Crawford went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Monday against Toronto.

Although Crawford smacked his second homer of the season, he wasn't able to reach safely in his other three at-bats. He's still looking for his first multi-hit game of 2024, slashing .140/.213/.279 with five runs scored and four RBI over 11 appearances.

Perdomo (knee) underwent surgery to repair a torn right meniscus Monday, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.

Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said the procedure went well. The organization believes Perdomo will need about a month to recover and rehab.

Volpe went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run and a walk during Monday's 7-0 win over the Marlins.

Volpe's fourth-inning blast off Jesus Luzardo kicked off the scoring for the Yankees and provided more than enough run support during the team's shutout victory. Volpe doubled his home run and RBI total for the season with Monday's effort while the talented young shortstop's performance actually lowered his average to .417 as he continues to pace all of baseball in that department.

De La Cruz went 3-for-4 with two solo home runs, four runs scored and a stolen base in Monday's win over the Brewers.

De La Cruz put on a full show Monday night against the Brewers, blasting a 450-foot solo homer, his first of the season, in the fifth inning. He then added a second homer later with a dazzling inside-the-park homer in the ninth inning. The shortstop even gathered his sixth steal of the year just to add to the spectacle. De La Cruz is slashing .297/.366/.595 over his first 40 plate appearances with a 42.5 percent strikeout rate.

Abrams (finger) will participate in baseball drills Monday and hopes to return to the lineup Tuesday against San Francisco, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports.

Abrams won't be available for Monday's series opener, but if all goes well, his absence should be a relatively short one after suffering a bone bruise of his left pinky finger during Friday's contest. The team should have more information on Abrams' availability after going through baseball activities.

Abrams (finger) remained out of the lineup for Monday's game in San Francisco, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

It's the third straight game he's missed with a bone bruise of his left pinky finger. Abrams should still be considered day-to-day for the time being. Ildemaro Vargas will fill in again at shortstop Monday and Jacob Young will bat leadoff.

The Angels designated Soto for assignment Monday.

Soto was claimed off waivers by the Angels on Feb. 18 after being DFA'd by the Orioles two days prior. He was then optioned to Triple-A Salt Lake towards the end of spring training, where he has slashed .214/.324/.286 with two doubles, three RBI and one stolen base over 35 plate appearances. Should Soto clear waivers, he'll look to catch onto another organization in need of a left-handed bat and infield depth.

Perez was recalled from Triple-A Toledo on Monday, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

Perez has a .782 OPS with one homer and four steals this season with Toledo and will be making his major-league debut in the event he gets into a game. The 24-year-old has past experience in the infield but has moved to the outfield full-time in 2024.

DeJong is absent from the lineup for Monday's game versus the Guardians, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

DeJong and Braden Shewmake have been sharing shortstop for the White Sox this season. It will be Shewmake at short in this one for the second straight contest.

Volpe went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and scored two runs in Sunday's 8-3 victory versus Toronto.

Volpe has been swinging a hot bat to start the season, as he's slashing .424/.486/.606 through 37 plate appearances. The 22-year-old has also swiped three bags in four attempts and has scored nine times while knocking one homer and driving in three runs. Volpe worked to flatten his swing during spring training, and the results so far are promising considering that he hit just .209 as a rookie last year.
