Bobby Witt SS | KC
Royals' Bobby Witt: Heating up at Double-A
Witt has gone 6-for-12 with four solo home runs and a walk over his last three games at Double-A Northwest Arkansas.
After a sluggish start to the Double-A campaign, Witt has pushed OPS up to .799 thanks to his big surge in the power department over the past few days. The Royals' timeline for calling up their top prospect remains unclear, but Witt will make it tough for the organization to justify keeping him on the farm if he continues to rake. His power-speed combo makes him worth a speculative add for fantasy managers that have roster space.

Adalberto Mondesi SS | BOS
Royals' Adalberto Mondesi: Sidelined by hamstring
Mondesi (hamstring) is not starting Tuesday against the Pirates, Lynn Worthy of The Kansas City Star reports.
According to manager Mike Matheny, Mondesi was feeling better Tuesday morning after being removed, reportedly as a precaution, from Monday's contest with a hamstring issue. It remains unclear how soon the shortstop will be able to return to action, but Matheny's update suggests the injury is nothing too significant.

Tim Anderson 2B | LAA
White Sox's Tim Anderson: Back in lineup
Anderson (allergies) is back in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against Cleveland.
Anderson was forced to sit out Game 2 of Monday's doubleheader because of an allergy-induced headache. The star shortstop will get right back in the lineup Tuesday, batting in his normal leadoff position and playing shortstop.

Adalberto Mondesi SS | BOS
Royals' Adalberto Mondesi: Tweaks hamstring late
Mondesi exited Monday's game against the Pirates after feeling a "little tweak" in his hamstring, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.
The speedster went 2-for-3 with a two-run blast before leaving the contest. Mondesi's removal appears to have been precautionary, but it'll be unclear how serious the hamstring issue is until the Royals provide further updates. He has hit .360 with two homers, three doubles, one steal and 10 strikeouts in 25 at-bats since making his 2021 debut May 25.

Tim Anderson 2B | LAA
White Sox's Tim Anderson: Sidelined by allergies
Anderson was dealing with allergies as he sat out Game 2 of Monday's doubleheader, Tom Withers of the Associated Press reports.
Much like teammate Andrew Vaughn, Anderson sat due to an allergy-induced headache. It's unclear whether the shortstop will return to action Tuesday, but he figures to be back in the lineup sooner rather than later.

Tim Anderson 2B | LAA
White Sox's Tim Anderson: Takes seat for Game 2
Anderson is out of the lineup for the second game of Monday's doubleheader with Cleveland.
Anderson has missed some time of late with a sore thumb and general soreness, so the White Sox may be holding him out primarily for maintenance purposes in the second half of the twin bill. Danny Mendick will fill in at shortstop for Anderson, who went 0-for-3 with a walk while being caught stealing twice in the White Sox's 8-6 win in Game 1.

Joey Wendle 2B | ATL
Rays' Joey Wendle: Sitting Monday
Wendle is not in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Yankees, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Yandy Diaz will shift to the hot corner as Wendle takes a seat for the series opener at Yankee Stadium.

Aledmys Diaz 1B | HOU
Astros' Aledmys Diaz: Covers for multiple injured players
Diaz started at first base and went 1-for-2 with a double, two RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 7-4 win over the Padres.
Diaz has been needed everywhere the last stretch of games due to injuries to lineup regulars. He's started the last four games: two at DH for Yordan Alvarez (wrist), once in left field for Michael Brantley (hamstring) and once at first base for Yuli Gurriel (finger). He's just 3-for-18 during that stretch but should get consistent at-bats in the short term given the number of injuries with which Houston is dealing.

David Fletcher 2B | ATL
Angels' David Fletcher: Doubles twice, drives in two
Fletcher went 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 4-2 win over Oakland.
Fletcher knocked a two-run double in the second inning before coming around to score on a Phil Gosselin single. It was the 26-year-old's first game with multiple extra-base hits this season and he raised his OPS to .602. He's scored 27 runs and driven in 16.

Tim Anderson 2B | LAA
White Sox's Tim Anderson: Steals base Sunday
Anderson went 2-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 3-1 win over Baltimore.
Anderson got aboard with a single in the seventh inning, then stole second and advanced to third on an error. The shortstop came home on a go-ahead RBI triple from Nick Madrigal. Anderson is now 9-for-11 in stolen base attempts this year. He's added five home runs, 17 RBI, 31 runs scored and a .293/.330/.425 slash line in 40 games as the White Sox's usual leadoff hitter.
