Edman went 2-for-3 with a walk, a double and a solo home run in Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Twins.

The 25-year-old took Trevor May deep in the eighth inning for his first homer of the season. Edman has gone 5-for-18 through the Cards' first four games with four RBI, and the early returns suggest his impressive rookie campaign last year was no fluke.

Anderson 4-for-9 with a home run, two doubles and three runs scored during Tuesday's doubleheader at Cleveland.

The 27-year-old had a strong start in the season opener with two hits and two runs scored, but he struggled in the following two games, going 0-for-9 with a run scored, a walk and three strikeouts. Anderson is now 6-for-23 with six runs scored and one home run through five games.

Lindor went 3-for-8 with a home run, a double, three runs scored and three RBI as Cleveland swept the White Sox in Tuesday's doubleheader.

The All-Star shortstop entered Tuesday's action 2-for-14 with one extra-base hit and five strikeouts through three games, so his performance in the the twin bill was a welcome sight. Lindor will look to build on that effort in Wednesday's series finale.

Baez went 3-for-5 with two home runs, a double, three RBI and three runs scored Tuesday against the Reds.

Baez came through with both of his home runs late in the game -- one in the seventh inning, the other in the ninth -- to help secure a win for the Cubs. They were his first two long balls of the season, though he now has two multi-hit efforts five games into the campaign. He'll look to stay hot Wednesday as the team continues its series in Cincinnati.

Berti and the rest of the Marlins won't take the field again this week due to the team's coronavirus outbreak, Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports.

Roughly half of the team's active roster has tested positive for COVID-19. It's not clear whether or not Berti is part of that group, but he won't play again until next Tuesday at the earliest.

Bichette (hamstring) remains on the bench Tuesday against the Nationals.

Bichette's absence isn't surprising, as he was expected to miss at least a couple of days due to a tight left hamstring. He remains day-to-day for now. Santiago Espinal starts at shortstop in his absence.

Adames will sit Tuesday against the Braves, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

Adames sits after starting each of the Rays' first four games. Joey Wendle will take over at shortstop.

Rojas tested positive for COVID-19, Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports.

Roughly half of the Marlins' active roster has reportedly tested positive, though the majority of the names haven't been made public. Rojas got off to an incredibly hot start in the opening series against the Phillies, going 7-for-10 with a homer and a steal, but it's not yet clear when he (or any of his teammates) will next take the field.

Crawford went 1-for-3 with a double, two walks and two runs in a loss to the Astros on Monday.

The hot-hitting shortstop pushed his early-season on-base percentage to .529 with Monday's effort, which saw Crawford reach safely for the third consecutive contest. Just as encouraging is the fact the 25-year-old has struck out just once in his first 17 plate appearances after averaging a whiff every 4.8 PAs in 2019. The usual caveats regarding the small four-game sample naturally apply, but Crawford's hot start is certainly a welcome sight under any circumstance after his unsightly .226/.313/.371 line in a career-high 93 games last season.

Adames went 1-for-3 with a double, a walk, a stolen base and a run in a win over the Braves on Monday.

Several of his teammates popped much bigger hits, but Adames' performance was nevertheless encouraging. The shortstop is rewarding the Rays and his fantasy managers early, hitting safely in three of his first four games with a pair of doubles, two RBI, three walks, Monday's steal and two runs overall.
