Indians' Francisco Lindor: Steals two bases
Lindor went 0-for-3 with a walk, a run scored and two stolen bases in Friday's win over the Rays.
After reaching base via walk in the eighth inning, Lindor proceeded to steal second and third base before scoring on a single from Michael Brantley. The 24-year-old is now sitting at 22 stolen bases on the season, marking the first time in his career he's surpassed 20 steals. Lindor also has 29 homers and a .286/.363/.523 slash line through 132 games this season.

Mariners' Dee Gordon: Productive from bottom of order
Gordon went 2-for-4 with an RBI infield single in a win over the Athletics on Thursday.
The veteran drew the start at shortstop with Jean Segura (shin) a late scratch. Gordon manged to hit safely for the seventh time in the last eight games, but he still sports just a .205 average (17-for-83) in August largely due to a 3-for-31 tally over his first eight contests of the month.

Twins' Ehire Adrianza: Clubs two-run homer vs. Indians
Adrianza went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in Thursday's 5-3 loss to Cleveland.
Adrianza made the Indians pay in the fifth inning after they committed a throwing error, as he launched a two-run blast over the fence in right field. The 29-year-old is batting .260 with two home runs and seven RBI through 19 games in August. However, don't expect him to serve as much of a power threat down the stretch as he's hit just six home runs over 92 contests in 2018.

Anderson (ankle) will start at shortstop and bat fifth against Boston on Thursday.
Anderson returns to the lineup after sitting out Wednesday's contest due to a bruised left ankle. He should be fully operational moving forward. Across 128 games this year, Anderson has hit .247/.291/.418 with 17 home runs, 58 RBI and 25 stolen bases.

Wendle plated a couple runs on a two-out single in the first inning and extended a four-game multi-hit streak. The 28-year-old has been flashing his speed lately as well, as he's also swiped four bases in that span, making him 12-for-16 on the season.

Royals' Adalberto Mondesi: Homers in second straight game
Mondesi went 2-for-3 with a homer, a triple, a walk, four RBI and an additional run scored in Wednesday's win over the Tigers.
Mondesi put the Royals up 2-1 in the second inning with his two-run shot off Michael Fulmer, and he extended the lead twice with a run-scoring triple in the fourth and an RBI walk in the fifth. The 23-year-old has homered in consecutive games, bringing his season total to six through 48 games.

Wendle went 2-for-5 with a stolen base and a run in a loss to the Braves on Tuesday.
Wendle has now rattled off three straight two-hit games and has nine multi-hit efforts in August overall. The valued utility man has pushed his average ever close to the .300 mark with his impressive month at the plate, one that's seen him drive in 16 runs and generate a stellar .366 on-base percentage over 94 plate appearances.

Anderson (ankle) is not in Wednesday's lineup against the Yankees.
Anderson will be withheld from the starting nine after exiting Tuesday's outing due to a bruised left ankle. He isn't expected to miss an extended period of time -- Anderson anticipated being in Wednesday's lineup. Jose Rondon will start at shortstop in his absence.
