Diaz went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer and an additional run scored in Wednesday's win over the Rays.

Diaz helped chase Tyler Glasnow in the first inning with his three-run homer, which put the Blue Jays up 6-0 in what was a seven-run inning. The 28-year-old also added a double and scored in the sixth inning. He's now hit safely in three straight games and is slashing .254/.291/.448 with 17 homers across 109 games this season.

Correa is out of the lineup against Minnesota on Wednesday.

Correa will receive a standard day off for the first time since returning from the DL on Aug. 10. Since that date, he's hit just .171/.260/.220 with one home run, 12 RBI and 20 strikeouts in 23 games. Alex Bregman will start at shortstop in his absence. Look for Correa to rejoin the lineup Friday in Boston.

Mondesi is out of the lineup against Cleveland on Wednesday, Joel Goldberg of Fox Sports Kansas City reports.

Mondesi will take a seat after starting six of the previous seven games as the Royals wrap up a three-game set versus the Indians. Alcides Escobar will man the shortstop position and bat eighth in the lineup for Wednesday's matinee.

Bogaerts is out of the starting lineup versus Atlanta on Wednesday, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.

Bogaerts will receive a regular day off for the series finale after going 1-for-3 with a double, an RBI and two walks during Tuesday's victory. Brock Holt will start at shortstop and bat seventh in his absence.

Fletcher led off and went 3-for-4 with a double, a stolen base and a run scored in Tuesday's loss to Texas.

Fletcher moved into the leadoff spot with Kole Calhoun getting the day off and showcased his contact and speed in the brief lineup promotion. The rookie infielder has been heating up at the plate, batting .342 (13-for-38) with two stolen bases over his last nine contests. Fletcher's power has been absent (just one extra-base hit over that span), but he is proving that he can be a table-setter in front of the Halos' sluggers.

Urena was recalled by the Blue Jays on Tuesday and is batting ninth and playing shortstop against the Rays.

The 22-year-old received 49 plate appearances for the Jays earlier in the season, hitting a respectable .273/.333/.409. He has the ability to play around the infield and could see time at multiple positions down the stretch.

Wendle went 3-for-4 with a double and a run in a win over the Blue Jays on Monday.

Wendle had been steady but unspectacular at the plate for most of the first half, but he's taken his game to another level since the All-Star break. The 28-year-old is slashing an impressive .341/.386/.507 with a .380 wOBA over 154 plate appearances in the second half of the campaign while remaining in the lineup at different positions on a near-everyday basis. Additionally, Wendle has made up for modest power by generating a .304 average over his 212 plate appearances with runners on base, leading to a respectable 49 RBI despite just seven home runs.

Lindor went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 5-1 loss to the Royals.

Lindor prevented the Indians from being shut out, clubbing a solo homer in the ninth inning to get his team on the board. He continues to put together a stellar year, as he sits with 71 extra-base hits, 79 RBI, 22 stolen bases and a .883 OPS through 135 contests.

Bichette will not be promoted to the majors this season, Mike Wilner of Sportsnet 590 The Fan reports.

The Blue Jays will hold off on promoting Bichette and fellow super-prospect Vladimir Guerrero Jr. in order to gain extra team control. The 20-year-old compiled an impressive .286/.344/.450 line to go with 11 homers and 32 steals across 130 games with Double-A New Hampshire this season. He's on pace to reach the majors sometime in 2019, though he'll likely report to Triple-A to open the campaign.

Adames is not starting Monday against the Blue Jays, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Adames sits for just the second time in the Rays' last 27 games. He's hit an excellent .322/.410/.494 with four homers and five steals over that stretch. Joey Wendle will get the start at shortstop in his absence.
