Johan Camargo SS | SF
Braves' Johan Camargo: Participates in baseball activities Friday
Camargo (knee) was able to partake in some drills prior to Friday's game against the Reds, but is still likely a week away from embarking on a rehab assignment, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
Camargo has been out for over a week while dealing with a right knee bone bruise after injuring it running onto the field. The infielder is going to need an extended period of time while recovering from this unlucky break, as he will likely wind up playing a few games in the minors on a rehab assignment before returning to Atlanta.

Corey Seager SS | TEX
Dodgers' Corey Seager: Set to DH in series opener
Seager will serve as the designated hitter and bat second Friday against the Tigers.
Seager is seemingly dealing with some sort of right-arm issue, as he was seen testing the arm with trainers early Friday, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports. However, manager Dave Roberts said Seager is "fine," and the fact that Seager can still swing a bat at full intensity suggests as much. The Dodgers would likely use Seager at DH all weekend if they had to, to keep his bat in the lineup.

Orlando Arcia SS | MIN
Brewers' Orlando Arcia: Back in lineup Friday
Arcia (back) will return to the lineup for Friday's series opener in Colorado, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
Arcia was forced to miss the past two games while dealing with back spasms, but is ready to play after the team received a scheduled day off Thursday. He's back in his typical spot at short while batting eighth in the order.

Allen Cordoba SS | CIN
Padres' Allen Cordoba: Comes off bench to steal base
Cordoba entered Thursday's game as a pinch hitter, walking and stealing his second base of the season in a 2-1 loss to Washington.
Cordoba hasn't started a game since July 26 despite a constant spot on the 25-man roster. The 21-year-old's production tailed off after a hot start to the season, and he currently owns a disappointing .219/.293/.315 slash line in 208 plate appearances. The Padres' regular fourth outfielder, Matt Szczur, is away from the team on paternity leave, so Cordoba could see a rare start should any of the club's starting outfielders receive a maintenance day.

Javier Baez SS | DET
Cubs' Javier Baez: Hits solo bomb in loss to Reds
Baez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run during Thursday's loss to Cincinnati.
With 19 round trippers for the campaign, Baez is quickly closing in on the 20-homer mark. He's really turned up his production in the second half and has nine home runs, 20 RBI and 17 runs through his past 25 games. Baez is taking advantage of his full-time role with Addison Russell (foot) on the disabled list, and the versatile infielder is building a strong case to be moved to the keystone and continue to playing every day when Russell returns.

Gavin Cecchini SS | NYM
Mets' Gavin Cecchini: Recalled from Las Vegas
Cecchini was called up from Triple-A Las Vegas on Thursday, Marc Carig of Newsday reports.
With a slew of injuries hitting New York's infield -- Jose Reyes (oblique) and Wilmer Flores (ribs) -- Cecchini will rejoin the big-league club to provide some more depth up the middle. In five appearances with the Mets this season, the 23-year-old has gone 4-for-14 with one home run and two RBI, and has been seeing the ball tremendously well at the Triple-A level as of late. Throughout the last 10 games for Las Vegas, Cecchini is slashing .349/.429/.512 from the plate.

Trevor Story SS | BOS
Rockies' Trevor Story: Knocks pair of homers, drives in six
Story went 3-for-4 with two homers, six RBI and a walk in Wednesday's win over the Braves.
Story played a key role in Colorado's 17-2 thrashing of the Braves, as he produced more than a third of the runs while recording his first multi-homer game of the season. He also struck out for the 19th straight game, leaving his strikeout rate at an ugly 35.9, though his 31.3 percent strikeout rate last season ultimately didn't stop him from posting a .909 OPS with 27 homers. Story will look to keep things rolling, as he now has three bombs in his last two games -- and 18 on the season -- after having just one in his previous 14 contests.

Trea Turner SS | PHI
Nationals' Trea Turner: Transferred to 60-day DL
Turner (wrist) was moved to the 60-day disabled list prior to Wednesday's game, Dan Kolko of MASN Sports reports.
As Kolko acknowledged, this move will not impact Turner's timetable whatsoever, as the 24-year-old is still a couple weeks away from his return, at the earliest. The club transferred Turner to the 60-day DL due to Brian Goodwin's placement on the disabled list (groin), in order to free up a spot on the 40-man roster for Alejandro De Aza.

Orlando Arcia SS | MIN
Brewers' Orlando Arcia: Remains out Wednesday
Arcia (back) is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Pirates.
Arcia will stay on the bench for the second straight game as Eric Sogard picks up another start at shortstop. The 23-year-old was scratched just hours prior to Tuesday's series opener with back spasms, and although it's unclear whether Arcia is still dealing with the injury or just recovering from the setback, he will receive added rest as Milwaukee gets a scheduled day off Thursday before beginning a road trip in Colorado.

Miguel Rojas SS | LAD
Marlins' Miguel Rojas: Out of lineup Wednesday
Rojas is not in the lineup against the Giants on Wednesday, Andre Fernandez of the Miami Herald reports.
Rojas will occupy a spot on the bench following eight straight starts, going 7-for-27 with one extra-base hit during that span. In his place, Mike Aviles will pick up a start at shortstop, batting eighth.
