Adrianza will start at shortstop and bat seventh Sunday against the Athletics, LaVelle E. Neal III of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Adrianza will pick up his third start in four games, and should remain one of the main beneficiaries of manager Paul Molitor phasing the struggling Jorge Polanco out of the lineup. Along with Polanco, Eduardo Escobar is still in the mix for starts at shortstop, but Escobar's ability to play other positions should allow Adrianza to see semi-regular at-bats so long as his production warrants it. Adrianza is batting .293 and has chipped in six steals across 95 plate appearances with the big club this season.

Bogaerts went 2-for-4 with a walk in Saturday's 9-8 win over the Royals.

Bogaerts snapped an 0-for-18 skid when he singled in the fourth inning Saturday. He was originally out of the lineup but was inserted when Eduardo Nunez moved to second base to cover for the injured Dustin Pedroia (knee). With Pedroia expected back Sunday, perhaps Bogaerts will get that day off.

Bogaerts has been added to Saturday's starting lineup, Tim Britton of The Providence Journal reports.

He was originally slated to ride the pine, but Bogaerts was inserted into the lineup following Dustin Pedroia's scratch. Bogaerts has hit just .128/.180/.170 since the All-Star break while battling through groin and hand injuries.

Bogaerts is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Royals, The Providence Journal's Tim Britton reports.

Bogaerts retreats to the bench after starting the past three games and going 0-for-13 with four strikeouts during that span. Manager John Farrell likely wants his shortstop to clear his head and continue to recover from groin and hand injuries that have plagued him for an extended period of time. Eduardo Nunez draws the start in his place.

Anderson, who is struggling during his second season in MLB, is still viewed as part of the White Sox's rebuild, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

This season has been a difficult one for Anderson, who went 0-for-4 on Thursday and is hitting .239 through 88 games. One scout feels Anderson was rushed last season and is still figuring out the majors. Fantasy owners are certainly disappointed with Anderson but the White Sox are taking a longer view.

Bogaerts, who has suffered groin and hand injuries, is not expected to land on the disabled list according to manager John Farrell, Ryan Hannable of WEEI.com reports.

Farrell said Bogaerts looks fine when taking batting practice and that it's only a matter of timing in games. "He's going to have to work through it," said the manager. Since injuring his groin earlier this month, Bogaerts has gone 8-for-56 (.143) over 15 games. Getting hit by a pitch on his hand certainly hasn't helped matters. For now, the Red Sox will keep him active, but should they decide to go the DL route, there's a legitimate plan B after Boston acquired Eduardo Nunez from the Giants.

Bogaerts (illness) went hitless in five at-bats with a walk and three strikeouts in Tuesday's extra-inning loss to the Mariners.

After being a late scratch in Monday's game due to an illness, Bogaerts returned in underwhelming fashion. Since being dropped to sixth in the order on July 18, the shortstop is 3-for-21 with six strikeouts, so it doesn't appear that he'll be reclaiming his spot towards the top of the order anytime soon.

Bichette (hand) is in the lineup for High-A Dunedin on Tuesday, John Lott of The Athletic Toronto reports.

The top prospect left Monday's contest after being hit on the hand by a pitch, but it seems like there are no lingering effects from the incident. Bichette will look to continue his torrid hitting with Dunedin (.385/.431/.481).

Bogaerts (illness) is back in the lineup for Tuesday's contest with the Mariners, batting sixth and playing shortstop, Bob Dutton of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.

The young shortstop was scratched from Monday's contest with an illness, but it seems like a night off was just what the doctor ordered. Bogaerts will resume his normal role in the lineup, bumping Deven Marrero back to the bench.

Bichette was removed from High-A Dunedin's game Monday after being struck in the right hand by a pitch. X-rays following the contest came back negative, according to John Lott of The Athletic Toronto.

It sounds like Bichette is still dealing with some soreness and is being listed as day-to-day, but he was fortunate to avoid any sort of fracture to his hand that may have derailed his season. The shortstop has been in the Florida State League for less than a month after opening the campaign with Low-A Lansing, but his bat hasn't cooled down since his promotion. In 13 games with Dunedin, Bichette is batting .385/.431/.481 with a home run and three steals.
