Gordon went 3-for-6 with a double, a run scored, an RBI and his 56th stolen base of the year in Friday's 13-11 loss to the Diamondbacks.

It's his fifth multi-hit performance in his last six games, and Gordon is now slashing a magnificent .373/.381/.506 in September with a homer, eight steals, six RBI and 13 runs in 19 games as he finishes the season on a high note.

Seager (ankle) is back in the lineup for Friday's game against the Giants, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

This comes as a surprise, because while X-rays on the ankle were negative, manager Dave Roberts just said Thursday that Seager would be out "at least" a couple more days. Regardless, Seager's penciled in to return, and will get a chance to improve upon his 1-for-9 career mark against Giants starter Jeff Samardzija.

Arcia is not in the lineup against the Cubs on Friday.

Arcia will stay on the bench for the second straight contest as manager Craig Counsell elects to go with Eric Sogard at the shortstop position once more. The 23-year-old could enter the fray during the latter stages of Friday's game, much like he did Thursday night.

Correa is out of the lineup Friday against the Angels.

Houston's star shortstop hasn't been himself at the plate lately. Over the last three games he's gone 0-for-10. He'll get his first day off since returning from the DL on Sept. 3 as Marwin Gonzalez moves in from the outfield to fill in for Correa.

Turner is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Mets, Chelsea Janes of The Washington Post reports.

Most of the team's regulars are resting; Daniel Murphy, Ryan Zimmerman and Anthony Rendon are all on the bench as well. This figures to be Turner's final breather of the regular season. Turner hasn't really missed a beat since his return from a wrist injury last month, and perhaps most encouraging is the fact that he's slugging .553 in 22 games since his activation.

Urena is out of the lineup Friday against the Yankees.

Urena's recent performance at the plate has been dismal. Over the last seven games he's gone 1-for-20 (.050) and struck out 10 times across 21 plate appearances. With Urena out, the Blue Jays will start Ryan Goins at shortstop and deploy Darwin Barney at second.

Anderson went 1-for-4 with a home run and a strikeout in Thursday's 3-1 win over the Astros.

He extended his hitting streak to a career-high 12 games, as he continues his torrid close to the season. Anderson was hitting .232/.254/.347 on Aug. 1, and now he is slashing .263/.280/.417 with 17 home runs and 14 steals (on 15 attempts). His impressive tools have never been up for debate, but his approach still leaves a lot to be desired. Considering the way he is closing out his season, Anderson should enter 2018 as a strong power/speed target later in drafts.

Arcia is not in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Cubs.

Arcia will open on the bench for a second time in six games as manager Craig Counsell continues to give Eric Sogard starts around the infield. The 23-year-old has turned in a passable .271/.364/.354 line with seven RBI and a 9:7 K:BB through 18 games in September.

Manager Dave Roberts said Seager (ankle) will be out of the lineup "at least [the] next couple of days," David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

It may be best to hope for a Monday return, at the earliest, for Seager, who fouled a ball off his right ankle Wednesday. X-rays thankfully came back negative, so the elite shortstop should return sometime this season. Of course, with the Dodgers close to clinching home-field advantage in the playoffs -- despite their recent swoon and the Nationals gaining ground -- they may not be in a rush if Seager doesn't feel right. Given his murky timetable, his fantasy owners should line up an alternative.

The shortstop fouled a ball off his ankle Wednesday, and he stayed in the contest afterward. X-rays were negative, so perhaps this absence is merely precautionary and he'll be back in the next few days. Still, it wouldn't be surprising if the Dodgers rested him a bit more before the postseason, but the Nationals still have an outside shot at homefield advantage, so Los Angeles may want to wrap that up before making other plans. Meanwhile, Logan Forsythe takes his place at the six Thursday for his first start there since Sept. 2014.
