4 outfielder, but it'll still be his best opportunity yet in the majors, as the former Angel has played just 33 games across parts of three big-league seasons.

The Orioles selected Vavra's contract from Triple-A Norfolk on Friday.

The 28-year-old remained in the organization after being designated for assignment in late May, and he'll receive another look in the majors after Baltimore traded away Ryan O'Hearn, Ramon Laureano and Cedric Mullins. Vavra last played in the majors in 2023 and had a .560 OPS in 56 plate appearances. His performance at Norfolk this season has also been underwhelming with a .695 OPS.

The Orioles recalled Vazquez from Triple-A Norfolk on Friday.

The 25-year-old will join the big-league roster with the Orioles having some openings after the trade deadline. Vazuez has gone 1-for-13 in 12 MLB games this season and isn't likely to see much playing time with Baltimore's infield in good health.

Clarke (hip) began a hitting and running progression Tuesday, MLB.com reports.

Clarke landed on the injured list July 22 due to a Grade 2 adductor strain, and it's encouraging that he was shut down from baseball activities for only about a week. The 25-year-old has a lot of work to do in his rehab before being game ready, but a return in mid-August appears plausible.

Scholtens (elbow) resumed his rehab assignment July 13 and has allowed six runs (four earned) on five hits and two walks while striking out 11 over 8.1 innings in three outings with Triple-A Charlotte.

Scholtens, who is working his way back from March 2024 Tommy John surgery, began a rehab assignment May 6 before experiencing elbow discomfort June 4. After taking about a month off, the righty is now building back up again. He tossed 3.1 innings and 64 pitches in his latest start for Charlotte this past Saturday, so he'll likely require at least one or two more rehab outings before he'll be ready for activation. The White Sox wouldn't appear to have a starting role available for Scholtens, so he could work out of the bullpen or out of the rotation at Triple-A once he's reinstated from the 60-day injured list.

Single-A Kannapolis placed Mogollon on its 7-day injured list July 2 due to an unspecified injury.

The 19-year-old middle infielder had slashed .220/.347/.387 with five home runs and 15 stolen bases over 224 plate appearances for Kannapolis prior to landing on the shelf.

Elko (knee) began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Charlotte on Wednesday and has gone 3-for-8 with two home runs, one walk, four RBI and three runs through his first two games.

The White Sox placed Elko on the 10-day injured list July 11 due to a right knee sprain, but he looks to be on the cusp of a return. Aside from moving short-side platoon outfielder Austin Slater, the White Sox didn't deal away any position players at the trade deadline, so Elko may not be in store for an everyday role at first base or designated hitter once he's activated.

GM Mike Elias said Wednesday that a medical plan for Rodriguez (elbow/lat) is being finalized, with surgery being a possibility, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Possible surgery is a worrying development for Rodriguez, though it's encouraging that the procedure would be to remove some bone rather than a UCL issue. The right-hander has been on the injured list all season due to elbow and lat injuries, and surgery would prevent him from pitching at all in 2025. However, Rodriguez should have enough time to get healthy for next spring.
