Bogaerts (hamstring) will start at shortstop and bat fifth Saturday against the Rangers.

Bogaerts suffered a hamstring injury toward the end of Friday's contest, but it won't be enough to prevent him from playing Saturday. The 32-year-old infielder has been heating up at the plate recently, going 9-for-23 (.391) with a homer and three runs scored over his last six games.

Abrams went 1-for-3 with a walk, a run scored and a stolen base in Friday's loss to the Red Sox.

The shortstop continues to surge toward a breakout campaign. Abrams has hit safely in seven straight games and 13 of his last 14, a stretch in which he's slashing .339/.397/.565 with three long balls, four steals, eight RBI and 14 runs as the Nationals' leadoff hitter. He needs one more stolen base to become the eighth player in the majors with 10-plus homers and 20-plus steals on the season.

Kim (calf) isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Twins, Ryan Bass of FanDuel Sports Network Sun reports.

Kim had to leave his Rays debut early Friday after his calf began to cramp up on him in the seventh inning. He'll take an extra day off to recover Saturday; meanwhile, Taylor Walls will start at shortstop and bat seventh.

Arias (ankle) fielded groundballs prior to Friday's game, MLB.com reports.

Arias is dealing with what an MRI revealed to be a "moderate" sprain, according to Cleveland manager Stephen Vogt. The manager noted that the infielder, who had taken over as the primary shortstop, appears to have avoided a major injury. Since Arias landed on the 10-day injured list, the Guardians have used a combination of Brayan Rocchio and Daniel Schneemann at shortstop.

Lopez went 1-for-4 with a walk, a home run and three RBI in Friday's 6-5 loss to the Brewers.

An RBI groundout in the first inning preceded a two-run homer off Quinn Priester in the fifth, which tied the game at 5-5. Lopez has been a run-producing machine of late, hitting safely in 12 of his last 14 games and slashing .339/.413/.536 with three of his nine homers on the season, plus a whopping 19 of his 44 RBI.

Wilson (hamstring) went 1-for-4 with a two-run double and one run scored in Friday's 11-2 win over the Giants.

Wilson missed the Athletics' previous two games due to a hamstring issue. He was back in the starting lineup Friday, batting second, and he played seven innings in the field before Max Schuemann took over at shortstop in the blowout win. Wilson looks good to go moving forward, which is a big boost for the Athletics' offense. While his consistency has wavered recently -- he's hitting a modest .232 over his last 19 games -- he's still at a .337/.379/.474 slash line with nine home runs, 42 RBI, 43 runs scored, five stolen bases and 17 doubles through 82 contests overall.

Witt went 3-for-5 with one RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 9-3 win over the Diamondbacks.

Witt is on an eight-game hitting streak, going 15-for-35 (.429) in that span. The shortstop continues to deliver consistency at the plate -- he's been held hitless in consecutive games on just four occasions all season. He's at a .293/.346/.490 slash line with 11 home runs, 47 RBI, 53 runs scored and 24 stolen bases through 89 contests.

Bogaerts was removed from Friday's game against the Rangers with an apparent hamstring injury, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.

Bogaerts injured himself on a swing during the 10th inning of Friday's contest, and he had to leave the game before finishing his at-bat. The severity of his injury is still unknown, but the Padres will likely have more information on his status once they run some tests on him.

Kim was removed from Friday's game against the Twins due to a right calf injury, Ryan Bass of FanDuel Sports Network Sun reports.

After spending the first several months of the season on the injured list due to shoulder and hamstring injuries, Kim's Rays debut came to an early end after he injured his calf attempting to steal third base in the seventh inning. Manager Kevin Cash said after the game that Kim is considered day-to-day, so it doesn't seem like the 29-year-old infielder is headed for another IL stint. Taylor Walls will likely start any games Kim has to miss.

Swanson went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Friday's 11-3 win over the Cardinals.

Swanson singled and scored in the third inning before crushing a 423-foot homer in the seventh. The shortstop has hit safely in nine of his past 10 games, recording five multi-hit efforts, three RBI and seven runs scored in that span. For the season, he's slashing .254/.304/.436 with 15 home runs, 42 RBI, 50 runs scored and seven steals across 366 plate appearances.
