Perdomo went 1-for-2 with two walks, a stolen base, two RBI and a run scored in Thursday's 6-4 win at Miami.

After launching his third homer of the season Wednesday -- already matching his 2024 total -- Perdomo followed it up with another productive performance in Thursday's series finale. The shortstop has been one of the biggest surprises in baseball early in 2025, as he's tied for fifth in MLB with 18 RBI and has a .317/.427/.492 slash line through 84 plate appearances.

Winn (back) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Memphis on Friday, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Winn has ramped up his baseball activities this week and is ready to test things out in a game setting. Barring a setback, he is on pace to be activated from the 10-day injured list when first eligible Tuesday. Winn has missed nearly a week of action with lower-back spasms.

Edwards went 2-for-5 with a walk, an RBI and a run scored during Thursday's 6-4 loss to the Diamondbacks.

Edwards is without an extra-base hit in his past nine contests, but he's still providing plenty of production atop the lineup with a .400 batting average (16-for-40) and eight walks during a 10-game hit streak. The 25-year-old entered the day tied for fifth in MLB with six stolen bases and also has 11 runs and seven RBI through 85 plate appearances.

Kiner-Falefa went 2-for-4 with a run scored Wednesday against the Nationals.

Kiner-Falefa has struggled at the plate after a relatively hot start to the year, as he has just four hits across his last 25 at-bats (eight games) after Wednesday's multi-hit effort. He's also slowed on the basepaths, failing to tally a stolen base since March 31 while being caught on his last two attempts.

De La Cruz went 1-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base and was caught stealing in Wednesday's 5-3 loss to Seattle.

De La Cruz had an eventful night on the basepaths. In the fourth inning, he walked and stole second, before he was caught leaning and picked off trying to steal third. He then reached base via a single in the eighth inning and tried stealing second base, but he was ruled out when Austin Hays, who had struck out, interfered with the catcher's ability to throw. The successful steal was the fourth in 18 games for De La Cruz, who is behind his pace for last season when he swiped 67 bags.

Tovar was scratched from the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Dodgers due to left hip pain, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

The severity of Tovar's injury remains unknown, but it's enough to prevent him from playing in Wednesday's contest. Kyle Farmer will shift to shortstop while Tovar rests, opening up second base for Adael Amador.

Nunez will start at shortstop and bat ninth in Wednesday's game against the Pirates.

With Paul DeJong (nose) joining CJ Abrams (hip) on the injured list Tuesday, Nunez looks as though he could have a clear path to regular playing time in the short term. He had already started at shortstop in the Nationals' previous two games, going 4-for-7 with a double, a stolen base, two runs and two RBI.

The Pirates optioned Cheng to Triple-A Indianapolis on Wednesday,

Cheng was with the big club for a little over a week and didn't play much, going hitless in seven at-bats. He's clearing out to make room on the roster for Jared Triolo's (back) return from the 10-day injured list.

Abrams (hip) did some running on the field Tuesday, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Abrams has also hit in the batting cage and is "definitely making good progress," per Nationals manager Dave Martinez. There is optimism Abrams will be ready for activation when first eligible April 22, but he'll first need to show he can make lateral movements at shortstop without discomfort in his right hip.

Cardinals manager Oliver Marmol said Wednesday that Winn (back) is "on pace" to be activated from the 10-day injured list when first eligible Tuesday, John Denton of MLB.com reports.

Winn has begun hitting in the batting cage and playing catch as he ramps up his baseball activities. He will remain in St. Louis this weekend to continue rehabbing while the Cardinals head out on a road trip. The Cardinals begin a series in Atlanta on Monday and Winn could be activated ahead of the second game of that series Tuesday.
