Dodgers' Mookie Betts: Drives in four in win
Betts went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run, an additional RBI and a stolen base in Tuesday's 6-2 extra-inning win over the Angels.
Betts had an RBI single in the third inning and then gave the Dodgers plenty of breathing room with a homer in the 10th. He's hit safely in 11 of his last 13 games, going 14-for-51 (.275) with three homers and 18 RBI in that span. The superstar has a .302/.393/.500 slash line, 15 homers, 62 RBI, 65 runs scored and 14 steals over 93 contests this season.

Anthony Volpe SS | NYY
Yankees' Anthony Volpe: Notches steal, drives in two
Volpe went 2-for-4 with two RBI, a stolen base and a run scored in Tuesday's 7-4 loss to the Rangers.
Volpe's two-run single in the eighth inning gave the Yankees a 4-1 lead, but the bullpen faltered over the last two innings. This was Volpe's fourth multi-hit effort over his last eight games, and he's batting .414 (12-for-29) with seven RBI in that span. The shortstop is up to 26 steals on 31 attempts this year while adding 11 home runs, 54 RBI, 84 runs scored and a .255/.305/.387 slash line through 138 contests.

Brayan Rocchio SS | CLE
Guardians' Brayan Rocchio: Plates four in victory
Rocchio went 1-for-1 with a home run, four RBI, two runs scored and a walk in Tuesday's 7-1 win over Kansas City.
The Cleveland shortstop opened the game's scoring in the second inning innocuously with a sacrifice fly. Rocchio then returned to blast a 372-foot, two-run homer off reliever Sam Long in the seventh before drawing a bases-loaded walk in the eighth to notch his first career four-RBI performance. The 23-year-old continues to play regularly at shortstop for the Guardians despite slashing .211/.298/.319 with seven homers, 46 runs scored and 31 RBI across 381 plate appearances, as his above-average glove keeps him in the lineup.

Marco Luciano SS | NYY
Giants' Marco Luciano: Recalled from Triple-A
The Giants recalled Luciano from Triple-A Sacramento on Tuesday.
Luciano went 4-for-21 with nine strikeouts over seven games during his most recent stint in the big leagues, but he'll get another shot with the Giants after slashing .281/.359/.421 with two homers and six RBI across 64 plate appearances since returning to Triple-A. Casey Schmitt was optioned to Sacramento in a corresponding move.

Corey Seager SS | TEX
Rangers' Corey Seager: Receiving Tuesday off
Seager is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Yankees.
Seager has a .968 OPS with seven extra-base hits in his last 10 contests, but he'll sit Tuesday for the second time in Texas' past five games. Jonathan Ornelas will take over at shortstop and bat ninth against Yankees lefty Carlos Rodon.

Bo Bichette 3B | NYM
Blue Jays' Bo Bichette: Closing in on rehab assignment
Bichette (calf) ran the bases Monday and will do so again Wednesday, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.
Running the bases marks a big step forward for Bichette as he works his way back from a right calf strain which initially cropped up nearly two months ago. Bichette will travel with the Blue Jays to Atlanta this weekend to continue ramping up and is expected to be ready for a rehab assignment soon. He's tracking toward a return from the injured list by mid-September.

Marlins' Xavier Edwards: Back in action Tuesday
Edwards (back) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list and is starting at shortstop and batting leadoff Tuesday against the Nationals.

Marlins' Xavier Edwards: Aiming for return this week
Edwards (back) resumed full baseball activities last week and anticipates returning from the 10-day injured list at some point during the Marlins' six-game homestand that runs Tuesday through Sunday, MLB.com reports.
Miami placed Edwards on the IL on Aug. 26 with mild back extensor soreness, but he looks poised to return in the minimum 10 days or close to it. Once reinstated, Edwards should reclaim an everyday role at shortstop while potentially displacing Connor Norby as the Marlins' primary leadoff hitter.

Dodgers' Mookie Betts: Drives in three runs Monday
Betts went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk, three runs and three RBI in an 11-6 win over Arizona on Monday.
Betts singled home Los Angeles' first run with a third-inning single and added a two-run double in the eighth. The star right fielder has been very productive of late, knocking in at least one run in nine of his past 12 contests and tallying 14 total RBI over that span. Betts has added two homers, four doubles, nine runs, three steals and a .261/.321/.478 slash line during the 12-game stretch.

Leonardo Rivas 3B | SEA
Mariners' Leo Rivas: Swipes base as pinch runner
Rivas entered Monday's loss to the Athletics as a pinch runner in the top of the eighth inning and recorded a stolen base.
Rivas swiped third on Dylan Moore's swinging strikeout, but he was left stranded 90 feet away from home plate when Mitch Haniger also went down on strikes to close out the frame. Rivas was out of the starting nine for the fourth time in the five games since J.P. Crawford's activation from the injured list, and although the latter is struggling at the plate, Rivas figures to continue seeing only intermittent playing time for the foreseeable future.
