Jon Berti 3B | CHC
Marlins' Jon Berti: Shifts to 60-day IL
Berti (concussion) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Friday.
Berti was never likely to be activated for the final series of the season, so he'll move to the 60-day IL to free up a spot on the 40-man roster. The 31-year-old had been sidelined by the concussion since late July, though he was able to resume baseball activities in mid-September. The veteran utility man will now have a full offseason to continue h his recovery.

Crawford took Arizona starter Madison Bumgarner deep to left in the fourth inning for his sixth straight game with a hit. During the stretch, Crawford is 8-for-23 with three home runs and has helped raise his September slash line to a scorching .352/.449/.604 across 25 games.

Corey Seager SS | TEX
Dodgers' Corey Seager: Three more extra-base hits
Seager went 3-for-4 with a double and two solo home runs in an 8-3 triumph over San Diego on Thursday.
Seager went back-to-back with Mookie Betts to lead off the home half of the first inning, doubled in the third and launched another homer in the seventh for his third three-hit game this month. The shortstop has been raking of late, going 14-for-29 with three doubles, a triple and four home runs over his past seven games and posted a whopping 1.153 OPS in 26 September contests.

Wander Franco SS | TB
Rays' Wander Franco: On-base streak ends
Franco went 0-for-4 in a loss to the Astros on Thursday, ending his on-base streak at 43 games.
Franco showed no signs of cooling off in Tuesday's win over Houston, when he went 3-for-5 with a double to match the legendary Frank Robinson for the longest on-base streak by a player 20 years of age and under. The conclusion of Franco's phenomenal run came under bizarre conditions as well, as the rookie actually reached first base three times Thursday on two fielder's choice groundouts and an infield single that was ultimately reversed via instant replay. Despite the disappointment, Franco looks primed to not only play a pivotal role in the Rays' upcoming postseason run, but for many seasons to come as well.

Carlos Correa SS | HOU
Astros' Carlos Correa: Carries offense in victory
Correa went 1-for-3 with a three-run homer in Thursday's 3-2 win over Tampa Bay.
Correa's three-run long ball off Ryan Yarbrough in the fourth inning broke a scoreless tie and proved to be enough offense for the Astros. It was the 25th homer of the year for Correa, who had gone his previous seven games without an extra-base hit. The free-agent-to-be is slashing .277/.363/.480 with 91 RBI in 631 plate appearances this season.

Bo Bichette 3B | NYM
Blue Jays' Bo Bichette: Carries Jays to win with two homers
Bichette went 3-for-4 with two solo home runs in Wednesday's 6-5 win over the Yankees.
He took Gerrit Cole deep in the third inning to give the Jays a 4-0 lead, and then after the Yankees rallied to tie things up at 5-5 in the seventh, Bichette responded with his second blast of the night off Clay Holmes in the eighth. The 23-year-old is doing everything he can to get Toronto to the playoffs, reeling off three straight multi-hit performances and slashing .336/.360/.570 through 27 games in September with seven homers, four steals, 20 RBI and 21 runs.

Geraldo Perdomo SS | ARI
Diamondbacks' Geraldo Perdomo: Back in lineup
Perdomo started at shortstop and went 2-for-3 in Wednesday's 1-0 loss to San Francisco.
Perdomo, who was called up Sunday, made his second start in three games while serving as a pinch hitter in the other. He's hit in all three contests, going 4-for-6 with a double and a walk. He and Josh Rojas are sharing shortstop until the end of the season with Nick Ahmed (shoulder) done for the year. Looking ahead to 2022, the 31-year-old Ahmed still has two years left on his deal and the versatile Rojas has earned an everyday spot somewhere. It looks like Perdomo will build off the success he achieved in August at Double-A Amarillo while beginning 2022 at Triple-A Reno.
