Gordon went 2-for-4 with a stolen base and a run in a loss to the Cubs on Tuesday.

Gordon's bat has unexpectedly heated up over the last four games, a stretch during which he's churned out a trio of multi-hit efforts while driving in four runs. Tuesday's production pushed his season line to .279/.305/.366 and put him at the 20-steal threshold for the sixth consecutive campaign.

Crawford met with doctors about his strained hamstring prior to Tuesday's game and received an encouraging report, the Associated Press reports.

Manager Scott Servais reported that Crawford tested out "pretty good strength-wise", certainly encouraging news relatively early into his recovery timeline. Crawford was expected to miss at least a week of action when his shutdown was first announced Monday, and he presumably retains a chance of meeting the minimum end of that if he can continue making progress.

Abrams (shoulder) was named the MVP of the rookie-level Arizona League, Jeff Sanders of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

He only played in 32 games in the AZL before moving up to Low-A Fort Wayne, but Abrams did enough in those games to take home MVP honors. The 18-year-old hit a ridiculous .401/.442/.662 with three homers and 14 steals in 20 attempts. A bone bruise in his shoulder sidelined Abrams after two games with Fort Wayne and he did not make it back before the end of the TinCaps' season, but Abrams' performance during his first taste of pro ball should have Padres fans excited. Dynasty leaguers should expect to see Abrams go off the board within the first four picks of their first-year player draft.

Turner went 2-for-5 with a double, a stolen base, an RBI and a run Tuesday in the Nationals' 11-10 win over the Mets.

Turner has come up big in the first two games of the series with New York, notching two hits and a stolen base in both contests. He'll remain in the lineup for Wednesday's finale, starting at shortstop and batting leadoff versus Mets right-hander Zack Wheeler.

Lindor went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Tuesday against the White Sox.

Lindor took Dylan Cease deep in the first inning to record his 27th home run of the season. He now has six long balls in his last 11 games, scoring nine runs and driving in 11 in that span. The impressive stretch has only added to his standout season, as he has swiped 20 bases while also hitting .297/.349/.535 across 549 plate appearances.

Correa (back) hit off a tee Tuesday, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Correa has missed two weeks with back soreness. It's not clear exactly when he's expected to return, though he's trending in the right direction. The Astros have a 10.5-game division lead, though they're tied with the Yankees for the top spot in the American League, so they'll likely want to get their star shortstop back soon.

Urena was recalled by the Blue Jays on Tuesday.

The 23-year-old has gotten into 79 big-league games over the last three seasons but hasn't had much success at the plate, hitting .255/.302/.337 with just two homers and a 32.2 percent strikeout rate. He'll have to fight for playing time with a group of more highly-rated young infielders down the stretch.

Change is not starting Tuesday against the White Sox.

Chang sits after starting six straight games. He went 3-for-20 at the plate over that stretch. Ryan Flaherty will start at the hot corner in his absence.

Lindor went 2-for-4 with a walk, stolen base, RBI and two runs Monday in the Indians' 11-3 triumph over the White Sox.

Lindor's stolen base in the first inning was his 20th of the season, locking him in as a member of the 20-20 club for the second year in a row. The achievement is remarkable enough, but is rendered even more impressive considering Lindor didn't make his 2019 debut until April 20 while tending to a right calf strain and left ankle sprain suffered in the spring. Lindor should have ample opportunity to boost his counting stats throughout September, as he's in no danger of missing starts due to rest with the Indians locked in a tight battle for one of the American League's two available wild-card spots.

Baez (thumb) isn't in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against Seattle, Mark Gonzales of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Baez has been battling both a jammed left thumb and neck discomfort, so he'll be held out of the lineup for at least one more contest. The Cubs have a scheduled off day Wednesday before beginning a four-game series in Milwaukee, so Baez will benefit from an extra day of rest before his status for Chicago's upcoming series is determined.
