Luciano is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Pirates.

Luciano has taken the reins at shortstop since Nick Ahmed (wrist) landed on the 10-day injured list May 10, with the 22-year-old having started each of the last five games while going 6-for-17 with two doubles and three doubles. He'll likely still continue to see the bulk of the reps at shortstop sans Ahmed, but Luciano will give way to Brett Wisely in the series finale.

Bichette went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in Wednesday's 9-2 win over the White Sox.

Bichette's power has been largely absent this season -- this was just his third homer of the season through 45 contests. Two of them have come over the last 10 games, a span in which he's hitting .351 (13-for-37) with seven RBI and four doubles. The shortstop is slashing a middling .233/.289/.349 with 19 RBI, 15 runs scored, four stolen bases, nine doubles and a triple through 187 plate appearances, though he's starting to turn things around.

Seager went 2-for-3 with two walks and a solo home run during Wednesday's 11-4 loss to Philadelphia.

Seager reached base four times Wednesday, but he was only able to reach home plate on a solo homer in the seventh off Gregory Soto. The shortstop has gone yard in three straight games and has hit safely in 14 of his last 16 games. Seager trails only Gunnar Henderson and Elly De La Cruz for the most home runs at the shortstop position.

Caballero went 2-for-4 with two RBI, a stolen base and one run scored in Wednesday's 8-5 loss to the Red Sox.

Caballero had gone without a steal in his last seven games, matching his longest drought of the year, which he's now done three times. He's hitting .278 (15-for-54) over 18 games in May, picking up nine of his 18 steals on the year this month. The speedster has slashed .263/.319/.368 with two home runs, 16 RBI, 22 runs, eight doubles and a triple through 168 plate appearances. Caballero continues to see a majority of the playing time at shortstop over Amed Rosario.

Sosa went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run during Wednesday's 11-4 win over the Rangers.

The shortstop tagged Jonathan Hernandez for a round-tripper in the fourth inning, plating Nick Castellanos and Brandon Marsh. The long ball was Sosa's second of the campaign and his first in 51 at-bats, dating back to April 7. Since Trea Turner (hamstring) was placed on the injured list May 4, Sosa is 11-for-37 (.297) with 12 runs and nine RBI.

Neto will undergo further testing on his right elbow in Los Angeles after exiting in the bottom of the fifth inning of Wednesday's 2-1 win over the Astros, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Neto went 0-for-2 with a strikeout before he was lifted in the bottom of the fifth inning shortly after he made a high throw from shortstop. The Angels labeled his injury as right elbow soreness, but more clarity on the severity of the injury should be known once his tests are completed. For what it's worth, Neto said the Angels' training staff told him that his injury doesn't appear to be serious.

Kim is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Reds.

Though double-play partner Xander Bogaerts will be in store for a long-term absence after he was diagnosed Wednesday with a fractured shoulder, Kim's absence from the lineup appears to be little more than a maintenance day. Tyler Wade will cover shortstop in Kim's stead.

Neto was removed from Wednesday's game against the Astros in the bottom of the fifth inning due to right elbow soreness. He went 0-for-2 with a strikeout before exiting the game.

Neto uncorked a high throw to first base in the fifth inning which Nolan Schanuel had to leap up to grab. As it turns out, Neto must have tweaked his elbow on the throw. The Angels should have more information on the young shortstop after the game, but he could be at risk of landing on the 10-day injured list.

Brujan is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Brewers.

After a stretch of 16 consecutive starts, Brujan is on the bench for the second day in a row and appears set to operate as a utility man moving forward. His most recent nine starts came at shortstop, but Tim Anderson returned from the injured list Tuesday and has reclaimed everyday duties at the position. Meanwhile, Brujan looks to have lost out on playing time at second base to Otto Lopez, who has produced an .886 OPS thus far in May while chipping in two home runs and two stolen bases.

Neto was removed from Wednesday's game against the Astros in the bottom of the fifth inning with an apparent injury, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Neto made a high throw to first base and was removed from the game shortly therafter. It's not clear what injury Neto might be dealing with, but the Angels should have an update on the shortstop's status soon. Neto went 0-for-2 with a strikeout before being lifted.
