Winn went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Monday's 3-2 win over the Dodgers.

Winn continues to hit well since the All-Star break -- he's gone 21-for-60 (.350) over his last 16 games. His homer Monday was his first since June 24 versus the Cubs. The shortstop has struggled to tap into power this year, logging eight homers and 24 doubles through 101 games after posting 15 long balls and 32 two-baggers over 150 games a year ago. Winn has added a .270/.325/.395 slash line, six stolen bases, 42 RBI and 60 runs scored in 2025.

Swanson went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in Monday's 3-2 loss to the Reds.

Swanson swatted his first home run since July 13 in the third inning, giving him 17 long balls for the season to go along with 54 RBI across 110 contests. In 14 games since that last homer, the Chicago shortstop had fallen into a 10-for-50 slump with 22 strikeouts before leaving the yard Monday. Swanson should still play nearly every day despite his recent downturn in production, though the acquisition of Willi Castro before the trade deadline gives the Cubs another option in the middle infield, which could lead to more days off for both Swanson and Nico Hoerner moving forward.

Betts will continue to hit in the top two spots of the batting order despite his recent struggles, Alden Gonzalez of ESPN.com reports.

Manager Dave Roberts stated in his pregame presser that moving Betts down in the order isn't in the game plan at this time. "You've got to think of the alternatives. How guys are swinging right now and the way I look at our lineup and the way guys are swinging, there's not better alternative," said Roberts. "Also, given that Will Smith doesn't play every day, you're trying to not mix and match the top of the order when the catcher plays three out of four or whatever it is. So that's kind of the math." Betts has been scuffling at the dish for a good part of the last month, slashing .167/.219/.265 with two home runs, seven RBI, two stolen bases and 12 runs scored over his last 26 matchups but should continue to see opportunities to produce atop the Dodgers' batting order.

The Rockies announced Monday that Ritter (finger) has resumed swinging a bat, MLB.com reports.

Ritter isn't yet swinging at 100 percent, as he's been trying to avoid putting pressure on his right middle finger, which was hit by a pitch on a bunt attempt in a July 19 game. The rookie infielder suffered a significant laceration on the finger but has since had his stitches removed. The Rockies haven't indicated when Ritter might be ready to head out on a minor-league rehab assignment.

Lindor went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Sunday's loss to the Giants.

The shortstop gave the Mets an early lead by launching his 21st homer of the year off Carson Whisenhunt in the first inning, but things unraveled quickly for New York after that in a 12-4 rout. Lindor has found a groove at the plate again, slashing .310/.370/.524 over the last 10 games with three doubles, two homers, one steal, seven runs and nine RBI.

Atlanta recalled Ornelas from Triple-A Gwinnett on Monday.

Just one day after being swapped off the active roster, Ornelas will rejoin Atlanta to replace outfielder Jarred Kelenic, who was optioned to Triple-A as part of a series of moves Monday. Ornelas is capable of playing three infield spots and can handle spot duty in the outfield. The 25-year-old has slashed .202/.320/.300 with six home runs and six steals in 79 games at Triple-A this season.

The Brewers will promote Pena from Single-A Carolina to High-A Wisconsin this week, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Pena will head to the Midwest League after slashing .308/.375/.469 with six home runs and 41 stolen bases across 309 plate appearances for Carolina. The 18-year-old has split time between shortstop and third base this season along with fellow top prospect Jesus Made, who is also set to move up to High-A this week. Pena and Made should continue to play regularly alongside one another on the left side of the Wisconsin infield for the rest of the season.

Kiner-Falefa is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies.

Liover Peguero will move over to shortstop Sunday after a massive three-homer game as the first baseman Saturday, leaving no room in the lineup for Kiner-Falefa. Even if Peguero is handed an everyday role at shortstop over the final two months of the season, Kiner-Falefa could retain playing time by shifting over to third base, where Pittsburgh has an opening after trading Ke'Bryan Hayes to Cincinnati.

Atlanta returned Ornelas to Triple-A Gwinnett on Sunday.

Ornelas was added to the big-league roster Saturday for Atlanta's matchup with the Reds in the MLB Speedway Classic in Bristol, Tenn., which was ultimately suspended in the first inning after a couple rain delays. With Atlanta needing an extra arm for the continuation of the game Sunday, right-hander Hurston Waldrep was called up from Triple-A to replace Ornelas as the team's 27th man.

Peguero went 3-for-5 with three home runs and five RBI during Saturday's 8-5 loss to the Rockies.

Peguero supplied all of the runs for the Pirates on Saturday, and he did so in a big way. He followed up a leadoff homer with a a three-run blast to left field in the fifth to give Pittsburgh a 4-0 lead, and he capped off his big night with a solo shot with two outs in the ninth. Peguero extended his hitting streak to five games, during which he's gone 7-for-19 (.368) with one steal, four long balls and seven RBI. Though he lacks a direct path to an everyday role at the moment, Peguero is capable of playing all over the infield and could earn steadier at-bats as a result of Saturday's breakout performance.
