Paul DeJong SS | DET
Cardinals' Paul DeJong: Singles in rain-shortened second rehab game
DeJong (hand) went 1-for-2 in a rain-shortened game between Triple-A Memphis and Iowa on Saturday.
The contest was suspended after four innings and will resume Sunday before the regularly scheduled game, but DeJong at least was able to get two at-bats in. He's now 2-for-5 over his first two games with the Redbirds and may not need too many more appearances before being deemed ready for activation.

Javier Baez SS | DET
Cubs' Javier Baez: Two more hits Saturday
Baez was 2-for-6 with two runs and two RBI in Saturday's 14-9 victory over the Twins.
After starting June by going 2-for-25, Baez is now 25-for-60 with four stolen bases, 11 extra-base hits and 13 RBI since June 11. The 25-year-old is now slashing .285/.321/.559 with 16 home runs, 59 RBI and is 13-for-14 in stolen-base attempts this year.

Nick Ahmed SS | TEX
Diamondbacks' Nick Ahmed: Heads to bench Saturday
Ahmed is not in the lineup Saturday against the Giants.
Ahmed is hitting just .162 in his last 10 games. Ketel Marte will slide over to shortstop Saturday, with Daniel Descalso starting at second base.

Paul DeJong SS | DET
Cardinals' Paul DeJong: Doubles in first rehab game
DeJong (hand) went 1-for-3 with a double and a run in Triple-A Memphis' win over Iowa on Friday.
It was an encouraging start for what's expected to be a relatively short rehab assignment for DeJong. Jenifer Langosch of MLB.com reports that because the infielder has already been participating in baseball activities for multiple weeks, he shouldn't need too many reps at the minor-league level before being deemed ready for activation. DeJong received official clearance to face live pitching after undergoing a scan of his surgically repaired left hand Thursday.

Orlando Arcia SS | MIN
Brewers' Orlando Arcia: Out of lineup Saturday
Arcia is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Reds.
Arcia went 0-for-5 with three strikeouts during Friday's game and is 3-for-23 over his past nine games. Brad Miller will lead off and start at shortstop while Arcia's season-long struggles at the plate continue.
-
Miguel Rojas SS | LAD
Marlins' Miguel Rojas: Out of Saturday's lineup
Rojas is out of Saturday's lineup against the Mets, Clark Spencer of the Miami Herald reports.
He recently returned from a minor hand injury, and is hitting just .218 with zero home runs in 78 at-bats in June. JT Riddle will start at shortstop while Yadiel Rivera gets the nod at the hot corner.

Dansby Swanson SS | CHC
Braves' Dansby Swanson: Bangs out three hits Friday
Swanson went 3-for-4 with an RBI in Friday's win over the Cardinals.
The shortstop continues to flash occasional sparks at the plate, but for the most part June has been rough for Swanson -- even with Friday's performance, he's still slashing just .240/.270/.469 this month. The collapse of his plate discipline seems to be the big driver of his struggles, as Swanson's 6.2 percent walk rate in 2018 is the lowest of his career at any professional level, while his 25.3 percent strikeout rate is the worst of his career.
-
Johan Camargo SS | SF
Braves' Johan Camargo: Three hits in Friday's win
Camargo went 3-for-5 with a double, two runs scored and two RBI in Friday's win over the Cardinals.
The 24-year-old is enjoying an impressive hot streak right now, slashing .375/.419/.550 over his last 10 games with a homer and 11 RBI. He's now boosted his slash line on the season to .253/.356/.435, and with top prospect Austin Riley battling a knee injury at Triple-A Gwinnett, Camargo wouldn't appear to have any competition for the Braves' starting job at third base -- at least not from within the organization.
-
Trea Turner SS | PHI
Nationals' Trea Turner: Flashes power and speed Friday
Turner went 3-for-5 with a walk, a home run, a stolen base, four runs scored and two RBI in Friday's 17-7 rout of the Phillies.
His two-run blast off Nick Pivetta in the first inning kicked off a seven-homer barrage for the Nats. Turner now has nine home runs and 22 steals on the season to go along with his .270/.353/.411 slash line, but he's found another gear lately, slashing .368/.442/.605 over his last 10 games.

Javier Baez SS | DET
Cubs' Javier Baez: Not in Friday's lineup
Baez is out of the lineup against the Twins on Friday.
Baez will retreat to the bench, and likely land on the paternity list, following the birth of his son prior to Friday's contest. In his place, Ben Zobrist will man second base and bat third in the order.
