Mondesi was promoted to Triple-A Omaha on Friday, Paul Boyd of the Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports.

Mondesi has gone 5-for-12 (.417) with six stolen bases since being reinstated from a 50-game PED suspension. The 21-year-old slashed .267/.338/.457 with 17 stolen bases over 29 games with Double-A NW Arkansas this season and now has an opportunity to show off his skills during his first appearance in Triple-A ball.

Ciriaco was traded to Miami on Friday in exchange for Erik Jokisch, John Blake of TexasRangers.com reports.

Ciriaco has spent all of the 2016 season with Triple-A Round Rock where he's compiled a .268/.297/.320 slash line over 51 games. The 30-year-old will likely head to Triple-A New Orleans now where he'll resume his season in new scenery.

Turner was recalled by the Nationals on Friday.

Turner, the Nationals' top infield prospect, will join the big club for the second time this season. There isn't an immediate opening for him with the Nationals at shortstop -- or in center field, for that matter -- but the team did place Ryan Zimmerman on the disabled list Friday in a corresponding move, so there may be times where Daniel Murphy and Danny Espinosa both shift to the right and allow Turner to see some starts at the shortstop position.

Turner will apparently be called up by the Nationals on Friday, Chelsea Janes of the Washington Post reports.

Manager Dusty Baker said the Nationals would make a roster move Friday, and Turner is reportedly on his way to New York, so it appears he will be the player getting the call. It's not immediately apparent where Turner will fit in the Nationals' lineup, or if he will remain with the team after the All-Star break, but he has spent time in center field of late, so he could be used as a super-utility player if he stays with the big league club for good. Turner will have eligibility at shortstop in most leagues, so it doesn't necessarily matter if he's not playing there this year, as long as he is getting steady at-bats. He brings a plus-plus hit tool and plus speed to the table, and would be worth an add in almost all formats if it starts to look like he'll get pretty regular playing time.

Story went 2-for-3 with two homers, four RBI and three runs in Thursday's 11-2 victory over the Phillies.

The dynamic rookie went over the 20-homer mark with a 442-foot shot in the third that plated DJ LeMahieu and Carlos Gonzalez, and provided a mammoth 446-foot solo blast in the fifth as an encore. Story snapped an 0-for-17 skid with his momentous night, and tied an NL rookie record for most homers before the All-Star break. The performance was an excellent pitch on Story's part for the final NL All-Star spot, an honor that he's one of five finalists for.

O'Malley (foot) is back in the lineup against the Royals on Thursday, Bob Dutton of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.

O'Malley was hit by a foul ball Monday, but came in for two at-bats during Tuesday's contest. He sat out Wednesday's game, but will be back in the lineup Thursday in center, batting ninth in the order. O'Malley is hitting .221 with five RBI during 68 at-bats this season.

Mondesi has gone 4-for-11 with three walks and four steals in four games since returning from a PED suspension at Double-A Northwest Arkansas on July 4.

The soon-to-be 21-year-old is having his best offensive season as a pro in 2016, despite the 50-game absence as a result of the suspension. Mondesi could be in the mix for a second-half call-up to Kansas City, likely after rosters expand, as he is already in possession of a spot on the 40-man roster.

Mateo received a two-week suspension Wednesday for allegedly complaining to management about not getting a promotion to Double-A, the New York Post's George King reports.

The suspension means the Yankees' top prospect won't participate in the Futures Game on Sunday in San Diego, but it means relatively little in terms of affecting his long-term development. Of course, Mateo was believed to have good makeup, so this does change that perception a little, but he's still talented enough to make people forget about this issue down the road. The timing of his argument about getting promoted is a bit odd, as he has been in a brutal slump for a month. His season line sits at .266/.323/.396 with five homers and 26 steals in 340 plate appearances.

Swanson collected two more hits on Tuesday, giving him 11 hits in his last 21 at bats for Double-A Mississippi.

Swanson and teammate Ozzie Albies have both been tearing the cover off the ball since they were paired together at Double-A on June 30. Albies has been playing second base while Swanson has been the primary shortstop. These two will most likely be working together in the minors until they get called up to the majors at some point in 2017.

Mateo, 21, is batting just .211 with 11 strikeouts and zero stolen bases over his last 10 games for High-A Tampa.

It is difficult to steal bases when you aren't on base, as Mateo has hit the skids of late. However, this is likely just a blip on the radar. The 21-year-old remains one of the better shortstop prospects in the game, slashing .266/.323/.396 with five home runs, 34 RBI and 26 steals through 76 games at this level. He is on the roster for the Futures Game.
