Wendle went 2-for-4 with a run in a win over the Astros on Sunday.

Wendle hit leadoff for just the third time this season and was able to extend his hitting streak to four games in the process. The 28-year-old continues to carve out playing time for himself with defensive versatility, as he's now drawn three straight starts in left field, adding to a resume that already includes time at second base, third base and shortstop.

Ahmed went 2-for-5 with a triple and run scored in Sunday's 9-6 loss to the Giants.

The shortstop has recorded hits in five consecutive games, marking his second-longest stretch of the season. The Diamondbacks have been rotating Ahmed, Daniel Descalso and Ketel Marte at the middle-infield spots of late, but Ahmed's playing time looks to be the most stable of the trio. Descalso is typically excluded from the lineup against lefty pitching and has recorded just four hits in 36 at-bats over his last 13 games, while Marte is considered day-to-day after suffering a hamstring cramp during Saturday's contest.

DeJong (hand) will not join the Cardinals for the three-game series against the Diamondbacks that begins Monday, Peter Baugh of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

DeJong was thought to have a good chance of joining the team in Arizona on Monday, but he'll instead start for Triple-A Memphis that night and on Tuesday as well. The 24-year-old is now expected to be activated at some point during the four-game series against the Giants that begins Thursday.

Lindor went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles, four runs and two RBI in Cleveland's 15-3 romp over Oakland on Sunday.

It was a monster day for Cleveland's offense spearheaded by its dynamic shortstop, who lashed two doubles and scored four of the team's 15 runs from atop the order. Lindor has further established himself as one of the premier offensive talents at the position this season, as he's in the midst of a fabulous campaign that has seen him post a .296/.372/.564 slash line to go along with 21 homers, 48 RBI and a league-leading 70 runs through 81 games.

Anderson went 2-for-5 with a double, two runs and an RBI in a 10-5 victory for the White Sox over the Rangers on Sunday.

The 25-year-old raised his average up to .251 with this multi-hit effort on an explosive day for the White Sox offense. Anderson continues to be a cross-category asset, with 13 homers and 17 steals to go along with 45 runs and 34 RBI. He doesn't hit for especially high average, and his .433 slugging percentage isn't spectacular, but Anderson has nonetheless posted a respectable .745 OPS over his 291 at-bats, and his ability on the basepaths also drastically enhances his fantasy value.

Turner went 3-for-6 with a run in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Phillies.

Turner also went 0-for-1 in stolen base attempts on the day, bringing him to 22-for-26 in 2018. The 25-year-old shortstop in slashing .274/.357/.412 with nine long balls in 328 at-bats. He's nearing his 2017 total of 412 at-bats, but he still has a long way to go to reach his career-high 46 stolen bases.

Baez went 3-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's win over the Twins.

The dynamic 25-year-old continued his hot streak, as he's now 14-for-26 over his past six games with two home runs, 10 RBI and 10 runs. Baez has boosted his season batting average up to .290 with the good run, and he should remain a strong source of counting stats in a loaded Chicago lineup.

Cordoba (concussion) was activated from the 60-day disabled list Sunday and optioned to High-A Lake Elsinore.

A 2016 Rule 5 selection, Cordoba made the jump from rookie ball to the majors last season and predictably struggled, slashing .208/.282/.297 across 227 plate appearances. After sustaining a concussion in a February car crash, Cordoba was sidelined for nearly four months before he resumed a rehab assignment June 11. With his 20-day rehab window coming to a close, Cordoba will now settle into a full-time role at Lake Elsinore, where he should have a better chance at finding success against more age-appropriate competition.

Mondesi is out of the lineup Sunday against the Mariners.

Mondesi heads to the bench following six straight starts in the middle infield, during which he went 4-for-20 with a home run and a stolen base. Though manager Ned Yost initially indicated Mondesi would only play a few times per week behind middle-infield starters Whit Merrifield and Alcides Escobar, the Royals have addressed the logjam by using Escobar in center field more frequently. It thus appears that Mondesi will have a clear path to steady at-bats the rest of the season, making him an appealing target for those in deeper leagues mining for stolen-base production.

Adrianza is out of the lineup Sunday against the Cubs, LaVelle E. Neal III of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Though he played the entirety of Saturday's 14-9 loss and went 2-for-5 with two RBI and a run, Adrianza required an IV after the contest, which was played amid extreme heat in Chicago, Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports. Temperatures are more moderate Sunday, but manager Paul Molitor decided Adrianza could benefit from a day off. Adrianza's move to the bench might become permanent: Molitor also indicated the Twins plan to reinstate Jorge Polanco from suspension and insert him into the lineup Monday in Milwaukee, per Berardino. Polanco would presumably take over as the Twins' everyday shortstop and push Adrianza to a utility role.
