Miguel Rojas SS | LAD
Marlins' Miguel Rojas: Reaches deal with Marlins
Rojas signed a one-year, $3.155 million contract with the Marlins on Friday, avoiding arbitration, Clark Spencer of the Miami Herald reports.
Rojas had a .252/.297/.346 slash line with 11 home runs in 2018 as he exceeded 300 at-bats for the first time in his major-league career. The 29-year-old's defense and positional versatility remain his best assets as his work at the plate makes him an nonviable fantasy option.

Trea Turner SS | PHI
Nationals' Trea Turner: Agrees to deal with Nationals
Turner and the Nationals avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $3.725 million deal Friday, Robert Murray of The Athletic reports.
Turner appeared in all 162 games for Washington last season, hitting a career-high 19 homers while swiping 43 bags. He'll be the Nationals' everyday shortstop again this year.

Rosell Herrera SS | KC
Marlins' Rosell Herrera: Claimed by Marlins
Herrera was claimed off waivers by the Marlins on Wednesday, Clark Spencer of the Miami Herald reports.
Herrera was cast off the Royals' roster after a forgettable debut season in which he hit .234/.286/.317 in 86 games between Cincinnati and Kansas City. He has offer defensive versatility, having played second, third and all three outfield positions in 2018, and that will only help his odds of winning a bench role. He'll join one of the easiest organizations in which to earn playing time in Miami, but it would be a surprise to see him producing at a fantasy-relevant level this season.

Jeter Downs SS | NYY
Dodgers' Jeter Downs: Headlines blockbuster return
Downs was traded to the Dodgers along with Josiah Gray and Homer Bailey in exchange for Yasiel Puig, Alex Wood and Matt Kemp, Jeff Passan of Yahoo Sports reports.
Downs is probably the most valuable player in this entire trade -- a shortstop with a good hit tool, developing power and good speed. He hit .257/.351/.402 with 13 home runs, 37 steals and a strikeout rate below 20 percent (19.7) at Low-A last year. Downs should enjoy the hitter-friendly conditions in the California League in his age 20/21 season.

Allen Cordoba SS | CIN
Padres' Allen Cordoba: Fully healthy
Cordoba (thumb) is playing in the Panamanian Winter League, Bill Center of MLB.com reports.
Cordoba is apparently back to health and participating in winter ball after undergoing season-ending thumb surgery in August. The 23-year-old slashed .206/.233/.310 across 45 games with High-A Lake Elsinore in 2018 before being cast off San Diego's 40-man roster.

Corey Seager SS | TEX
Dodgers' Corey Seager: Continues smooth recovery
Seager (elbow) has transitioned from rehab to training and remains on track in his recovery process, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.
Seager is still making his way back from Tommy John surgery that took place in May of 2018. The Dodgers feel good about how he's progressing to this point, although they'll evaluate him further in January. If all goes according to plan, Seager should be ready to play on Opening Day.

Jon Berti 3B | CHC
Marlins' Jon Berti: SIgns minor-league deal with Miami
Berti signed a minor-league deal with an invitation to spring training with the Marlins on Monday, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.
Berti reached the majors for the first time as a 28-year-old with the Blue Jays in late September, appearing in four games. He has a career .212/.290/.303 slash line over parts of four seasons at the Triple-A level.

Johan Camargo SS | SF
Braves' Johan Camargo: Slated for utility role
The Braves are planning to use Camargo in a "Marwin Gonzalez-type role" in 2019, David O'Brien of The Athletic reports.
Josh Donaldson was brought in on a one-year deal, but it sounds like Camargo will continue to play regularly between the infield and outfield, though not quite every day. Camargo performed well above replacement level last season, hitting 19 home runs and posting a 115 wRC+ over 524 plate appearances. He's still very much in the mix for deep mixed leagues.

Allen Cordoba SS | CIN
Padres' Allen Cordoba: Outrighted to minors
Cordoba (thumb) was outrighted to Triple-A El Paso on Monday.
Cordoba, who was designated for assignment last week, was sent to El Paso after passing through waivers unclaimed. The soon-to-be 23-year-old hit .206/.233/.310 across 45 games with High-A Lake Elsinore in 2018 before undergoing season-ending surgery in August.

Allen Cordoba SS | CIN
Padres' Allen Cordoba: Dropped from 40-man roster
Cordoba (thumb) was designated for assignment by the Padres on Tuesday.
Cordoba slashed .206/.233/.310 in 45 games with High-A Lake Elsinore before undergoing season-ending surgery on his left thumb in mid-August. A former Rule 5 pick himself, Cordoba was DFA'd along with a handful of other players so the Padres could protect prospects from the Rule 5 draft.
