Gordon was placed on the 10-day disabled list Tuesday with a fractured right big toe.

Gordon originally injured his big toe against the Blue Jays earlier in the month, but was able to return after missing just one game. The speedster apparently re-injured the toe in Sunday's extra-innings win over the Tigers -- which is somewhat surprising given he stole a base and scored the winning run -- and will now require a stay on the DL to get over the issue. The severity of the injury, along with a possible timetable for his return, remains unclear at the moment, but this is yet another tough blow for the Mariners. Dan Vogelbach was recalled from Triple-A Tacoma in a corresponding roster move, while Gordon Beckham appears to be the most likely option to take over at second base in Gordon's absence.

Adames is slashing .311/.387/.466 with 12 extra-base hits (five doubles, three triples, four home runs) and 25 RBI across 173 plate appearances for Triple-A Durham.

The dynamic prospect's batting average and on-base percentage are both career-best figures. Now having logged 751 plate appearances at the Triple-A level over the last season-plus, Adames appears big-league ready. However, as is common practice, the Rays are likely delaying a callup until later in the season with the intent of pushing Adames' arbitration eligibility as far as possible into the future, Bill Chastain of MLB.com reports. That partly helps explain why the recent hamstring injury to Adeiny Hechavarria didn't immediately yield a promotion for Adames, but he certainly appears likely to make his highly-anticipated MLB debut sometime in 2018.

Anderson went 1-for-4 with a run scored and a stolen base in Sunday's 3-0 win over the Rangers.

Anderson, who opened the year with 11 attempted steals (10 successful) over the first 30 games, had gone 12 games without an attempt before stealing his 11th on Sunday. With 11 steals over 43 games, Anderson is well on his way to surpass the career-high 15 he set in 2017.

Urena was optioned to Triple-A Buffalo on Sunday, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Urena will be sent down to the minor leagues after slashing .278/.278/.444 through 11 games for the Blue Jays. He's bounced around between the big leagues and the minors during the first few months of the season, and he figures to return if another injury is suffered by a Toronto infielder.

Gordon went 1-for-5 with a two-run double in a win over the Tigers on Saturday.

The Mariners' new full-time second baseman was part of a four-run sixth, lacing a two-bagger to shallow right field that plated Ryon Healy and Mike Zunino. The 30-year-old had been mired in a 1-for-16 slump over the prior four games, but due to a scorching hot start to May, Gordon is still hitting .300 over 70 at-bats during the month.

Adrianza is not in the lineup Sunday against the Brewers, Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Adrianza is currently hitting just .205 and has yet to record a multi-hit game this season. The light-hitting infielder also hasn't notched an extra-base hit since May 5. He'll be given the afternoon off with Gregorio Petit filling in at shorstop.

Bogaerts is not in the lineup Sunday against the Orioles, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.

Bogaerts will retreat to the bench after starting each of the last 19 games for the Red Sox, slashing .247/.293/.455 with four homers and 13 RBI over that stretch. Brock Holt will handle shortstop duties in the starter's absence. The Red Sox are off Monday, so look for Bogaerts to rejoin the starting nine Tuesday in Tampa Bay.

Correa went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Saturday's loss to the Indians.

Correa sent a Corey Kluber offering 416 feet to put the Astros on the board in the sixth inning, marking his eighth home run of the season. He had been scuffling over his last two weeks, slashing .214/.365/.429 in 42 at-bats heading into Saturday, but Correa's homer off Kluber should serve as a reminder that he can get hot at any time.

Wendle is not in the lineup Saturday against left-hander Andrew Heaney and the Angels.

Wendle has started against every righty and sat against every lefty so far this season. With Daniel Robertson needed at shortstop to deputize for the injured Adeiny Hechavarria (hamstring), Christian Arroyo will start at second base for the first time this season.

Diaz (ankle) has begun a running progression and could begin a rehab assignment late next week, Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet.ca reports.

He is now running and hitting and will be reassessed before potentially beginning a rehab assignment in about a week. Given that timetable, he could return in late May or early June. Gio Urshela and Richard Urena are splitting time at shortstop while Diaz and Troy Tulowitzki (heel) are on the disabled list. Tulowitzki continues to make progress and could return shortly after Diaz, which will complicate matters in the Blue Jays' infield.
