Swanson went 3-for-4 with a triple and a run scored in Friday's win over the Diamondbacks.

The shortstop had an 11-game hitting streak snapped Thursday, but he wasted no time getting back on that horse. Swanson now sports a .273/.342/.500 slash line through 39 games with six homers, four steals, 19 runs and 25 RBI, putting the 25-year-old well on pace for a career-best campaign.

Velazquez was recalled from Triple-A Durham on Saturday, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

The Rays optioned Velazquez just one day earlier but were able to bring him back immediately to replace the injured Tyler Glasnow (forearm). Velazquez has shuffled back and forth between Tampa and Durham all season and could be optioned again if the Rays eventually decide to bring up another pitcher to take Glasnow's place on the staff.

Crawford went 2-for-4 in a loss to the Red Sox on Friday.

The 24-year-old's multi-hit effort in his 2019 big-league debut was one of the only bright spots for the Mariners in an otherwise forgettable night. The length of Crawford's major-league stay remains to be seen, but with Dee Gordon and Dylan Moore both suffering from wrist injuries -- and the latter now on the injured list -- he'll have additional games with which to build on Friday's strong start.

Gordon (wrist) is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Red Sox, according to Shannon Drayer of 710 ESPN Seattle.

It was reported Friday that Gordon would miss several games because of his wrist injury, and as expected, he will be held out Saturday for the second day in a row despite the infielder reporting feeling better according to Jessica Camerato of MLB.com. Shed Long will make his big-league debut and start at second base in Gordon's place.

Seager was a late scratch Friday night due to a personal matter, Alanna Rizzo of Spectrum SportsNet LA reports.

Further details regarding Seager's status were not provided, but he was able to return to the Dodgers' dugout during the middle of the game. While Seager did not end up playing Friday, chances are he will be back in action Saturday night.

Diaz entered Friday's game during the first inning after Jose Altuve was removed with left hamstring discomfort, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Diaz replaced Altuve at second base and went 0-for-3 the rest of the way. The injury, which occurred when Altuve beat out an infield hit, is not considered serious, but it could lead to playing time for Diaz on Saturday and beyond depending on how careful the Astros want to be with Altuve.

Story went 3-for-5 with a two-run homer and a second run scored in Friday's 12-2 rout of the Padres.

He got the Rockies on the board in the third inning with a blast off Eric Lauer, Story's ninth homer of the year. The shortstop is putting together another stellar campaign and now boasts a .278/.353/.517 slash line through 38 games.

Anderson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs scored Friday night against the Blue Jays.

Anderson belted his seventh home run of the season in the fifth inning, cutting the deficit to two runs. The 25-year-old has been cooling off at the plate of late, but he's still slashing .328/.357/.522 with 21 RBI and 12 stolen bases over 35 contests in 2019.

Bogaerts went 2-for-5 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored Friday night against the Mariners.

Bogaerts was late to the hit party, but he tacked on an insurance run in the seventh with a double and drove in a run on a fielder's choice in the eighth. The 26-year-old shortstop has now hit safely in three consecutive contests and has driven in three runs over that span.

Mondesi went 1-for-3 with a walk, run and two steals in a 5-1 victory against the Phillies on Friday.

With two more successful stolen base attempts, Mondesi is now tied for the American League lead with 12 steals. He's been very efficient on his steal attempts, posting a success rate of 12-for-14 through 38 games. Owners would like to see Mondesi submit a higher on-base percentage than .314 so he can take more advantage of his speed, but he is recording a .516 slugging percentage. Mondesi is batting .277 with 21 extra-base hits -- including five home runs -- 33 RBI and 24 runs in 155 at-bats this season.
